I just checked out after an emergency gallbladder removal. They took such good care of me from the emergency check-in staff through patient admittance and finally surgery. ER staff gave me a recliner in a largely private section, medicine to tie over my symptoms until I could be seen by a surgeon the next morning and fluids to help me until I could see a doctor. They checked on me a few times to make sure my pain was at an acceptable level for me. They laughed at my really bad late night jokes. There was not a single staff member, and I dealt with about 15 of them for different portions of my service, that I was disappointed with. All had good attitudes made me feel safe, heard, and important. They took me seriously… conducted a thorough review of labs and ultrasound to see what was going on. It was personally hard to elect to go to the ER because I was not an extreme pain, or bleeding, or hurt by another person, or crash. It was a lot of pressure in my sternum and back shoulder blades. I felt a little embarrassed because I know there’s so many people in extreme pain. Even the registration desk and the lady that took my insurance information were kind, respectful, funny, welcoming. They never once made me feel like I was wasting their time or that I wasn’t supposed to be there. They took out my gallbladder first thing this morning and it turns out it ruptured right when they took it out so I got there just in time. I’m going list a few of the names, but please don’t take it as the other people are less important, I just met and was served wonderfully by so many people and it’s hard to remember so many names, but I will try to get them. They were the ER nightshift team Wednesday at midnight.

For inpatient services, my doctor was Dr. Smith very intelligent, very kind, calm respectful he worked late doing a bunch of surgeries and still made time to stop by and tell me what the plan was for me and what’s going on with me. He was back in the hospital early morning, ready to do my surgery. He gave me confidence in his skills and he did a great job. I want to thank Hannah, who is in charge of cleaning my room. It was spotless and fresh. We don’t thank folks that do our housekeeping as often as we should. Thank you, Hannah!! A few of the great staff names (in no particular order) that I can remember that were outstanding was Summer, Kate, Grace, Christina, Eric, Jessica, Dr. Smith, Dr. Nosti, (as my memory improves, I will add to this list if able to edit… My nighttime nurses were fabulous, I had a 5AM wake up and I’m a grumpy person before 8, but for once in my life, something about these nurses made me willing to wake up at five and happy to see them). On discharge day, I had some new nurses that I met and I loved their original, genuine, and unique personalities. all were excellent listeners and y’all can tell. I’m a talker by how long this review is. There was one nurse I met a few hours before my checkout who was confident, direct (without being condescending), this lady too, was warm, cheerful… and we talked and got to know each other.
Within one or two minutes, we quickly found how similar we were. Bottom line, the staff was genuine no fake-nice service. Customer service was great. I could tell that every one of these people actually like working and getting to know people, both about their medical issues and solutions, and also almost like trying to make a new friend. Each was extremely personable. I will do my best to locate names and update this list so you know who touched my heart cradle-to-grave. I know hospital care is subjective. sometimes people have dire circumstances and bad experiences with hospitals and meeting expectations that are truly unique for every person seeking care help.

I hope you give this place a try if It’s close to you and it makes sense to select it for your emergency or hospital care services.

Some of the emergency nurses are just plain rude. Do your job and stop gossiping! But the nurses that are upstairs helping the admitted patients are nice and friendly and helpful. Some of the food needs improving. But other than that it's a pretty good hospital.

The entire staff was professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Our 12 day stay was an excellent experience.

Dad has been in the hosp since Tuesday morning due to a stroke. Dad was just diagnosed with ca on the 31st of May. He has been waiting for a biopsy since last Monday. I personally feel that the nurses do an adequate to good job but the organization of the higher pay grades is disgraceful.! There is no reason to wait until 1 pm on Thursday when all concerned new by Tuesday at 10:00 am that the biopsy needed to be done.
At the very latest I should be signing the discharge paperwork now. Not waiting for the procedure to be done.
There have been no less than 3 doctors that have been in to see and exam him and all said they can’t start the treatments until the biopsy is done.
My opinion is that each and every person coming into his room gets a $ from his insurance and then the hosp gets a kick back.
Also the hosp gets so many days of $ from Medicare and he has to be in so long in order to get the full amount so that is the reason for them dragging their feet to get the biopsy done.
It could’ve been done Wednesday morning with the info the hosp staff had

They will say I can sleep in the waiting room while waiting on someone to get out of surgery then send security to wake u up. I was in an area where no one else was and I’m waiting on someone since this morning for 2 hours. I asked the nurses if I could before I even tried and they said yes it happens all the time. Apparently not.
