Chi-Chi's Charred Chicken

I visited Chattanooga for a week for work. The training was downtown, and I was not very familiar with this area.

I did a quick restaurant search for places that served grilled chicken and found Chi-Chi's Charred Chicken was only about 3 blocks.

I'm glad I did! This place is very clean, the staff was very friendly and the food portions were large for the price!

This restaurant has only been open about a month, but give it a try. I don't think that you will be disappointed!

I visited Chi-Chi's Charred Chicken last night and had a wonderful culinary experience, despite the initial impression of the dimly lit interior. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the chicken wings, which were perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. Alongside, I ordered a side of fries that did not disappoint; they were double-fried to crispy perfection. While the ambiance could use a little brightening up, the food more than made up for it. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, though I might opt for takeout to enjoy these delicious dishes at home!

New place open downtown. I had a wrap and it was good. The Mexican corn was yummy! The staff is very nice. It was empty on Mother's Day a little after noon, but looks like it could be the happening place during the evening. I recommend checking this place out.

Great little spot downtown. Food delicious and service was great. You get a lot of food for the $$. Got the half chicken with 2 sides for $12. We devoured it. Shout out to Chuy for providing another great restaurant in Chattanooga. Keep em coming bro.

This is going to be my go to lunch spot. The wings are really good with fantastic flavor. The half chicken is probably the best I've had in Chattanooga. The char on it is awesome. The sauce it comes with has some kick with a ton of flavor. The amount of food you get with the half chicken and 2 sides for the price is really good. I work a couple blocks away and I'll be doing lunch here a lot. You can't go wrong here.

Wow, food is delicious. I got the half chicken, street corn, and sweet potato fries. Large portions, fairly priced, clean. Will be back.

Very good food! Got the haft chicken with mash potatoes and Mac & cheese. Quite a hefty portion for the price! Chicken was excellent as well as the sides. Came with some corn tortillas and some salsa. The little bit of extra heat from the salsa brought it all together very well! Owner was super chill guy and very friendly to talk to!Would definitely recommend!

Great spot that I hope gets busier and stays open. It deserves all the business. The 1/2 chicken was fantastic, fall off the bone delicious and well seasoned. I'll definitely be going back.

Great new spot downtown! Tried their half chicken (10/10) and lemon pepper wings (10/10), both incredibly delicious. Their hot sauce is great too ! Service was exceptional, making it a definite addition to our go-to takeout options for quick and satisfying dinners!

Immediately greeted with a nice smile unlike most places nowadays. The service was great and the food was just as good. Didn’t have to wait long and the price of the food is more than fair. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Very good half chicken, the sweet potato fries were very good. The sauce was pretty hot but good. Seemed to be missing something bc it was like it was just heat. My son ate all of his mac n cheese! They don't really do table service unless I was just late coming in which is probable bc they turned the sign off while I was eating.

This spot is perfect for a quick, satisfying lunch on the go. The portions are reasonable, and the chicken is shockingly tender—it practically falls off the bone, even with plastic utensils. The sides are always hot and fresh. Walk in, order, and within 3 minutes, you're walking out with a hot plate

I am trying to introduce this place to as many people as possible... I want it to be around a long time. I've visited three times and I've had the 1/2 chicken every time and it has been perfectly cooked, tender, not dry in the slightest, and very flavorful.

Honestly the best chicken rotisserie style chicken I have ever had. There is flavor in every single bite. The sides are great. It’s an absolute necessity to go here

Came in for a quick lunch , paid my tab and it was ready ! If you ever need a fast lunch in the Downtown area 👏 1/2 chicken has so much flavor !
