Banning State Park brochure mentioned this. It was another great hike all in the woods and along the river.

Realy cool falls. Varies with the seasons. Don't just run to the river, explore the potholes in the woods.
And you can find a pothole in the rocks that goes top to bottom in the west channel if the water is low.

Absolutely gorgeous place to walk around with family plenty of space to stay socially distanced but still get to see family members. Great place for photos. it is a river so be cautious with kids.

Lots of trash at the trailhead that I picked up but the trails are fun and loop back through the forest after swinging by the stunning falls!

Make sure to bring bug repellent. Love this place!!!!! great for swimming, sun tanning, picnics, fishing, hiking, etc.

Beautiful short hike to the falls. We were there on a Monday and were almost the only ones there. Grand kids loved exploring the area.

Going backward...The Falls are amazing! It's worth the little headaches.
The path is not real clear and not for someone thatneeds help walking.
People, please do Not take 2 parking spots, just because there are no lines.
I did drive down to the lower part, not as amazing. By the time I got back, there were 4 spots open.
For the peace of the falls, I'll keep coming back!
