Food was delicious and service was prime!! Thank you for our meal ❤❤❤ I had the chicken piccata (sub salmon for chicken) and my husband had the burger. Everything was so good, bartender mixed a perfect Paloma. We can’t rave enough about this place!

We had a fantastic experience! Service was top notch, our server was friendly and professional: her suggestions were really good. Every single dish we ordered (seafood chop salad, seafood risotto special and triple tail risotto) was phenomenal! To top it off, dessert was to die for: so many options to choose from! Highly recommend this restaurant! Best in the area

Where to start? The decoration, relaxing, wood and iron, the beautiful pictures of ocean , shores. The music is on point to enjoy a quiet and excellent meal. The food, the food was delicious. Maybe the best I've had in Englewood. Had the salmon with a risotto that I couldn't stop eating even though I was already full, addictive. Hubby had steak and loved it, and he's particular about his steak. Our server was Lisa, the nicest girl. The owner came to our table and gave us advise on the dessert. His wife is the pastry chef. They make their own ice cream!! ... Will definitely be back, not cheap but you can taste what you pay in every bite. Totally worth it.

Our first experience at Cape Haze Tavern. Place was recommended to us a year ago by an older man the guys at the golf course called “The Mayer”. Needless to say it took us a year to get there. The environment was awesome, the staff and management couldn’t have been nicer, and the food was great. We will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Cape Haze Tavern in Rotonda West last evening was so good. We had reservations but really didn’t need them . We were shown to our table by Dillon, our waiter and ordered our drinks. They came quickly and we order the special appetizer, portobello fries. OMG they were awesome. We both ordered the filet that came with mashed potatoes and spinach. I’m not a filet fan at all, but these melted in your mouth! We ordered them rare. Even though they had desserts that are made in-house, we had no room for them. All in all a great dining experience. We definitely will be back especially for the portobello fries.

This was my first visit to this new restaurant. Wow! The first thing you will notice when you walk in is that the interior design is amazing. It's a combination of comfortable casual and classy. You get the feeling like you are in another Country in Europe and you discover this cool new place tucked away and hidden. Let's talk about the food. I ordered the stuffed pepper appetizer. Absolutely delicious. For the main, I had a black and blue Ribeye that was perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare. I can't wait to go back. This is what going out is supposed to be. Great food and a mini get away!

A phenomenal restaurant with excellent good food which was extremely creatively prepared and beautifully served. Here you can enjoy delicious food that you hardly find anywhere else in a cozy friendly atmosphere with charming music and attractive interior décor.

This was our first time at the restaurant. We had the French onion soup - to die for! I had the pan seared scallops, which were cooked to perfection. My husband had the red snapper. It was good, but needed a little more flavor/seasoning for our taste. Our server was excellent - attentive, but not overbearing. The ambiance is comfortable, warm and inviting. We will definitely be going back!

First time dining here and we were so impressed! Scallops were perfectly prepared and the duck breast was delicious. The dessert selection was awesome and we loved our choice, Kiev Cake. So unique and light. Warm atmosphere and wonderful service made our evening very enjoyable. We will be back very soon!

Love the host, the service and the food. We live close by and when we have a date night, it's hard to beat this local establishment. The chef is always willing to accommodate our vegan friends if he possibly can and the prices are very good, too. The atmosphere is nice with the lower lighting and it isn't loud so you can actually talk in a normal voice unlike some of the other local restaurants. The key lime martini's are yummy, too!

Third time visiting Cape Haze Tavern and it gets better each time. Went in Saturday night and got to listen to the angelic voice of Clara Boise she is amazing and worth the drive. Tried everyone of the Tapa menu times and all were delicious. Our group moved on to the regular menu. Tried the butternut squash soup it was wonderful, the tuna tar tar delish and the lemon shrimp was the best ever eaten. Atmosphere is very warm and inviting and just perfect for a date night, ladies night out or other special occasion

Our first time visiting. Very welcoming, friendly place. The service was great. We had the duck breast and scallops. Tuna tartar appetizer was delicious. Perfect martinis. Will definitely be back.

An altogether delightful experience. We were greeted warmly, seated immediately, and the server was attentive to all of our needs. Drinks were excellent, and the food was even more fabulous than it looked (and the presentation was artful and appealing). Highly recommend!

Our first time here. We’d made a reservation but decided to eat at the bar since there were seats available.
We were greeted by a very sweet gentleman at the host station.
We met Matt the bartender. Just an all around great person, friendly, knowledgeable, fun and funny.
I ordered a cosmo that was spot on.My husband really doesn’t drink so he had a coke.
Chatted with Matt for a while then we ordered our meals.
I had the chicken piccata with pasta and fresh veggies.
My husband had the filet which was cooked to perfection. He was very happy😊
I had a delicious glass of Sauvignon Blanc that Matt recommended.
We shared an amazing Crème Brûlée and I had an espresso martini. Fabulous!!!

Highly recommend this place!! We will be back for sure!!

Our server, Gina, was definitely great tonight. There were 10 of us celebrating a friend's birthday party. The food was fantastic and I will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place! We had a large family group together in their private room, the Rabbit Hole. Matt was our bartender and server. I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed our experience there. The menu has a wide range and we were all happy with our meal, even our vegan! We are all happy to go there again anytime the occasion arises.

The ambience, the staff and the chef make this a must visit restaurant on your list in Florida! The decor of the restaurant feels like you are in a tavern! Best 2021 new restaurant
