Matt and his crew were out to remove a very tall pine tree from our backyard. They had all the necessary equipment and manpower because the tree was in a very inaccessible spot. The work was done quickly, safely, and for a very reasonable price considering it required a crane to reach it. Clean-up was so well done that one would never know they had been here! Matt was so polite, explained exactly what would be done and was such a pleasure to work with.

Matt is terrific! On our property we have a variety of large trees that had not been pruned in years. Matt climbed the trees and made fairly quick work of getting them into beautiful shape without large-scale equipment destroying the lawn. He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Matt—judging by the work he did for us, no job is too large!

We have had Matt take care of our trees for three years now. Our property and its trees has never looked better! He is a careful and considerate worker - we love that his equipment is quiet and smaller-scale and he takes the cleanup as seriously as the actual work. Matt did some tree work for Chamberlain Commons HOA in Kennebunk.Maine.This is the second time Matt has done work for us and he did everything we asked, he did it in time, and cleaned up the work site and removed all the debris. When my husband first emailed Matt he responded in less than 24 hours. We scheduled a time for him to come and provide us with an estimate and asked him to call 10 minutes in advance and he did. He was always very professional with ball forms of communication. We provided us with an estimate to take down one oak tree, remove three stumps and clean up. He was around 700.00 less than an estimate we received from another company for the same work. Matt have us an estimated week in September that he would be able to complete the project. He emailed with a last minute cancellation and was able to complete the work this week. He was very professional, hard working and did the job in a timely manner too. Would call him again for any future tree needs.

I am super happy with the work Matt did trimming and thinning my shrubs and cutting high limbs of several trees. He has an eye for balance and the skill and experience to know which limbs need to be removed even from high up in the midst of the tree. The tall tree work was done by climbing the tree with ropes. The safety and care taken to drop the limbs strategically was impressive. It was a pleasure to have Matt work on my property because it is evident that he loves and cares about what he does and takes the time needed.

Matt just finished up work on my property which was pruning pine trees and removal and stump grinding bushes. I am so pleased with Seaside because he was so professional. He kept his appointment for an estimate and actually showed up sooner than expected to my delight. He is a hard worker and left the place immaculate. Very professional ,well done ,job! Matt offered lots of advice and options an we had a very large tree close to the house removed. Everything was cleaned up and gone in one day. We also had a lovely old apple tree trimmed . We will definitely be using Matt again!

I met Matt at The Arbor Day of service 2019. We were both working on a nearby “work zone” set up by the Massachusetts Arborists Association. Like most of the networking there, it was short and sweet with not a lot of time to get to know one another. Thankfully, we somehow got re-connected on social media and continued the networking. After much back and forth of the normal tree guy talk, I learned that Matt had a business that helped arborists with their skills, tactics, and development. I was excited to create the opportunity to have Matt come down and help our company with his expertise.

After two days of having Matt with us on an actual job from start to finish, I was blown away at how much he really had to offer. Matt brought organization, implemented safety protocol and displayed incredible competence in every aspect he taught our team. In Arboriculture, there is an innate sense of everyone having to simply “know it all” which can sometimes create tension among crew and more often than not, a dangerous scenario in the tree. Matt has an incredibly keen sense on this issue and can somehow be heard both on the application side, but can seriously back up his talk in the field as well. Our crew were able to see a veteran in the field work with ease and display instant techniques that made us safer, more efficient and most importantly- more comfortable executing one of the most dangerous jobs in the country.

Anyone contemplating of bringing in someone to train their team whether small like us, or large with an expansive crew and fleet needs to work with Matt. Matt can facilitate the extremely rare role of being highly proficient in the field, organized on setup, forward thinking on safety and profit minded for the business side. He helped us implement new programs and regiments to strengthen our core and our processes.

Had some oak trees in front of my house & along my driveway pruned, and had a group of birch saplings removed from the back of my house that were intrusive on my house & plantings. I am very pleased with Matt's work, he did a terrific job. He knows what he's doing & is truly a professional.
