Willard Munger Trailhead - Hinckley

Great trail! Well maintained.

Great trail going to Duluth, trail path needs resurfacing rough in spots,but what a great way to travel by bicycle, no car traffic, Beautiful scenic ride on my way to Grand Marais

I've recorded otters, beaver, coyotes turkeys eagles, a mountain lion

Nice bike trail, perfectly flat and straight. Little or no facilities on the trail.

Southern trailhead. 13-14 miles to Findlayson. Beautiful scenery for being the straightest section of trail in the state, also very flat. I agree with previous rider in saying sections are very bumpy with cracks in the pavement. They need to improve. Will continue to complete the trail.

Beginning in Hinckley, west of highway 61 over the tracks. To 2nd Street Northwest or county road 18. Also known as Dahl road. Within a block on the right is a Asphalt Trail and has a bridge over Grindstone River. Then heading north from Hinckley parking lot. Very scenic and a different look of the countryside. The trail goes farther north passed Duluth, Minnesota.

A nice dedicated spot to park your car while you go out and hit the trail. Located alongside highway 3 outside of Hinkley Minnesota the road is fairly busy so it seems relatively a safe place to park a car

Ample parking and easy access to trail.

Started out at the Hinckley trailhead. No question of it’s scenic beauty however, if you don’t mind asphalt ridge bumps every 10-12 feet or so, this trail is worth checking out. (FYI-The bumps were significant enough to ring my bell each time) Will not return

It's a beautiful ride, but the trail is very bumpy.

Can be sketchy at night
