Great group and very helpful!

I want to say that this review does not reflect medical service at the same location, which we my family also uses and love.

This is not a “Client First” mindset that you hope for in mental”health”. It is very much, an auto pay- auto bill, credit card driven, group. My family tried different providers on two separate occasions with this service, and had disappointing interactions each time. Not only with the counselors, but with the administrative staff, and the owner. Please be advised that you can not call in and speak with any one. The number is linked to a service, leave your name, which gets screened, sometimes it gets connected, and often leave a message to get called back. So this is not an office with office hours, with a traditional billing personnel. Once you have a counselor, you communicate directly with them, but the reminder comes from the main office. Be advised that if you have a virtual visit, as of our last virtual visit the link in appointment reminder was not working, so be sure to check that so you are not panicking the day of the appointment. Currently no one is taking responsibility for who/how we would have gotten to the visit. without a link. They just went ahead and billed and then had to reimburse me when we weren’t present. That said , one visit the counselor actually make a phone call instead of a video call, which is still not billable, but they are not acknowledging that as of this point. That leads me to the multiple billing issues, which are difficult to resolve due to the email-only practices. Finally , our experience has been that we were told that the counselors have experience with adolescents with ADHD, ASD, etc, however they clearly do not have sufficient experience in the therapies or verbiage used with IDD and/or the impact that has on the family.

I would not recommend seeing Peggy Giokaris. This individual does not genuinely care about your mental health. She is rude and condescending. Find better help and get the real help you need.

Completely useless. I wouldn't even try unless you just really want months of your life wasted on people who won't respond.
