Michael O. Stutts, OD

This week I had my first appointment with Dr. Stutts. I have worn glasses the majority of my 55 years and have seen quite a few optometrists. I have never had an eye doctor explain my eyes so thoroughly. I've always had high pressure in my eyes but no reason given as to why. Dr. Stutts took the time to explain in detail why. He also showed me the pictures they took of my eyes and went over everything that might be concerning now and in the future. I've never had an eye doctor so diligent in making sure I had the best understanding about my eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Stutts. He's not only thorough but he is also extremely kind. His staff is amazing too!

I've been seeing Dr. Stutts for 18 years! He is a GREAT doctor! He takes him time with you and really cares about his patients! I recommend his office 100%!!

The staff were personable and friendly, as was the doctor. I could have sat and talked with Jane all day. I felt right at home.

Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. My only complaint is sometimes the wait is long.

We as a family have been seeing Dr. Stutts for 11 years but I was shocked at the non compassionate way I was told that my son could not get a trial pair of contacts because I’ve never ordered any!!! First year contact fitting I got a trial box he was 13 and did not manage them well so I decided not to buy them the staff person didn’t bother to ask why I have not ordered any. I just think with all the options available and my longevity with the practice, the well being of a child patient should lead them to consider a trial pair so that he can be comfortable in school. I am very disappointed and am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere!

He could use some red bull but he is awesome in his speciality. Very caring. Love his smile.

Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance because they were supposedly booked up. Appointment was at 10am around 10:15 I noticed no one else was there and the exam should definitely had begin. I asked the secretary if Stutts was even there and she says “no, but he’s on his way” so I leave and come back around 11 and he’s still not there. They just keep saying he’s on his way. Mind you I would have been sitting there for over an hour looking crazy if I hadn’t asked if he was there. They then go on to tell me I can reschedule for 3 weeks later! The front staff take no responsibility and says they can’t make Stutts come in! Sickening! Stutts is getting too old and it may be time for him to retire. I’ve been going to this optometrist for the last 6 years and will never go back or suggest to anyone.
