This place is everything I wanted and more. I spent numerous hours emailing and contacting venues that would have everything I wanted and was within our tight budget. Rebecca has been so helpful in planning the process. I have already starting referring the venue to others. The facility is absolutely beautiful and I’m so excited for my big day now. They took a lot of the stress off of my shoulders. Now I get to marry my best friend May 16, 2020!!!!

We recently rented the coffeehouse area for a surprise anniversary party, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was great for our needs and Karen was incredibly helpful with every step of the process. We all had a great time and I know it will be an event we never forget. Highly recommended!

I had my graduation party here and it was so wonderful! The staff was very professional and helpful. The coordinator was kind and helped us find vendors that were reasonably priced.

The pointe made it so easy And stress free for me to plan my big day! Both ladies have went above and beyond to accommodate my needs specifically and adjust anything that doesn’t meet my expectations! Can’t wait till June 2020 for my special day.

Booked the venue for our April 2018 wedding in November 2016. We went through 3 event coordinators during the course of this process. The one we ended up with we met with in February 2018 to go over details to ensure that what we had decided on with the first coordinator was in fact still happening. I asked if we needed to be out of the venue by midnight or shut party down and out by midnight and the response I was given was “as long as I’m home in bed by 2am”. In March 2018 I made an appointment to pay our balance due and do a tour to mentally place everything. Emailed her on 3/19 and set appointment for 3/21... show up at venue and she was not there. Emailed her and “she completely forgot”. Fast forward to rehearsal night. I hand coordinator a step by step sheet on how the ceremony is to go. On said sheet it says groomsmen then groom: she calls groom first. So I interrupt and say groomsmen first to which she replied tradition says groom... ok well I really don’t care what tradition says, this is my wedding and if I want my third cousins to walk down the aisle in the processional I can do it. So after talking to my now husband we decide it’s awkward with him going first and say groomsmen are going first. It was obvious the coordinator did not like that, but again, it’s my wedding. Day of wedding was absolutely perfect.... til around 10 when my husband comes to me and says the bartenders are informing people they were told it’s last call. Excuse me what? Track down coordinator as she’s speaking to the DJ and ask her what’s up with that. I said we have the venue until midnight, last call is not now, it’s no earlier than 1115 (DJ was done playing music at 11:30). Come to find out the coordinator was at the bar complaining to my guests about how she had been there all day and she was tired and this was just her part time job... apparently she thought if we stopped serving liquor that the party would die and she could go home.
It is sad because this venue is perfect! Like literally everything from where we got ready to the bathrooms to the linens was on point, but the current coordinator was less than delightful. I have had a part time job in the past and it may not be your top priority, but it definitely takes the right kind of person to be an event coordinator, especially when it happens to be coordinating such a special event like a wedding.

My now husband and I had looked and this place and even signed with them to have our wedding here. We put our deposit down and according to their website, it is refundable. We had an coordinator assigned to us and she was awesome and our wedding date was picked for a year out from then. About a month into our planning process she notified us that she quit and gave us the contact information for the individual who would be taking her place. We contacted the new coordinator a few times however each time she stated that she just had a lot of new clients dumped on her and that she had a normal 9-5 job besides doing the weddings at Pointe Banquet. She stated that she was going through her list in order of whos wedding was the soonest. I gave it about 4 months and tried to reach out to our new coordinator a few more times. She was very hard to get ahold of or just would not respond. I freaked out and decided to book elsewhere (Pilgrim Chapel) . My husband and I notified Pointe Banquet and tried to see about getting our deposit back. We never heard back.. We called them and left a voicemail complaining about our experience and then got a call back. They stated that they would call us back after the looked into the deposit- again, they never called back. At this point I just called it a loss and let it go. The next time we spoke to them was about one week before our assigned wedding date at their banquet hall (we had already been married elsewhere and they should have known we were not getting married there any longer)and they were wanting to go over details with us. I believe it was the new head of the program that contacted me then but I let her know of the whole ordeal and she stated that she would call me back about the deposit... We never heard back yet again. I am giving this place two stars because the place is very nice and there is great potential. If they can minimize their turn over rate and improve communication, they may become an awesome place to get married.. as of right now, it is not.

We made an appointment for a tour of the space for 4:00 pm (in our confirmation email it said we were meeting with Rebecca). We arrived a few minutes before 4, and rang the bell to get buzzed in (since it’s part of a church). We told the woman that answered that we had an appointment for a tour of the space with Rebecca. She asked to confirm that our appointment was with Rebecca and said we probably meant Connie. I told her our email said our appointment was with Rebecca and she again repeated that the email probably said Connie. We were finally let inside and told to wait and that Connie would be up soon to show us the space. We continued to wait, and we had our 10-month-old son with us (since it’s for his 1st birthday), and he started to get antsy because he was getting hungry. After waiting for 25 minutes I went to the woman that was sitting at the desk and asked if someone was coming up to show us the space. She replied by saying “well I would assume so.” She then proceeded to tell me that Rebecca no longer works there. I told her I understood that and that I was told that Connie was coming to help us. She said she would get a hold of Connie. We did not see her make a phone call to anybody and she did not say anything else to us.

We continued to wait several more minutes to see if someone was going to come help us but no one ever came. We were ready to leave as we had our son to tend to. I told the woman at the desk not to worry about it and that we would find another space to use.

Once we got home, I received a text from somebody at the event space saying that something had come up and that they would need to reschedule. At this point the text I received was sent to us almost 40 minutes after our scheduled appointment time.

So we never even got to see the space, but I wouldn’t want to host an event here if the staff can’t communicate properly or timely, as well as not be friendly or inviting. Also, they may want to update their website/email confirmations and change the name, since the person that’s listed on the email no longer is working there.
