East Bank Center

I have had several family members at East Bank Center over the years. The care is great, the food is good, and the staff are very nice. They treat you like family.

I first got to know East Bank back 2013 when my developmentally disabled little sister first needed short-term rehab. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of her care and the genuine, loving atmosphere of the ENTIRE staff. Each time Angie needed rehab East Bank was the ONLY facility I would let care for her.
Fast forward to 2021 and I had a work related injury that would require extensive rehabilitation. I chose East Bank as my facility and for the six weeks I was there received the very best care as well. Everyone from nursing staff to housekeeping made me feel like a guest at an upscale 5-star resort while I recovered with help of the highly skilled and enthusiastically caring rehab staff. Just the fact that many of the staff have been there for years and not months speaks volumes. Personnel come to work there and fall in love with the atmosphere of the center. As a result calls are answered quickly and the entire facility is spotless.. The food is amazing and the dishes are made-from-scratch.
I got better far earlier than was expected due to the exceptional rehabilitation I received. So now, in 2022, when my partner required rehab services after a stroke there was only ONE option - East Bank Center!

I am not one to leave reviews but East Bank definitely deserves to be recognized for the great work they do. My grandma has been a patient a couple of times over the last few years. I also know of other people who have been patients in the past and loved it. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. My grandma is very social so it was nice to see when visiting her that when a nurse would walk by her room they would either wave going by or stop just for a quick second just to say hi and ask how she was doing even if they weren’t her staff for the day. Thanks East Bank.

I have been here three times this year. I love the complete staff and nurses. The food is awesome. I’m positive that everyone that works here has a smile under that mask they are wearing. Even the cleaning crew does a fantastic job. I am extremely happy with my stays and the knowledge everyone here has. I would recommend East Bank Center to ANYONE that needs this type of service. Even the office personal go beyond what they need to make me happy.. that’s the truth. I am also glad that East Bank Center is close to home. The nurses and staff were friendly and very nurturing. The therapists are excellent and very inspiring to get you back to your your life. I have been there 3 times for different surgeries and have had excellent results for all 3 stays. With East bank and Dr. Boutros I have a whole new lease on a pain free life. Being on a specific diet the nutritionist also took care of me with all my nutritional needs and also tasting good,how strange is that. I have one procedure left and won't hesitate to go back or to take good care of my loved ones. Thanks to all of them I am in the best shape I have been in for several years. Joe

This place is definitely a 5 of 5 star location in my honest opinion. My stepdad was treated with the highest level of kindness, patience and professionalism at the East Bank Center. The nurse practitioner, Chenin Rude did an outstanding job with communicating with me on my stepfather’s progress and that is deeply appreciated. Abby and Nicole were always very pleasant and helpful with bringing my understanding of not only how the East Bank Center operates, but also informing me of different options that could help my family make more informed decisions. I not only observed my family member being treated with genuine care, but also other patients. I don’t recall everyone’s names, but all of the Occupational Therapist and Physical therapist have my deepest appreciation and I thank you for being so informative during the meeting we had together. I was just released from East Bank Center yesterday 11/25/22.
Yes I was nervous when I arrived 3 weeks ago. That feeling was gone with in the hour. I felt at home, that's just how they made me feel.
From admin to the CNA'S , hell even house keep, the kitchen staff.. I am so pleased with the PT& OT staff as well. I 1 must make this perfectly clear, if you really want to heal, you must put in the effort. The outcome is so wort it. I THANK EVERY ONE AT EBC for taking time out of their lives to make sure mine is fulfilled to my potential.

This is a great place for recovery from surgery and your therapy, I met such kind people there, as well as a very nice patients . I would recommend this place to anyone who needs any kind of therapy, they are the best. I have been there twice, and I was really impressed with the food they served, and the kind treatment I received. also I would like to personally like to thank all staff members, office members, kitchen, and housekeeping. I would recommend eastbank center to anyone. Staff Is wonderful therapy is this awesome. The rooms and the whole place is very clean. The food is amazing. And I also love that it's pet friendly. My little dogs got to come up here. And I thought that was very nice. I been here 3 times And each time I had a very good stay... i would recommend it to my friends and family. I also had very good nurses made sure my pain level was under control. I also loved playing games. Like bingo. Also watching movies. Sarah Littlejohn.

This facility is wonderful. It was a blessing to come here for therapy. The staff alway knew what was wrong and how to fix it, therapy was able to fix my muscle pains so I can be ready for surgery. Nurses and CNA took great care of me, I got my meds on time, and always got a special lunch ready for me to take to dialysis. Everything went smooth at east bank and now I’m able to go home feeling great.

Having recently retired at the ripe old age of 68, finding a rehab facility was very low on my to-do list, until the "iceman" got me in mid-February. With a fractured femur, I suddenly needed to find a short-term facility that could get me back in shape to go home, where I live alone. Enter East Bank: I knew several people who had loved ones there, and I had friends or colleagues who had received services there. With luck, I was able to get in.

From the moment I arrived, where I was greeted by the administrator, the CEO, and other professional staff, I had extremely good vibes. I was not disappointed! From the dining room staff, to the CNA's, Nurses, and front office, this is a facility that offers you instant confidence in your care. Therapy (both physical and occupational) was outstanding, and I want to especially recognize Kealy and John who were so caring, helpful and professional. John even came one morning at 6:40 am to insure that I could handle my morning tasks correctly!

Top to bottom, I was given the best of care by a staff of very special people who have continued to follow up with me after my discharge. Thank you, East Bank! Words cannot express my gratitude.

My grandma was always in and out of the hospital but whenever they asked her where she wanted to go, she always picked East Bank Center to recover! The staff was always wonderful with her and kept us updated on all of her activities! I still speak to a few staff members even after my grandma has passed away.

East Bank staff is the BEST; from Housekeeping to the top brass. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The therapy department was outstanding. The food was fantastic with a great variety. I would highly recommend East Bank to everyone.

Been here five times, and they are THE BEST REHAB center in Rockford. I know everyone says van meter, but I’ve been to Van meter, and first off they only give you two weeks to get better and let’s say I saw the floor, a lot. Here, they have become family. They actually care about their patients. And they, the pts and ots, do great work. I’m always in way better shape than when I arrive, and which the body and medical conditions I have, trust me that’s an accomplishment. Nurses care, are knowledgeable, CNAs are helpful and sweet, and dr. Disanti and the current np, whom forgive me I don’t know her name, work with you. And as for the administration, from Abby to Edna to Anna, all are amazing. Foods good too.

East Bank Center provides the kind of quality care that can only come from truly caring individuals. The staff is attentive and nurturing and work for their patients as if they were all family. I have trust in this facility and in the employees here.

A huge thank you for the wonderful care and staff the center has. They literally saved my mother. The admissions , the nursing staff, the Dr, and food are all 5 star to my famy and mother. She has been here two times and has another stay coming up. I wouldn't put her anywhere but here. If you have a family member that needs rehab this would be the only place I would put my family. East bank center has helped me learn how to walk again and became a second family all at the same time. I would recommend this facility to everyone who is need of rehab. They know how to cook well and make patients happy and that's the truth

East Bank has been a wonderful facility. My mom has been there a few times over the last couple years. The staff and therapists are awesome. If one has to have rehabilitation this is the best place to have it.

This is a 5-star facility in just about every way: friendly and caring staff; meeting and exchanging info with other patients; food that can't be beat and therapy that has literally renewed me. Everyone working to one goal . . . to return us home having dealt with our specific problem. I came in six weeks ago, two days after a below the knee amputation and tomorrow I'll be walking out !
