I cannot recommend Keweenaw Adventure Co enough. I’ve booked bike rentals/shuttles with them in the past, but recently booked a kayak tour with them just after Labor Day weekend. Lily was wonderfully communicative and welcoming when I called to book as a solo traveler. She was up front about potential weather related changes, and she communicated a date change (due to weather) with me perfectly. Getting out on the water with our guide Fisher was also great. Fisher was very relaxed, yet very professional. Our 6 hour Agate Harbor tour was great. We managed to sneak in some great paddle/stroke technique training before lunch and an excellent stop by Silver Island. Fisher was well versed in the history and geology of the area. Even the provided lunch was great. Again, I would recommend Keweenaw Adventure Company with zero hesitation. Thanks you Lily and Fisher for an excellent experience! I’ll be back next year.

We did both the Mountain Biking rentals and a 4-day kayak tour to Isle Royale with the Keweenaw Adventure Company. I can say that both experiences were top notch and 5 stars. Fantastic service from all the staff, great attention to detail and providing the best client experience possible.
Bonesy, our kayaking guide, did an amazing job catering the experience to our level and creating an adventurous, but also safe, introduction to Isle Royale. Oh, and the camping experience was luxurious, with gourmet freshly cooked meals. I can't say enough good things about the unforgettable experience. If you're on the fence, trust me, this is worth it!!!

Me and some friends used their shuttle for the mountain biking trails and it was totally worth it. Everyone was super awesome, Issac was a great driver and gave us good recommendations on trails to ride. Two in our group also rented bikes and the bikes were new and really high quality and nice condition. Totally worth the price of the shuttle if you plan on riding all day!

Great experience. We rented bikes and kayaks; the staff, service and products were excellent. The shop was very busy but we never felt that we were being put off. Lily even took the time to send an email of suggested kayak locations because she thought of them after we left. Great job and thank you.

My boyfriend and I did the sunset paddle on Thursday. The weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking! Eli and Lynn, our guides, were thorough with safety and instruction beforehand and extremely informative during the paddle. Lynn gave us some great insight into the fun local things to do while in town as well.

Both my boyfriend and I agreed that the sunset we were able to see on Lake Superior was the #1 best sunset we've ever seen! This company and the sunset tour specific is a must do while in Copper Harbor!

I had such a great experience with Keweenaw Adventure Company! My boyfriend and I were originally signed up to do a half day of kayaking but it was canceled for safety reasons due to inclement weather and choppy water. I was devastated because the kayaking trip was scheduled to be on our last day in town before going home, so we couldn't reschedule for the next week when there was better weather.

The owner could clearly tell I was sad to be missing out on our last day of adventure and had some guides check the water day-of just to reconfirm it was a bad idea & gave us so many alternative options to choose from that didn't involve getting on the water. He even offered to check the water in the afternoon to see if we could kayak later in the day! We ultimatley decided to try mountain biking which I had never done and we had so much fun. The guide was super nice and taught us everything and took pictures and videos of us doing cool mountain bike stuff. We had so much fun we spent basically the whole day on the mountain with the guides and they turned what was going to be a sad rainy day into a great & memorable experience.

Great place to rent a mountain bike with easy access to the many trails via shuttle and/or via climb. Staff is very easy going and knowledgeable.

We booked a shuttle from Copper Harbor to Houghton. Zeke was our driver and he was awesome! He helped get our luggage from the ferry dock to the van, which was much appreciated. He was very nice and personable, and had really great knowledge of the area. He was able to share some history and information about Isle Royal and the U.P. culture. I would highly recommend Keeweenah Adventure Company for all of your outdoor and transportation needs!

Do the sunset kayaking tour! You won't regret it; Birch and Isaac were two of the best tour guides ever. They were patient, kind, HILARIOUS, and always put our safety first. Watching the sun set at Michigan's northernmost point was truly spectacular and breathtaking. Do not miss out on this opportunity.

Got the 3-day mountain bike shuttle service pass and had a blast! Friendly staff who are happy to give recommendations of trails to ride or other local info.

A must stop for all things fun! We did the 2.5 hour kayak tour, with Bonesy and Fisher! They were both very fun and knowledgeable on kayaking and the area! Fisher recommended Fitzgerald’s Hotel & Restaurant (in Eagle River) for dinner - The food was absolutely delicious! Thanks for the fun, guys!

Booked the Agate Harbor kayak tour and it did not disappoint!!! The whole experience was great, from ease of reservation, getting outfitted with our equipment, and making sure everyone was comfortable and informed before we launched. And our guide Lena was amazing - super knowledgeable, extremely professional, patient and kind, and lots of fun! Would highly recommend and will definitely book again next time we’re here!

This was my first time mountain biking, and thanks to our phenomenal guide Jake, I went from never riding a mountain bike before to conquering a few green and blue trails in a couple hours. Signing up for a guided excursion was super easy at the front desk, and the fittings for our bikes were very comfortable and accommodating. We had plenty of time to practice on some easy trails near the shop, then the shuttle was perfect for our trip to more challenging beginner trails. It was the perfect balance of instruction and fun. Already planning our next trip back to bike some more and kayak Isle Royale!!

What a great guide service! I called on a Tuesday, relatively impromptu, and they fit me in as a solo on Thursday. We had Chris as a guide, ended up doing the 1/2 day trip down to Bete Gris. First class guide work, 4+ hours on the water with Chris and pleasant conversation. The shop is well-appointed, and they had our party outfitted quickly and down to launch point. Highly recommend if you make it to Copper Harbor!

10 out of five. Isaac was a fantastic guide; catered the route to my ability and comfort level. At the end, I was taking some downhills feeling like I actually knew what I was doing.
I had a blast and saw some great views of Copper Harbor.

My second year using the shuttle for the mountain bike trails. Great way to get in a lot of trails. The shuttle driver is very informative about all of trails.

Lena, Jake and Fisher (our guides for sea kayaking) were excellent! As a large family these types of little adventures can sometimes be challenging as there are such a variety of favorite things to do. These 3 were very diligent in making sure everyone understood everything from how to paddle to what to do if you tip over (a very rare occurrence). We then paddled as part of a large group for nearly 2 hours. They engaged with everyone and managed the variety of skill levels in a professional but fun way while also sharing some information about the area. We all would highly recommend Lena, Jake, Fisher and Keweenaw Adventure Company.

We took the sea kayaking tour (evening, so we could catch the sunset). It was AMAZING. The entire staff was so helpful and accommodating to everyone's needs and abilities. This was far and away the group's favorite activity from our vacation. Everyone is still raving about it!

We had such a great time with our family in copper harbor, and KAC made it happen! We did a kayak tour and rented mountain bikes to enjoy the amazing trail system. The trails are well marked and the staff was super helpful in choosing trails for our experience level. The shuttle was an excellent feature to maximize enjoyment. Even our 9-year-old was able to go down the flow, and our 7-year-old enjoyed the fanny hooe trail! We did a two and a half hour guided sea kayak tour and got to experience some rougher water outside the harbor which was definitely a highlight. Lily, Tyler, and Jake were excellent guides and Raymond (the owner) was so helpful making sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go again!
