In the past I've had trouble with the office not having the appointment information that the central registration group made, but fortunately that wasn't the case this time. The person working the front desk now is exponentially better than some of the people who have been there in the past. She's polite and professional and seems very bright (again, a nice contrast to some of the previous people who worked there).

Connie was so friendly upbeat, professional And personable! My partner and I went together to see her for a hearing test and discussion of my options with new hearing aids. The entire experience from the moment we got there, and she greeted us, to the moment we left and she invited us to get in touch if she could be of further help, was positive, and she had such great energy. She was professional, skilled, knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind.We felt she was sincere and truly wanted to help people to hear better and enjoy a fuller life. Due to insurance funding issues, I have shopped several hearing aid stores in Charlottesville. And by far, the best treatment I got was by Connie at Next Level.

Update: Have been wearing my new Opticon hearing aids, for over a full week now. And the difference out on my Bike and in conversations and enjoying broadcast media has been so positive and helpful to me.(Just like Connie and the kind people at Next Level). And the new hearing aid benefits are opening possibilities I could not have imagined. Having dealt with a hearing loss for years, and now getting the help I needed is a real life - changer. And whole new world of sound that has opened for me.A Heart- felt Thank You!

Connie knows her stuff and treated me professionally and w respect. She even talked me into more than I had planned to spend but her points were spot on. I am happy with the hearing aid we went with and appreciate the ongoing value brought by Connie. As an update - I did run into some issues with the aids but Connie saw to there replacement promptly. Remain pleased with the service and the product.

Due to recent staffing changes (for the BETTER) my latest appointment was delayed a bit. Cynthia, out front, is a refreshing change from the usual droll, indifferent voice that typically answered the phone at this location. She is enthusiastic & projects an image of genuine helpfulness. Connie, the current clinician, provided me with the most thorough & comprehensive exam I have ever had. A hearing aid user herself, she is very aware of the issues of hearing loss & communicated with me on both a personal & professional level.

I highly recommend this location of Next Level Hearing Care.

I went to Next Level Hearing to have a hearing evaluation, and when the hearing expert checked my ears she discovered that one of my ears contained a large amount of wax which was hardened. A test could not be conducted until I had the wax removed. The state of VA has a law which prohibits this process to be done by a hearing aid expert. I will now have this taken care of by a professional and will return to have the test. I’m appreciative that I was given this information and the information that I received about what might lie ahead for me. For that reason I will give this visit a 5 star rating and am looking forward to my next visit.

I was referred to Next Level Hearing Care by another provider and found that I liked this one much better. Connie Davis was cordial, seemed to know her stuff and made me feel like I mattered. My wife and I will use this hearing aid center for all our future needs.

Took my almost 86 year old mother to Albemarle Audiology to investigate getting hearing aids for her. The staff members there are so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. My mother was comfortable asking questions and discussing her concerns. I would recommend Albemarle Audiology highly.

Friendly office, with professional care. My hearing aids were up dated with the latest info from the manufacturer. Then they were fined tuned inorder to accommodate my particular needs.

I went there initially for an evaluation which, indeed, indicated a hearing loss. That said, I was eager to see what I had been missing. Albemarle Audiology is the only place in Charlottesville that carries Phonak's Lyric hearing aids. With them, I am not aware I have a hearing loss. I would not trade them for any other device - and I have tried. The service Marion and her staff provide is great. I find making appointments for replacements to be an easy task. The actual time in office for the replacement is maybe 10-15 minutes ... every six weeks or so.

Marian Fredner was the audiologist who checked my hearing when I entered the hospital with a severe viral ear infection in June, 2004. The infection destroyed my right inner ear. So when I needed to hear better, I turned to her. She has been thoughtful and professional, caring for me every step of the way, and always trying to fit me with the device that best suits my need. I started out with a single Phonak hearing aid in the only ear that could hear. Then Phonak came out with a Cros--a device that fits in my totally deaf ear and transmits the sound via radio waves (or Bluetooth or something) to the hearing aid in my good ear. Now I can hear what people are saying who sit on my deaf side. Recently I lost my Cros (again). It was covered by insurance, so I ordered a new one (with a $400 co-pay). It came in, she fitted me, and sent me on my way. I was so glad I could hear again. But the next day I noticed the good-ear device was not signaling it was or was not receiving the signal from the Cros. I called her up, and she found a time for me to see her the next day. In about 15 minutes she had me hearing beautifully and I went my way home singing--and no service fee. Marian Fredner knows her trade, and she cares for her clients. I highly recommend Albemarle Audiology.

I went there for an evaluation, the provider Marian's expert knowledge determined that I was having trouble in one ear with my hearing as I expected. Marian and Connie both are very professional, both are sincere and caring.

The people were great and they made sure that I knew how to use my hearing aids and adjusted them for my hearing unlike the office that I bought them from
