SERC Physical Therapy

Good ol knee replacement....the first day I met Colin. Nice guy...but as I found out as we went along...very knowledgeable, persistent, encouraging and always had another trick up his sleeve to get my knee where he wanted it.
Then there's Greg. First day I met him he told me with a knee replacement...no pain, no gain. That's how we trained. Found the spots that needed hands on care, very effective.
Erin completed the PT staff. So caring, but don't mistake that for letting you slack. She was always pulling new exercises to strengthen my entire core, buttocks and legs. Yes, we worked on both knees. Complete care.
So with all 3 working as a team, I think I made great strides in getting my knee back to functioning properly. The front staff, Rhiannon was always friendly and helpful in making appointments.
The funny thing is...I'm excited to get my other knee replaced and get back with the SERC band to rehab again.

Great therapists! Collin was my main therapist and had great listening skills for my issues. He had a plan and gave great explanations and feedback. Erin filled in a few times and again, great communication. Appreciate their service!

When my doctor suggested physical as a measure to avoid surgery, he suggested SERC. While not excited at the prospect of PT, I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually enjoyable. I worked with Colin and Erin. They are both friendly and caring! From Colin's first assessment to my last appointment, they pushed me to work to get better and were very encouraging. Unfortunately, I will still talk to a surgeon, but that's not at all on them. My pain hasn't lessened, but my ankle and foot is much stronger than it was before PT. I am very thankful I went to SERC! If I have surgery, I'd like to go back to SERC for the follow-up PT!

I am very pleased with SERC! I went in with neck pain! I was VERY unsure as to what could be done for my neck! Over the years I learned ways to help with back pain, but the neck pain was getting unbearable and I didn’t know what to do. Collin was very patient with me! After the first visit I was pain free! That is something for me! Living with chronic pain is not living! I look forward to learning more on how to keep the pain away!

I’ve had the opportunity to be involved with SERC since Jan. 2023 for 2 different issues. The staff overall provides the very best they have to offer. They are efficient and effective. They want the best for each client and help each person to attain their goals as best that person can. It can certainly be stressful but the therapists assist you in working through it. I worked with Colin and Erin mostly. They know exactly what to do! Amazing and always compassionate. Lydia has the front side together. Delightful folks!

Colin is a first rate physical therapist! He
listens, is caring and will tell you straight out what he thinks and how you are doing.
Lydia is the best front desk person. She will work with your schedule and helps qyou rearrange appointments. They are the best!

Colin was so helpful in showing me how to relieve my dizziness. Great exercises and so very kind. Facility was clean and inviting. Easy scheduling appointments. Highly recommend!!

SERC North is the complete package for diagnosis, treatment and follow up. I had to travel a lot between Springfield and Auburn Indiana. I was given a treatment plan that allowed me to travel and work on my rotator cuff issue. Colin was great and so was his team.

I received 3 months of physical therapy at SERC BlueSprings North and had the most amazing team of PT’s! Let me begin with Lydia, no matter when I called to cancel or re-schedule she was professional and pleasant. She was the first and the last person I saw. There was Colin, Stevee, Sarah, and Brenden. Excellent with communicating each new therapy and how to complete the exercise at home. The results of the sessions challenged me to use my strength to continue the healing process! I’m very grateful for each therapist who taught me techniques and safe strategies to assist with the process toward better physical health!

I would suggest anyone to SERC Physical Therapy. The responded quickly to my initial call to set up an appointment. My physical therapist Collin was fantastic and understood my limits. They learned my scheduling habits so well that they even called me when I had a later afternoon appointment to make sure that wasn't a mistake because all my other appointments were at 7am.

I had an unfortunate snowboarding accident resulting in an evulsion and tearing of my tricep. The orthopedic surgeon told me that I could do surgery where they would have to detach and reattach my tricep. He said it might work, but it would take a year to rehab. I prayed and found Micah in Blue Springs who seemed like the first person to actually care after 2 different docs, visiting some other non caring physical therapy facility, and researching a number of options. The staff was so great I actually started looking forward to treatment. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Today, I regularly work out and sometimes forget that I had the accident. It took 4 months to get back what surgery may or may not have restored. I have my full strength back, thank God. Don’t look anywhere else. This team is the best. I don’t wish for anyone to get hurt, but when life happens, go to Serc in Blue Springs N.

First time coming in and now at my 2 weeks and let me tell ya, Micah my therapist is very smart and nice as can be. I can relax with comfort because I can tell he is well educated in his job! The receptionist Brooks is also a sweetheart and does her job well. I highly recommend this place as they make you feel at home and comfortable like family. They care deeply about their patients. I'm currently going through my first PT treatment plan..and I'm so glad I found this clinic! Best. Staff. Ever. The first time I called and spoke with Michelle I knew I'd be in good hands. Micah and Allison are genuine, sympathetic and really care about their patients' success. Shout out to Micah who deals with my anxiousness like a pro. He is one of the only health care providers I've had that actually listens to my concerns...and then fixes them 😂 Thanks guys 😊

Collin is great! I was struggling with pain for months until PT. Collin worked with me each week, and in a matter of a few weeks, my pain has subsided. I am confident that after being his patient, I have the tools and resources to work through it at home if need be.

Micah and Michelle are true professionals, and masters of their craft’s. This team genuinely cares about you and will ensure you meet, if not exceed your PT goals. No BS, the road to recovery is stressful and a long story short, prior to meeting this team I was not optimistic about my own recovery. My first day, Micah was able to tell me more about why I was having specific issues stemming from my injury and began utilizing treatment methods to correct said issues which immediately gave me a sense of relief. It’s been a trek, but with their help I’ve continuously made improvements and could not have asked for a better experience.

On week 11😱 of therapy for extensive shoulder repair and so glad Dr Wesley Frevert recommended this particular clinic for my issue. I am making good progress and with encouragement and the patience from Micah; it is allowing me to work at my aged pace and get stronger and better motion than I thought possible. Allison, Michelle and Micah make it a place to look forward to going even though it is hard work! Conversation is allowed and there are mental riddles to challenge your mind! The atmosphere in general is a delight with laughter and sharing. The time goes faster and the challenges of moving an old body around to meet the goals seems easier with their professional and caring techniques. I would recommend anyone of any age to have therapy at this clinic!

I completed a program at this location with Micah after being in a car accident. I was a collegiate athlete and had very high standards of physical therapy. Once I began working with Micah it became very apparent he and his staff cared not just about helping me get to my previous form, but also help me maintain it after the program was completed. While going through my visits Micah and his staff made such an impact that they were able to also help my wife. She had been in a car accident a year prior and consistent chiropractic appointments. After she went through treatment her back has healed as well. If you have any concerns about physical therapy, rest assured that you are in good hands. I never wish anyone ill-will or injury, but when it happens this is the place to go to recover the right way. If it weren’t for Micah and his team I can say that my wife and I will still be dealing with our ailments. Thank you Micah and team, whom took a terrible situation and made it into a amazing, memorable experience.

Excellent customer service. Micah is a phenomenal therapist and ensures that your needs are met. Michelle is always cheerful and very attentive to each persons scheduling needs. The treats were a delicious bonus! I have referred several people because of the super experience I received. Thank you both very much!

SERC the staff is amazing 🤩 they make you feel like family. Always good conversation & everyone who’s there is part of the group no matter if it’s your 1st visit or your tenth.
