Secret Cove Beach

This is an incredibly beautiful beach. I wouldn’t come here to go swimming, but I would definitely come here to take pictures and just take in the amazing views. There is a lot of rock so make sure you have shoes. We came here to watch the sunset and we were not disappointed.

This is pretty easy to find if you look at the pictures from the reviews. It’s basically in between a wall with an entryway. You have to do a small climb down, but then your instantly on the beach this place can get crowded depending on the season. it’s highly popular because of how beautiful it is.

This spot is very easy to miss. Drive slow so you can see the entrance. It’s a real great place to visit. There are two pools of water. There was a local guy that was jumping from the top of one of the rock formation on the left side. I’m a great swimmer but the tide was really rough and the rocks are really sharp. I wouldn’t jump.

Now the little swimming pools they were fun to dip in.

Beautiful hidden gem that is no longer so much hidden. A lot of wedding photographers take their customers here and if it’s 7 couples , considered it crowded. We went early morning to get a decent spot to take my birthday photos, and had a great time; not to mention the amazing views!

One of the most beautiful hidden beaches! I expected it to be more crowded because it is close to the major tourist area, but there was hardly anyone there when we went.

The secret cove is easy to miss because it is ducked off between a few homes, but once you find it, you will be glad you did. There are a few rocks right at the entrance, so getting down to the beach might be a bit of a challenge for someone with physical limitations.

I can't stress how beautiful this place is. And peaceful. We went twice. Around 9am and then again around 5pm. Both time were equally gorgeous. Obviously, the afternoon was more crowded. If you visit this place, please be respectful to the locals & environment. Pick up your trash!

Beautiful place to visit with a loved one. The surf is much to rough for children to swim. This is a small beach which one can only access by climbing down to it.

Reach there early.
Very cool secluded corner with palm trees and secret entry! Parking is limited, people just park nearby.
Secret entry to the beach, between the walls there is a space to walk in.
Definitely you will find families taking pictures during sunrise.

Small beach. Limited parking. Excellent for taking family or engagement photos.

Pay Attention!
This beach was mostly swept away during the last historic south swell. It’s currently a lagoon and could take years for the sand to return completely. Don’t plan weddings at this spot until you’re sure it’s a beach again.

Avoid the crowds and enjoy your love ceremony on the teeny tiny sandy spot on the left side of the beach.

This is the place to go for beautiful views of sand and surf. Hidden away but wow what a great place to hang out once you find it!

Street parking, small beach but picturesque. Good to put your feet in but not great for swimming.

Great beach. Just past Makena look for a gap in the stone wall.

The location is weird, just behind of a wall but if you go ahead, you’ll find the paradise! Be careful with the high tides there’s not too much beach.

Beautiful little gem, white sand and peaceful magic. Go early, parking is very limited.

Best beach in Maui in my opinion. It’s quiet, relaxing and the water is crystal clear.. we even saw whales!

The best place for photos! We came on a cloudy morning (around 10ish) and the photos turned out amazing!

Got married here 13 years ago and visited again just recently with the kids. Love this quiet, chill spot! ❤
