Ahi nachos to start were incredible. Bartender was super friendly and made an excellent recommendation on our appetizer.

Main course had the Cuban and wife had the grouper sandwich.

Both were hot, fresh, delicious and large portions.

Michelle was wonderful and we will be back soon.

What a cool place!!! Took the water ferry over for $6 tons trip per person. Great place to go season, no wait. The food was good, reasonably priced. Fondue was a little different, but the sauce and tomatoes were amazing! Grouper cheek meat hit the spot.

The hamburgers were excellent fresh ground meat Awesome buns pretty flavorful. The waitress was efficient and easy-going.

Only accessible by your boat/ferry/water taxi. Going to cost a little more. Nice place for lunch. We'll be going back.
Definitely recommend to cruise your boat there. Would be nice if they had a few more parking spots for boats.... That's the only recommendation that I have.

This is an island restaurant with a wonderful island vibe. The staff are friendly and the food was delicious. This place is worth the visit!!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Take a short ferry ride out to the island, and after a very short walk, you’ll reach the restaurant. We took our family there for a dinner and order lobster, shrimp, tuna steak. Everything was absolutely fantastic and our service added to the awesome experience. Beautiful views from part of the dinning rooms. This was a great place to visit to have drinks, dinner, and great views. We can’t wait to go back.

I ate and drank here nightly for a whole week! Loved our bartender Matthew and the new guy Alex. Brandon is great at everything there, and we met a bunch of nice regulars.

The customer service is outstanding. The food and drinks are excellent. We're thoroughly enjoying our day on the island.

Lucky for you, you can only access this restaurant by water! 💦 But whether you arrive by private boat or water taxi, you’re sure to enjoy your meal! 🍽🐠🦞🦀

None of the six of us ordered the same thing, yet everyone was pleased. The calamari was taken from the body, not the tentacles or tubes and thus was especially meaty and tasty. The mahi-mahi tacos were unbelievable huge — and not because they were all lettuce — in fact there was more than enough to share. Although the blackened grouper was tasty, the portion was much smaller and easily consumed by one. Unexpectedly, they had an especially tasty BBQ—so much so that they sell their smokey sauce so you can enjoy it at home.

Downside? It wasn’t an especially friendly place for vegetarians, vegans, or those who need a gluten-free diet.

Vacation Dinner our last evening in FL (10/10/21) We took a 60 sec. car ferry across the water to get to the restaurant (NOTE! We came in from the wrong direction, lol.) However, the restaurant was great! Food was outstanding and plentiful. Not used to shrimp that meaty, tender and flavorful. Our waitress was beyond exceptional (Lauren?). Anyway.... don't miss a chance for some great food & atmosphere in a great part of old Florida!!

Nice place. Good food. The water taxi was a nice touch. Don't expect to go to the beach, though, it's all private property on the beach and restaurant guests are not allowed, despite what the waitstaff might you (or us).

We swung by here for lunch after, a morning of fishing. They have docks to tie your boat up and walk down a nice little board walk to the restaurant and bar. We had there sword fish, and Mahi Mahi. Both where really great. Will stop here next time we are boating in englewood again.

We've now been here a few times and each time it has been a great experience for our family. We visited today for a late lunch/early dinner taking our boys with us who had yet to make the trip over.

The taxi boat ride is always fun, the Captain always goes out of his way to accommodate and make sure the ride over is a good time.

Our server tonight, Melissa, was Fantastic. We can be a lot at times and often a little louder than others but with respect. She was extremely flexible while we worked thru our ordering, drinks were out quickly, apps and food as well. The food here is always well prepared and we truly enjoyed our service overall. We made sure to tip her very well for putting up with us...hahaha

Anyhow, we love making this trip out to Rum Bay, it has always been a great experience for us and plan on making many returns. thanks!!

Three weeks ago we had great difficulty getting our food. It was explained folks were new & trying to get up to speed. ThMgr. credited us 30% for the inconvenience.
Tonight the restaurant was almost full; service was quick, efficient , with rapid turn around & great attention from our server. The drinks arrived promptly & the order was taken for the hors d’hoeuvres Wed. special. Service to tables all around us was attentive, efficient and all with proper decorum!

We decided to go here on a whim. We called and they happily accommodated our group of 10.
Ryan was a fantastic server and helped us make great choices for our meals as this was our first time ever eating here. The crab boil is simply amazing as were the Rum Bay sampler, the White Pizza, and the Mahi Tacos.
The boat ride over adds to the uniqueness of the evening and we even spotted dolphins on the way back.

We went here for our anniversary and had a blast. Melissa was our server and was perfect. We solicited drink suggestions and they were perfect for us. I had a very good blackened mahi mahi sandwich and enjoyed it very much. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves!

So fun!! Great seafood!! The lobster was decadent! Highly recommend the tacos and the bartender is attentive and makes a great cocktail 🍸

Great service from Dustin, food was excellent, broccoli cooked perfectly. Butter for the bread was awesome.

We had a group of 5. Everyone got something different for the main course and we also ordered several appetizers. All of the food was well prepared and served either hot/cold as it should be. Wait staff could have been a bit more attentive as we did have to flag her down several times for refills.
Overall a good, reasonably priced on-the-water lunch stop.

From the water taxi to the food, the experience was completely enjoyable! I have read through some of these reviews and find them to be quite unfair. The employees of the restaurant were extraordinary and did everything with excellence. The food was remarkable and the kitchen staff are outstanding. The water taxi captain was an absolute delight as he allowed my son the opportunity to honk the horn on the boat. All in all, this was a great night even with a 1 yr old and a 3 year old in tow.
