Owner Tim and Traci(?)are great, very accommodating! They helped me change my reservation from the camper Wolf Pup rental (yes, they can rent out a camper!) To our own spot after we decided to purchase our own. They recommended a good spot based on our preferences too. Had an issue finding water when we got in after hours but Tim helped me out through texts and we got squared away. Also had an issue with the washing machine once during the stay and They took care of the issue right away as well.
Family enjoyed the many kid friendly amenities (though the main playground had seen better days and had a loose railing..see photo on the right side...careful!) - soccer, bouncy balls, bowling pins inside the laundry area, many playgrounds, swings. Who cares if there isn't a pool...lots to do for fun!
State park camping couldn't possibly own up the amenities here, book here if you're thinking of visiting the local State Park!

Perfect campground with all the amenities. It's my go to for R&R with friends family or a relaxing weekend with my significant other. The onsite shower/restroom facilities are so convenient. I wanted to stay an extra day and get up earlier for work. The laundry room/clubhouse set up made it possible. Highly recommend for the quiet camping environment!

Pros:
-General store
-Two dump stations
-Multiple indoor bathroom & shower locations (pavilion family bathroom/ shower are nice and remodeled. Other bathroom/showers get the job done)
-Multiple playgrounds
-Basketball & volleyball courts
-Dog gated park with equipment
-Pretty quiet and people respected quiet hours
-Close to 35 and Banning State Park
-Each campsite had a table & firestone ring
-Spot 902 had lots of mature trees allowing for extra shade
-Staff were super nice
-Ran into multiple cleaning people in the bathrooms throughout the long weekend which was awesome. Felt they were cleaned well. Note, it was raining hence the mud on the floor in the bathrooms.

Cons:
-Camping spots are close in proximity to each other but pretty standard for weekend spots.

We really enjoyed our time and recommend it.

Quiet place to bring your family and friends. Area for kids to play. Shelter area to gather a big group. You can bring dogs and can have off leash time. Adult volleyball. Basketball. Go for a walk. Watch the stars at night with a camp 🔥.
You can seasonal camp. Weekend camp or tent camp. Room to enjoy the outdoors

Nice campground in a great location just over the bridge from Banning state park. There are playgrounds for the kids, a new basketball court, a game shack with various lawn bags, cornhole etc.. also a very nice little dog park that was quite popular with all the furry friends! Clean bathrooms and showers. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There are a few little cabins for rent as well that looked very cute and cozy. We enjoyed walking around the campground and the little walking trail. We stayed on a weekend and they seemed pretty full but even so it was a nice quiet campground. The staff was very nice to help us inflate our kayak as we had forgot our air pump. We definitely look forward to another stay in the the future!

Great campground. They have been open 4 years (I think). Each year the owner is making upgrades. This is the 4th year we have been here with a seasonal site. Have made some great friendships. We can ride our wheelers right out of the campground and ride the shoulder up to Rutledge and can then spend the day on the trails. Really glad we moved our camper. Give it a try.

The park is very kid and dog friendly…We had a group of 4 campers on Memorial Day weekend. It was our first time at this RV Park. The owners and the employees were awesome! We will definitely be back. Close to Banning State Park for great hiking.

Very enjoyable stay here! This place has wooded sites for tents, nice spots for travel trailers, pull through sites for the biggens, and even cabins to rent! Mosquitos come out at night but bug spray and candles help. Check out Banning State Park for some nice hiking and exploring.

Suuuuper friendly staff that runs this 3 year old (for them) operation. We rented a cabin with bunk beds. Needed electricity for medical equipment. Bunkbeds were bare minimum built, but sturdy. The end bars where one would climb up were soooo far apart, we had to find a special way up & down for my 7 year old. Rock climber style. It was ultimately too hard on her knees, we "installed" our own temporary bar, then just put her on the floor.

Ultimately, the cabins could use a little TLC ie; would have been nice to have a broom/dustpan. They may have given one if I asked. There was a mini-fridge inside. Was shocked to see that! Also, a microwave was trucked over along with a fire ring. I figured we were the 1st renters- that needed to cook with fire. So not prepared to "camp" with a microwave. It was a nice amenity, but it just became furniture.

I was most impressed with how clean they kept the bathrooms. & Even though the play equipment didn't look sturdy enough for my 9 year old, they seemed to try and keep that clean too.

Also loved how many trees, bushes and natural barriers there was here. For an RV park, this was down right woodsy!😁 Gift shop, check-in office was cute.

I've only spent a couple of days and knew it was the best fit for me to date so I bought the rest of this season for my RV. Though I move around a lot it's nice to have key locations where I can go anytime that is welcoming and I feel comfortable. One of the best RV campground stores I have seen! 😎
