Such a happy place to eat! The owner/chef personally delivers your meal and checks back to make sure it was exactly what you ordered. The smash burgers are our new favorite! HUGE handmade burger with all the toppings for $5. The Peli Cheesesteak Nachos are a close second. Finish off your meal with hand dipped ice cream!

This place is a hidden gem! They have the most amazing smash burgers! One of the best I’ve ever had. A great family place that serves ice cream, milkshakes, shaved ice, hotdogs, and much more. Great place to stop on the way to the beach or the lake. Located right in the middle of Melrose, Fl.

I stayed at an Airbnb on lake Santa Fe for a few days, and had to stop in at the Pelican every day to get a shaved ice sno cone. They are a fantastic summer treat! I also tried the onion rings, which were homemade and delicious. I highly recommend this local spot— the quality of their food is phenomenal!

Best Burger by far! They also had a phenomenal banana pudding ice cream.

The best burgers around. And the Parmesan fries are amazing. Great owners and staff. Worth the trip to Melrose, even if you live in Gainesville, Palatka, Starke, etc.

Absolutely amazing. The food and service are top notch! Best burgers and dogs I've had in a very long time. The staff is always friendly and happy to to see their customers happy.

The food is delicious!

Grilled cheese was nice and crispy and cheesy. The tater tots were yummy and crispy. I had the garlic parmesan coating. I went another day and had the ice cream. It was great! Way better than any other places in Melrose or Keystone Heights.

Been there twice had to wait 35 minutes the first time and waited for 45 minutes today just for a burger. They are smash mouth so they should take long to cook . If you have nothing but time on your hands then go wait for a burger they are good once you get it
