Santa Maria Grocery

Has some amazing fajita mixes to take home, amazing house salsa to buy. A little overcrowded but very authentic. I just went with a professional chef from Oakland, and he said "this is the real deal"- he was amazed by some items there, thought it was a great Mexican grocery esp considering we are in Madison.

Great little spot, I have a hard time find the cuts of meat I am looking for in my normal grocery store along with other items which I can find here. The young lady at the register was also very nice and helpful.

I enjoy the selection of Hispanic grocery items offered here. We picked up dried chiles and corn husks for tamales, and I found hibiscus tea! Of course we couldn't leave without getting some candy!

Highly recommend shopping here if you want fresh meat, fruits, etc. They have a big selection of groceries, candy and fun mexican store finds. Since the last time I was here they have remodeled so many things making the store feel newer and welcoming, staff is great!! Tamales and Carnitas here on the weekends are also a major plus

Lot's of hard to find items that my usual grocery store lacks. The butcher shop makes the best mexican chorizo in Madison. Not to be confused with spanish chorizo which is totally different. That's why I give them 5 stars.

Delicious marinated meat, queso fresco and some goodies you'll have a hard time finding at a conventional grocery. Bring freshly made salsa or tamales home! Very good prices.

Great, small and jam packed with Latin goodies. Home made tamales, barbacoa, guacamole and salsa on Saturday. A little bit like shopping in a market in Mexico.

Love coming here when it’s Taco/Nacho night in my house. They have everything right here; and it’s also so fresh.
