Big Trees Market

We lived 1 mile down the road for about a year. This place is a gem. Dave and Ellie are absolutely great folks and the market has all the essentials: grocery staples, household products, cold beer and treats, even movie rentals. In the back of the store, there are chairs and card tables for board games or eating lunch. During the cold times, they always have a gloriously inviting pellet stove burning which makes it a great place to lounge for a bit.

Also, Dave often has a lot of decent refurbished tools, furniture, electronics, and even vehicles for sale out in front of the store.

We miss Volcano dearly, and we have very fond memories of taking our small children down to Big Trees Market.

Good store to buy snacks on highway 88. Dave and Aline are the friendly owners that will give you directions or the best places to have a meal.

It's a good place to get small things so you don't have to drive down the hill
