Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse

Went with a group of friends that recommended this place and now I see why. For appetizers we got wings and the boudin 🔥 I personality got the pit boss burger it was so good! At our table we had a mixture of plates. Chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, catfish, and brisket. Everything was so delicious, to end our feast we got a cheesecake, Mississippi Mudslide, and All American Apple Pie Jar 🤌🏽

This was exactly what I was looking for. Top-notch BBQ in a proper restaurant bar setting.

I started with a cherry vanilla bourbon with coke...awesome drink!

I had the brisket and pulled pork combo and it did not disappoint. They have their own sauce to add. My side was a double order of mashed potatoes. The price was great too..

It was my first time there (from Canada) and I will be back in May for business and I'm bringing everybody!

Loved it! First time here. We came to try the fried chicken. It was wonderful! You can choose buttermilk fried or Nashville hot. The Nashville tasted like it had a lot of chili oil. I really liked it. Hubby loved the chicken fried steak. Kids got the ribs and pulled pork. They're good at any Pappas restaurant. Mac n cheese were great. Our server was excellent! Left her a bit extra for her great service. I thought the prices were moderate to slightly expensive.. Expect 20$ to 30$ a person including a regular drink. We were disappointed there was no Pappas banana pudding. We will return. For the fried chicken.

I am a huge barbecue fan! I have tried so many different barbecue spots, but this place is my all time favorite!!! It never ever disappoints. The meats here are always so flavorful, tender, and juicy! My favorite item here is the pork ribs, but there are times where they sell out. It can be very upsetting, but once you give them a try you will understand why they sell out!!! They are amazing. The basket of sauces, sides, and bread rolls are also all very very good! I do recommend for EVERYONE to try their Sunday’s Deviled Eggs! I have never been a fan of deviled eggs, but theirs made me change my mind. I cannot come here without ordering them now!
I absolutely love this place and will never turn it down! Please give them a try you will NOT be disappointed!

Some of these 1-2 star reviews are laughable. 1. Anyone that keeps saying waist not waste is an automatic pass for me. Waist is part of your body. People shouldn’t even bother with that review. 2. The staff is not racist or judgmental like someone said. Texas is pretty diverse so no need to play the victim card.

When we parked, there was a group of people just waiting by the door, but no one by the hostess. I walked up to the hostess and said how many were in my party, and we were immediately seated. Service as a whole was splendid. Our server made sure we got everything we needed. Food came out fast. We ordered several items to try. Yes it is pricey but the food we ordered was far from being bland.

-sticky pork belly bites 5/5 - I really like the cherry cola glaze. The pork belly was not too sweet after the glaze.
-Sunday’s deviled eggs 5/5 - brisket on top of deviled eggs. Yes please.
-Roy’s chicken fried steak 5/5 - not your typical chicken fried steak from Ihop. Great quality, easy to cut. Peppercorn cream gravy was perfectly seasoned. The dinner rolls are moist not dry. I didn’t really need butter on them. Cream corn pudding with jalapeño is a must have side. Not really spicy just a small kick.
-Tim’s crispy buttermilk fried chicken 5/5 - didn’t get any dried chicken in the middle, very moist and tasty.

This place is pricey but as expected for a Pappas restaurant. At least you get a lot of food, definitely a lot of bang for your buck. The deviled eggs were to die for and the pork belly on them was delicious. We also had ribs and sliced chicken. The chicken was meh but the ribs were huge and fell off the bone. The mashed potatoes and potato salad were yummy as well. The family then split the apple pie in the jar and it was amazing, pretty great price for it as well to be able to split between 6 of us.

Our waitress was good but went missing a few times. It was on mothers day so pretty expected.

I love this place. The food and drinks are always good. I admittedly only order one to two of the same three items, buts it's ALWAYS delicious. My standard items are:
Fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and peppercorn ranch
Deviled eggs with smoked pork belly
Smokehouse chicken wings

I don't come here often cause I live so far, but I absolutely love the food and drinks here.
For drinks try their smoked old fashioned. I can't remember the drink in the picture. It's a tropical tasting Mezcal drink and it's delicious.

Wow, this was my first. I'm so impressed. Everything was fantastic and wonderful. They've even got ice in the bathroom for sanitation purposes. I'm definitely coming back for the amazing experience and food.

I am learning that Pappa’s has a lot of restaurants in Texas - next to this one is a seafood themed restaurant.

Business dinner meeting & had plenty of room to eat & feel comfortable with everyone invites.

Server was great - recommended the jalapeño sausage, which was great with my salad.
So was the appetizer - Sticky Pork Belly Bites.

Restrooms ADA accessible.

Plenty of parking.

Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite suggestions!

Service was a little slow. We had the bartender servicing us along with handling the bar. They should have had a regular server assisting us.
Food was all good.

Ribs combo and Nashville spicy chicken are some of my favorites. Creamed corn, baked beans, Cole slaw... All are very tasty. On Tuesday evenings, they have been featuring "steak night" $20 ribeye and sides. 👍🏻👍🏻

We all enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was fun and everything was well maintained. We all enjoyed our meals. The macaroni and cheese with ritz crust was some of THE BEST I have ever had! Highly recommend. The regular burger was huge and delish. The ribs and pulled pork combo was an excellent deal and yummy. The Chicken fried steak was a great portion, and excellent flavor. The rolls were very fresh and tasty. Our service was great. We wish we had one of these back in San Antonio! Great spot.

Looked for a place to grab a late lunch, and we just hit the jackpot!!!
Cool place with a nice decor, and an easy going, fun vibe.
Had a great server, that gave us recommendations and was fun to talk to.
Started with some pork belly bits. One of the best appetizer dishes I ever had! Pork belly cubes, tender, and cooked to perfection, with a cherry cola glaze, that made it sweet but not too sweet. They were delicious!! Don't miss on them.
Next we had a brisket-ribs combo. The brisket was great. A nice smoke ring, tender, and full of flavor, and definitely not dry. The ribs were also cooked perfectly. Falling of the bone soft, with a lot of flavor. It was a big plate with a generous portion of meat.
We also got a ribeye steak. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, seasoned with only salt and pepper, like a good piece of meat should. An amazing steaks!!
We got 4 sides with all those dishes, and they were all good, but the corn and the glazed carrots were my favorite. Definitely get them!
Since everything was great, and even though we were full, we had to get a dessert, so we got the mudslide. Great choice! Good chocolate cake with great chocolate mousse, with some marshmallow cream on it. Not as sweet as it sounds, but still a good sweet to end a perfect meal.
This is definitely a place to come to, and than, come again!!

We visited Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse on 7/1 in Webster, TX. We made reservations and they were able to accommodate our family group of 12 in a separate room. Our server, Lorenzo was awesome and friendly. The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that visits the Houston (Webster) area!

Food here is fabulous! Particularly the sauce on the sticky pork belly bites. Or the house smoked boudan. Yum! The nachos were super too. The variety of food on the menu is astounding. Can't wait to return to try it all out. Just missing max stars for the loud music - not conducive for good casual conversation at the table. And also I think they were short staffed. We took a table that needed bussing, and after 20 minutes we bussed it ourselves. Then after another almost 20 minutes we were finally able to order water, drinks and food. Another person at a neighboring table said she asked the waiter to take our orders. She said it wasn't usual for that type of service and she comes here a lot. We'll be sure to try it again.

Highly recommended. Hasn't disappointed yet. Great brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, and burgers. Start with the pork belly in cherry cola glaze. Shrimp Brochette with the addition of sausage and a mix of garlic butter and bbq sauce is amazing.

Visiting family,late lunch on a Friday.I'm casual and don't require much service, since I was with the Folks was hoping for them to enjoy. Service was an easy seven stars Thanks to Marialaine.

Fried Catfish plate, 3 sandwiches and 3 Margaritas
( mine). I had the turkey and a chopped brisket sandwich. Ridiculous how good it was.Even the bun was delicious and fresh.The quality of everything here is really impressive.

Dinning out has definitely changed recently, but the quality of food here is really something else.

Simply some of the best barbecue I've ever had. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a variety and flavors and make a full meal out of multiple appetizers. Go for the sticky pork bites, the shrimp brochette (which is actually sausage and shrimp wrapped in bacon!), the deviled eggs with brisket on top, and the brisket queso. This is an amazing variety of flavors and you will have plenty to take home as well. Probably one of the best barbecue meals I have ever had and all I ever order now. If this flavor bomb ever disappoints you, well, you have COVID and I can't help you, but call me I'll be glad to eat your leftovers!! (900) LUV-MEAT.

My kids and I are visiting and wanted to try Texas BBQ. This place met our expectations and more. Delicious food and drinks! The service was great! Thanks Como with your food recommendation. Absolutely recommend this place.
