R&R Chocolate

If you want to talk about hidden treasure, this is definitely one to mention. R&R bistro is a combination of a chocolate shop, wine shop, bakery, cafe and sandwich shop. They have an eclectic offering in a quaint little building, tucked away in the Hannaford plaza. They have a small but tremendous sandwich and salad menu that’s better than most in the area. With a clean kitchen and cozy seating area makes this a good spot for takeout and dine in. I frequent the place, especially for the chocolates, the Captain Jack Italian sandwich (A+ choice), and sometimes the Caprese sandwich. Outside of the retail wine selections, these guys also offer a variety of beverages and flavored coffee drinks. Service is very good, not the fastest but they produce good products so that’s a non-issue. This place is a home run for the area. Not a lot of people know about it. Worth a visit.

Its a beautifully set up shop with great sandwiches and sweets. We got 4 different sandwiches and the who group thought they were great. I got the Italian, and shout out to the spicy pepper, it really made the sandwich outstanding. The chocolate chip cookie after was really good too. The staff is super friendly and its really a great atmosphere. I highly recommend.

We LOVE the deli sandwiches. We came back for a 2nd time in our week vacation to get them again. We like the Thanksgiving Turkey and the Ham sandwich with fig dressing. Yuuum!

This is a wonderful chocolate shop and bistro. Our desserts were excellent and we had a hard time choosing from the great selection. If we had not just eaten lunch, I would have ordered a sandwich, they looked amazing! Will be back

I procrastinated trying this place after hearing reports that it takes forever to get your order, but my experience was the exact opposite. My sandwich was ready shockingly fast. Service? Very Friendly! That sandwich? Top Shelf! Delicious! To get a sandwich that good in the area... probably only looking at Village Market in Ogunquit or Anthony's in York. Roast Beef Ciabatta 😋

Little hidden gem that we found on our last day of vacation. Looked for nice coffee place and tried several. Some where closed for the season and others well they had coffee lol. The Captain Jack Italion Special sandwich was awesome and the 1/4 jack is plenty for 2. Loads of other treasures. And finally a decent cup of joe. P.S. my wife had the canoli and said it was the best she ever had

I had been wanting to try the sandwiches at the place for a long time and I'm glad I did. I ordered and turkey wrap and a chicken caesar wrap and the were both delicious. Ingredients were very fresh and came with A LOT of meat. The inside of the shop was very clean and had tons of choices for pastries and other baked goods, chocolates, candies, wine, etc. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Great people, great sandwiches, and experts with chocolat. One of Wells' best kept secreta tucked away in Well Plaza in my old Ocean Bank branch. Highly recommend the Thanksgiving Sandwich. A little bit of the North End hear in Vacationland.

This is the best chocolate maker in town. The evil potato chip is my go to. The have the Best cannolis outside of Boston .I was very blessed to find this place they have what is called a cannoli bar. You can have three different types of filling from chocolate ganache, pistachio and a traditional. I get all three. They have different size shells dipped in chocolate if you like ,with salt with sprinkle and they come with powdered sugar too. If you're looking for a real Italian sub you hit the jackpot again order a a half Jack it's plenty big enough. Oh they also sell wine. For 25.00 they make a awsome giant cupcake stuffed with M&M's perfect for a small birthday party. I got one for my mother. I just couldn't resist

This hidden jewel is great. Known more for it's candies and pastry. Now they have sandwiches and is a very deadly spot because while you're waiting for your sandwiches you have to keep looking at the candy and pastry.

I'm writing this review as my husband and I sit here and eat our sandwiches, they are hands down the best sandwiches we have ever had! We had the Thanksgiving Turkey and Roast Beef, they are amazing and so fresh! The staff here is so nice and helpful! We will come back as many times on our vacation as we can and also when we come back to the area in the future!!! Try this place!! You won't regret it!

Best deli sandwiches I have ever had! I have tried four different kinds and all were superb. They are reasonably priced for the region and were very large. My new favorite stop.

Ohmygosh! My bf has been bringing me their sandwiches for years; however, yesterday I went into the store front for the first time. Holy smokes! They have so much to offer including quality coffees, baked goods, chocolates and candies.
I cannot wait to treat myself to lunch at r & r again soon! Delicious!!

Killer sandwiches! A bit pricey, until you see the size of them! A "half" easily feeds two people! The Captain Jack is the only one I've tried. Looking forward to trying them all but I usually stick with what I know I like. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, well stocked environment with beautiful chocolates and pastries and very nice staff. We had two rollups, turkey and roast beef, both excellent and would definitely buy again. Will be back in a few weeks!!

Our friends from S.C. were staying in Wells and found this Bistro buying a Turkey sandwich and pastrami sandwich. It was so huge (and delicious) they decided to save half for my hubby and me. Best sandwiches ever!!! Today we went there for lunch and ordered the same sandwiches to see if they would be the same? Bill ate all his pastrami but I have my other half for later tonight! I'm still so full that I may have to wait till tomorrow to finish it. We shared a bag of chips and each a bottled root beer that was fizzy and not flat like canned ones.
Saying a lot here but this place has so many goodies!!! Everything from wine to chocolate covered berries. I left with 2 butterscotch and one wintergreen stick, a salted carmel candy, a dark chocolate turtle candy , a soft salted carmel chew and a bag of strawberry twist..for $7.81! The menu is delightful, atmosphere peaceful and staff ever so friendly and helpful. R & R Candy is now on our favorite places to eat list!! P/S I am a very fussy eater and usually don't eat anything mixed in other foods but I ate that sandwich with thin apple slices, best lettuce varieties, inches thick with turkey, sliced cheddar cheese and a cranberry mayo dressing to die for!! Yum! ;)

We stopped in to get some treats for Easter. My son asked us what the cannoli shells were and I realized that he had probably never tried one. The nice lady behind the counter filled a mini one fresh for him and he immediately fell in love. Very delicious!

Very good Italian style club call 1/2 jack. It can feed 2 or 3 people. My wife's sandwich was also stuffed. Lots of desserts to choose from as well.

I had the pleasure of working with R&R bakery for my husbands birthday party. The service was outstanding and everyone enjoyed the food. I couldn’t believe how much we got at such a great price. I will definitely be using them whenever I am looking to cater or if I need a cake. Thank you R&R 😊
