When I moved in, I had a bolt sheared off from on of the garage door spring pulleys that prevented the door from opening. I used the app to schedule a service appointment (the app offers helpful tips when submitting work orders to ensure that it isn't something you can reset, etc.) and my technician Rick T. was directly communicative about his ETA. Rick was quick to evaluate what he needed to do, acquired the parts, and had the job done within an hour (including the parts run). I had some questions about other "what if"s and he had direct answers ready for me. He was both courteous and professional, making this a genuinely convenient experience.

Having an early positive experience with my service needs while renting has definitely left good vibes.

Thomas and Michael R. were amazing! They came to look under our sink due to a leak. When they came out they found the problem very quickly and went to Home Depot came back and fixed our garage disposal all within an hour. They both were very respectful and did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. We really appreciate their service!

Rick was amazing came in a ensured us the water heater was good to go! While here I had another issue with the garage disposal that I had yet to put a work order in for, but he jumped right on it and had it fixed in less then 5 minutes. Rick did a fantastic job!

Michael R and Earl came to fix multiple outlets and faucets. They were so friendly, helpful, and educational! They were on time, communicated when they would be here and fixed all the issues we had tickets for!

I am only giving this 5 star review for Rebecca and not Main Street themselves. Anytime she has to come to our home, she is very communicative, extremely sufficient, and makes sure the job is done correctly! I have dealt with hundreds of maintenance personal, but none of them have even compared to Rebecca’s work ethic, knowledge, and level of productivity. She is fantastic and we hope she is recognized and rewarded by Main Street for being an amazing asset!

I can’t explain how amazing my experience was…
The home is immaculate!!
The response time, please everyone give them a chance, just follow the process… I found the place I wanted, did the credit app, paid everything with a credit card instead of checking account, takes longer with checking account due to the fact of banking time. I was in the home from start to finish in 4 days!!!
Thank you again!!!!!
Please again follow how they tell you to get hold of leasing agent…I wish I could have found these guys a couple years ago xxx

Matt was excellent. He fixed our dishwasher on site. The hot and cold waterlines were reversed and he reverse them back the way they should be. Now we can use our dishwasher and wash our dishes with hot water. Previously, we have been washing our dishes in our dishwasher with cold water. So our dishes were not being washed correctly if at all. Matt was Very fast and efficient.

It has now been over a month and we still cannot use the lock for our door to our home. This company insists that they have to use smart locks but they don’t work.

UPDATE AND CORRECTION: THE FOLLOWING JS FOR THE MAINTENANCE TECH: Earl was amazing! After 2 weeks of issues with our smart lock on our rental home, he was able to come out and get it fixed for us. He even checked the air conditioning unit to ensure it was functioning efficiently. Earl with Main Street Renewals maintenance team was extremely professional and kind. He even texted me the morning of to let me know I could call him regarding my issue if needed and to keep me looped in! 100% recommend!

I don't often see people go out of their way to help others, but one of your maintenance man did so; I think he said his name was Matt or Mark or something. Anyways, this poor old lady had a bag of cement break open in a home Depot parking lot. Everyone passed by, no one offered to help her and I'm disabled so I couldn't. He walked up, saw the chaos, turned around and brought a contractor trash bag and proceeded to scoop it all up, and loaded it into their vehicle. That's above and beyond. Integrity is what you do when you don't think anyone is watching

I left this same review with the BBB because I think it is important the word get out regarding the difference between MSR's call center and their local KC team.

I would give MSR's call center zero stars if I could. They were incompetent, did not follow up at all, couldn't understand most of what I was trying to tell them--absolutely awful. Three weeks after the move-in date and we still couldn't get in because of maintenance issues. HOWEVER, I met one of their maintenance people who was responding to a maintenance order as I was moving things into the garage, and she was wonderful! Her name was Rebecca. She listened well and did her best to help, even in areas where she wasn't directly responsible. She said that if I needed help, I really needed to stop by the local office in Blue Springs rather than calling the number, which sends you directly to the call center. So I did that. So happy I did. It was the best customer experience I have had with any service provider in a very long time. Michael King, the area manager, was polite, sympathetic, and supportive. He listened carefully and then acted quickly to resolve the half dozen issues we were having, several of which were preventing us from getting into the home. The maintenance manager, Don Newsome, was in the meeting as well and was equally helpful. They spent over an hour with me making sure everything was taken care of, getting very creative in working around challenges getting into the home when another unavailable family member had the keys and code and was unreachable by phone. In fact, Michael asked Don to head over to the house directly at the end of our meeting to coordinate getting everything right, which Don did readily. Don kept me informed of progress and just took care of business! I can't say enough good about those two and about Rebecca. They turned what was a nightmare experience because of the call center into an absolutely stellar customer service experience. Call center--two weeks of bumbling incompetence and inaction-zero stars. Local MSR team--one day and the house is ready for move in--5+++ stars. Thank you Michael, Don, and Rebecca!

Michael R came and was pleasant and very polite. He came to maintenance our dishwasher, had to order a part and checked the air conditioner while he was here. Came back a couple of days later with the part and it was fixed. Also while he was here he looked at a few other things that were wrong and fixed them also.

Matt came bright and early with a positive attitude. He assessed our issue's with the rental house and got to work straight away and fixed the issues quickly. A man named thomas came to fix the leak that was leaking for months and also fixed my garage door by putting a new door knob on. He really did a great job and i truly appreciate him. Came out and fixed my issue in less than 15 minutes. Even tightened the springs and chain on the garage doors as well as checked my furnace filter to see when it should be replaced. Very kind, respectful, and knowledgeable individuals.

This 5 star review is for maintenance worker Michael R. We have had several issues since moving in and each request takes weeks to be processed even urgent ones. Michael came out to look at one issue with our door and was able to fix it and fix another issue with our sink leaking (which the work order has still yet to be processed)! In the past when maintenance workers came out they look at it, do nothing and send it out to a third party which takes another week. -Mainstreet this man is phenomenal and deserves a raise!
