Republic Services

Have had excellent service with republic. Can pay bill online quarterly and they also do text updates on delays on pick up. If I've ever had issue, customer service always answer their phone and have dealt with any issues and pick up trash weekly. You have option to have trash picked up one or twice a week.

After recently dealing with the a dominate waste competitor out there, I appreciate the service and customer care that Republic Services provide - especially their local rep. Jeff H. They are reliable and actually have knowledgeable people on the other side of the phone line! I understand that this is also a large company with many locations but they do their job. I fear that one day we will find out that the largest waste company has bought out everyone else - leaving us with with below average service & forced to pay what they set etc.

I walk my dogs and picking up trash in my neighborhood and had accumulated two small grocery bags of trash. I saw the garbage man going down the alley and he said I could put the trash in the truck.
The Republic workers are always kind, helpful and respectful to me. I am an old lady.
I also was in Walmart a few days ago and a young man in a Republic Service vest let me go first. So very considerate.

My initial phone call was to a local resource in Bloomington, IL for Republic Services, Renee who told me to reach out to Jeff. I called and as I was leaving my voicemail for him he was already returning my call!

I have great things to say after speaking with Jeff Holt, Construction Account Manager!

He acted quickly and professionally resolving a scheduling issue for an upcoming job site, not only did he listen but followed up and got the appropriate persons to contact me for a quick resolution. I was very impressed with the level of customer care that I received today. Thank you Jeff!

I owned a motel in rural IL for over 16 years. We had Republic Services for our trash disposal. During this long association there were times when we needed to reach out to their office staff. I as the business owner do not remember if any of their staff members let us down ever! Among them all I was greatly impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of one lady out of their Springfield office - Ms. Brittany McLaughlin. Brittany always did her best and beyond, and saw that our requests were met in timely manner. If it was something that she did not handle personally then she would ask the concerned people to reach out to us and then follow up with us! Of all our vendors Republic Services in general and Ms McLaughlin in particular would top the list for top reviews! Our thanks to everyone at Republic Services. We enjoyed working with you guys!

Jeff Holt of Republic Services handled management of our numerous requests for a roll-off container, the pickup, dump & return over an extensive period of time. Jeff always made me feel I/WE were very important customers; got the services done expeditiously and had such good humor👍
His people are out at 2am each day, checking all the mechanicals of their machinery, readiness, and preparing to face the challenges no matter how cold it is or how early they report.
We have watched the transition from 3 person pick-up trucks to use of the precise, delicate lift arm of a single person truck. ALL of these warriors have US in mind as they carry out these tough jobs.

We had an unusual situation affecting our recycle. I made a call to Republic, but the recorded phone service, when I chose option 5 "other issues" transferred me to a man located in Indiana who said that Republic Services couldn't help me. A wonderful local female city employee called for me to the local Republic Services number, and Springfield Republic Services took care of our problem within 45 minutes!! Also, we have never had an issue that wasn't resolved quickly with trash or Recycling, and the drivers are fantastic.

The crew at Republic Services goes above and beyond to meet our dumpster requests for our VERY BUSY and everchanging contractor schedule. Jeff Holt has a great sense of humor that helps eliminate my stress when things change last minute. The drivers are courteous of customers' property and very willing to accommodate customer time frames. Thank you for making our job easier!! We also use them for trash can pick-up at our office.

Jeff Holt and Robbie Tittle are awesome to work with! We rent many dumpsters per year from Republic and these two are at the top of their game. When we need dumpster services in their territories, I don't call any other company because I know that they will do whatever it takes to get us what we need in the timeframe we need it...most of the time with very little notice. Both of them are very responsive, professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Republic services you have some great drivers /workers. just witnessed a driver stop and pick up a large fallen tree branch that I forgotten to put on the curb for yard waste. going the extra mile in service quality. Will definitely consider your services when my other contract expires

Our church used Republic Services for the demolition of an 80 year old gas station we purchased next door. It involved asbestos containing material and a total of (12) large construction dumpsters to haull off the debris. We worked with Jeff Holt. Repulic and Jeff were great to work with and guided us through the whole process. Would definitely use them again.

I have worked with Republic Services for many years. I appreciate the attention to detail that they continuously provide. Being in the construction industry there are always last minute needs and our representative Jeff Holt is always on it; helping us out of a bind, supplying the needed paperwork or just providing quotes in a timely manner. The way he takes care of us shows he appreciates the business.

Jeff Holt is amazing to work with. Professional and friendly service that never disappoints. The fact that I can call Jeff and he answers or calls me back immediately makes it an effortless experience when ordering Special Waste Containers for Asbestos Abatement. Keep up the great work Jeff.

Great service, competitive prices and excellent customer service. Free recycling, no separation required. I had a problem with my first bill, called in, and had it taken care of within minutes. I thought I had a problem with my second bill and called in, only to find out that I had read the wrong line on the bill and only owed 30 cents. The rep credited the thirty cents because it was less than the cost of a stamp. I don't know what this fool means by unresponsive!

They'll pick up yard waste so long as you've bought pre-stamped bags or picked up a city stamp for whatever bags you do decide to use.

Finally, every now and again, they come through my neighborhood while I'm on my lunch break. My wife and I have both seen them, on many several occasions, stop the truck, run behind her house and grab her trash bins, and haul them to the truck. My neighbor is an elderly lady who can probably barely remember it's garbage day, let alone drag her own trash to the curb. That's just good service, plain and simple.

This company has always responded to my problems - even when they're not real - and I haven't spent more than a few minutes on hold. They not only provide the service, but go out of their way to make peoples' lives easier. And that's something rare to find in any company, let alone a garbage disposal company.

In short, I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this company, which is rare. When I'm compelled to write a good review about something so mundane as a waste disposal company, you can bet it's worth considering. One of the other reviews is 4 years old, and Matt is just dead wrong about the yard waste. Have no idea what he means by "unresponsive," since they've always been quickly responsive to me. I can only imagine he cut down a tree and tried to argue that they should haul it away.

I am the manager for JPJ Realestate Inc. We have over 20 houses signed up for trash service for the last 9 years.Jeff Holt takes care of customer service. He is the best we ever had. We get lg dumpsters too. Best service ever no matter what is needed. Price is the best also.

Service has always been good to us. I had called to schedule a missed pickup due to forgetting to put out the trash one morning. The woman I spoke to was very courteous and even had the charge waived as a courtesy pick up. Very quick and very impressed with the service overall.
