Fryer's Chicken

I always try to stop by and get food when I'm in or passing through Melrose! The food is so delicious. After ordering, I was able to pay before I got to the window. One of the workers came to my vehicle. I thought that was awesome.

Best fried chicken by far! I have been going here for years because when I want chicken that's always cooked to perfection, this is the spot! I also experienced their Turkey sandwich and it is amazing as well.. oh and their mushrooms... I could go on and on with the raves but I will say to check them out for sure!

We eat here every week. The giblets are the best. There is also an area outback with picnic tables away from traffic where one can enjoy some scenery. This establishment is Real chicken! Employees are always courteous, booths are well kept up. We love Fryers’.

Yes yes.... get the chicken. But don't ignore the burger and cheese sticks. The fritters are crispy and worth every calorie. A great meal from a great place.

This is a small diner but chicken & sides are good! Took a motorcycle ride from St Augustine for lunch with friends. Some booths inside to dine in or 2 outdoor tables. Plenty of parking. Fast service.

Been coming to Fryer's for decades. They used to have multiple locations, but that was ages ago. Still worth the drive from Gainesville! Best fried chicken around!!

To die for fried chicken, gizzards, fritter and onion rings. Coming back from Jacksonville I stopped. Used to live in Melrose. Now I'm going to have to go back. Great prices and service! A+++

For our July 4th party we wanted to have fried chicken . We called manager Ryan at fryers chicken to order 150 pcs of chicken, 2 gallons of bbeans,potatoe salad. Was super excited when I arrived and fryers crew had order ready ,packaged and helped load it in my truck.Everyone at our party loved the food and raved about fryers Awesome tasting chicken. Highly recommend Fryers for great fried chicken!!

Very good fried chicken. Extra crispy batter. Super moist and tender. Tasty. Fries are meh. Service was excellent. Friendly. Everyone is smiling. And the chicken was great! We will be back!

Finally, a place not too far for some AMAZING fried chicken!! Even though we have to drive close to an hour, it has been great. This was our 2nd trip. We brought friends on a motorcycle ride this time. They all agree Fryer’s should be added to our rotation. As we were about to order, the manager was trying to calm a customer that was dissatisfied with a previous order apparently? It got loud and uncomfortable, but the manager maintained his composure. Later, he came out to the picnic tables where we were eating to make sure we enjoyed our food and to apologize. Stand-up guy. This made a great impression. Thank you for a great lunch.

I had the Roast beef wrap and added bacon and cheese (a friend's suggestion) and it was amazing. I normally get the chicken tender wrap or the shrimp wrap both amazing.

Amazingly fast and friendly service. Chicken was crispy AND juicy. Love the fritters.

The service and food was great. Will be going back real soon. If you haven't eaten there y'all should give it a try.♥

Some of the best fried chicken in the South. Try the deep fried okra. Dine in, drive through, takeout. Picnic tables in the back lot.
