I'm an E-commerce seller by trade so I use The post office almost daily to mail my packages. Greg has saved my skin more than once on some package issues(my fault) and both of the Daniels there are top notch employees. They all made me feel very welcome when I was a fresh face in town and I've never had any issues here. Thanks guys!

This post office is awesome! We use this PO for general delivery when we are in the area. The folks that work here have been nothing but friendly and helpful. Yes it might be a little slow because they are chatting with customers but personally I think that adds to their great service. Even though we don't live here they treat us like friends and have gotten to recognize us when we come in. We have had nothing but awesome service! Keep up the good work!

On their informed delivery online at 8:48 in the morning it said I was getting two packages from 12 pm - 2 pm I never got the mail at all so I waited all day and then at 10 it said that they would instead be delivered on the 5th and 6th (it’s the 3rd today) and we didn’t get our mail at all today

I can write about a number of different times say oh, in the last several years where I have experienced terrible service from this post office. But I'll just describe the current issue.

My package apparently needs a signature. So instead of coming to my door to get it and deliver the package as is what is supposed to happen, a note was left in my mailbox to pickup at the post office. I went to my online informed delivery, and successfully scheduled a redelivery the next day, with instructions to come to the door and that I would be home all day.

After three days, there was no change in the status, and no delivery. However today, it lists the package as 'available to pickup' again. When I tried to schedule a redelivery again, it states that it is now 'ineligible' even though none of the typical reasons listed for an item to be ineligible apply, so obviously someone up at the post office set this particular item this way so it could not be redelivered. They are now closed, and will not be open until Monday morning, when my family is leaving for a weeklong trip. Wonderful.

I will say that the one older gentleman I deal with when I go in is always kind and friendly, but other that that, this post office deserves the low score you see and even worse. The drivers and administration are terribly lazy and not oriented to helping their townspeople. Shameful.

Life has its challenges.
Sometimes horrible, unprofessional, head trip, ridiculous people make things more difficult.
Pollock Pines is a small Comunity, people know each other.
Most postal workers at the Pollock Pines post office are over the top great.
They know your name, and show respect.
Not long ago Pollock Pines post office had a new Post Master start, not a good person,
very arrogant.
I'm a Fire Fighter EMT and also Technician for a Company.
With work helping others, life, I'm not always each day picking up my Mail at my post office box.
Sometimes I wait a week or so, life just happens.
About 6 months ago, I was gone a couple of weeks, death of a friend and work helping others, I was gone.

I found my post office box locked were I could not get in it.
That day the post office Post Master was in, I asked why is my box locked?
I received no notice of money owed?
He had an arougant smile, thought it was funny.
He said I sent all your mail back, your box rent not been paid.
I had no notice, and no reason to send my mail back.
Also at the time I was taking, and still am, taking care of an elderly woman who is confined to her bed, trying to get her State help.
I had taken her to Placerville to sign up for Medical.
Waiting for mail confirmation.
But the Post master sent my mail back for no reason.
Arougant attitude about it he had.
As we all know State applications are slow as it is, with the post master doing what he did, it hurt this elderly lady severely to get help.
Application was rejected.
Also hurt me financially.

Today, only a week and a half not been in the post office, I received no notice of Post Office box rent due.
Again my box is locked, I asked the lady at the counter, she said box is empty, mail sent back, I paid the fee, not knowing as before there was an issue.
She called the arougant Post master, he said he will begin tomorrow to unlock my box.
He caused great financial problems with his arougant actions, and I'm still helping the elderly lady.
Come on, he should be fired.

I think it's unbelievable that the carriers say package is undeliverable when I saw them pull up to my house and just sit in their truck and not even attempt? My package wasn't heavy so I don't understand that and it's a Saturday so we have to wait till Monday? That is ridiculous. Very unprofessional honestly that just sucks!
