Perkins Cove Candies

This candy store makes the best fudge in the world. The chocolate and penuchi are my favorites and they are unmatched anywhere. They are closed for the winter right now but I was just dreaming about their fudge. I can't wait til they re-open in April. Try the fudge, you won't be disappointed.
And there are plenty of other choices as well, also super good.

I needed a very last minute hostess gift. Perkins Cove had the perfect box of mixed chocolate treats for the right price. They are set up to mix your own assortment if you wish. My gift was very well received and I was able to sample a few myself. Delicious!

Stopped in here because I love chocolate. I bought non perells, peanut butter cups and chocolate lollipop. After sampling in my car, I almost banged a turn to go back for more! Absolutely delicious dark chocolate.. I will definitely be going back for more. Woman working was also so helpful and friendly.

I took my wife on a drive to Maine to see the leaves change and came across this place after we bought some chocolate,my said to me we need to bang a U this chocolate is amazing and completely agree,it was amazing. Thank you for making our drive so awesome,we will be back again for sure.

Something for everyone! Lots of flavors of saltwater taffy ranging from fruit to creamy flavors. Also great, is that all the chocolate offerings (haystacks, caramels, pecan clusters, etc) ALL come in milk and date chocolate options. Also a small, but good selection of gummy candies.

What a great treat while in Wells Maine. The lady at the counter was so friendly & helpful. We got to see the cutest exchange between an uncle and his nieces & nephew. I wish I had gotten pictures. A great selection of handmade chocolates & gummies.

Their chocolates are absolutely delicious no matter what your choices maybe. They are all homemade and made there. They have two other locations one on Miles Road in Wells and Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, ME

The staff was friendly, the store was super clean, and the candy was 10 out of 10! Was a great stop on our way by!

The owner Erin contacted me and couldn’t have been more gracious and apologetic. We made the return trip back today and were absolutely thrilled with the service, and even more importantly the chocolate!
The chocolates are homemade and absolutely delicious. We love the sea salt caramels which are sweet, but have the perfect saltiness from the dusting of the sprinkled sea salt. The peanut turtles are scrumptious. We can’t wait to try the mint chocolate patties which we purchased as well. My kids also love that they offer smaller candies such as tootsie rolls, tootsie roll pops, etc for 20 cents.
I would recommend making the trip for any of the above, but especially the sea salt caramels. Great store with great owners! We will be back when we are back in Maine.

Chocolate was awesome. Bought some salted carmels and white and milk chocolate nonpareil candy. Also bought a box of candy as a gift.

Some of the best candies I've ever tasted, their raspberry cream chocolate was very unique with so much flavor I could have eaten the chocolate in two sittings. But I didn't! Some salt water taffy you can tell was just bought somewhere online to be sold at tourist traps, but this was the real deal. I got a Halloween themed haunted house for $25 and I couldn't believe it was solid chocolate, I figured it was hollow!

Every kind of candy is so fresh! Usually Salt water taffy is..but this is amazing! And the peanut brittle so crunchy but not thick. And the dark chocolate pretzels..so fresh!

Love their candy. We have been buying it for the last 25 years. It's been a family tradition to stop and get candy at their Ogunquit and Wells locations while visiting ME. Highly recommended.

They have all you could wish for, every chocolate flavor, all the fillings, all the sweet candies, and even some weird custom stuff. 11/10 would definitely recommend!

The salted chocolate covered caramels are the best I have ever had. No lie! They melt in your mouth and doesn’t stick to your teeth. Yummy!!! Clean place and friendly service.

What a great little candy store in the heart of Wells Maine. The chocolate creams are very fresh and there is a large assortment the please even the most discerning of children and adults alike.

Very friendly staff. She helped us find everything we were looking for. I need to get some taffy delivered. Lol.

Stopped in and got 4 lbs assorted saltwater taffy and one lb assorted sugar free for my daughter's baby shower! Thank you for making such delish taffy!!
