Doug has been providing pest control for my family for almost 2 years. This 3rd generation family owned business goes above and beyond to provide customer service. Their service is exactly what they say it will be and more. Whenever I need extra service, my call is answered promptly or returned within a few hours. Doug easily works with my schedule. We had a bat living under our eaves and something living in our attic. Doug explained what he can do and if extra costs were expected and quickly took care of the issues and no further treatment was needed. Pony Express is thorough and thoughtful with an easy payment process. I have hired many different pest control companies in other cities I have lived and Pony Express is by far the best. Call them and see for yourself and you'll only be asking why didn't I call sooner.

Honest, reliable and competent.

Communication and work with them has been a terrible experience. I have explained several times that I am canceling my service and they still continue to try and come perform their service. I think they delete correspondence so screen shot all your communications

Talks a big talk, but the lack of results show for themselves. Even with over a year of monthly treatments I actually had a worse pest problem than when I started service. Carpenter Bees, Ants, Roaches, & Mice all appeared even with monthly treatments. As we discovered these pests we would bring it to the attention of the company and they were quick to respond "we'll take care of it", however, the pests are still present. I eventually started taking things into my own hands with mice traps, roach bait, ant poison... got to a point where I was questioning what I was paying this company for. There is no report on the services provided and communication is inadequate. Scheduling is another downside... they service when they are 'in the area' without any warning or heads up, you just get an invoice. My last straw was when I requested that my monthly service be skipped for the month a few days before the anticipated monthly service, a week later they show up without any communication, service the property, and send me an invoice. When I declined the invoice they reached out asking why, I told them I had requested the service to be skipped for the month, their response was - it's a new month... 4 days into a new month, and 7 days after I requested the skip. When I again declined to pay for the service that should've been skipped, the response was "I have been very fair to you coming out for no charge for the rodents in the garage, so please be fair to me"... when in fact it wasn't free, I paid for that service. Then it was followed up with "You did not send a cancellation request you sent a skip... skip and cancellation are two different things". The fact that they are resorting to nuances in terminology to defend their mistake and demand payment for a service that shouldn't have happened shows how unprofessional and negligent this company is, don't hire them. I have grudgingly decided to pay them for the last service they completed despite my dissatisfaction with how they operate their business and I have "cancelled" my service with them (I hope I am using the correct terminology). Surely those of you reading this will learn from my mistake of hiring this company and choose a better company that actually cares about customer service, quality, and character.

Extremely dishonest company DO NOT HIRE THEM. I was overcharged hundreds of dollars through their billing system. It has been months since they acknowledged the problem, and they still owe me $324 dollars. Every time I have spoken to the owner, Doug, there is a different excuse why he can't pay or a promise of a payment that never happens. Do yourself a favor and hire a different company for pest control, one that is honest and able to refund their billing mistakes.
