I was referred from my doctors office. Been hearing crickets and having dizzy spells. Guess what, it can have to do with hearing. I been pushing it off for a long time but it's just getting worse. Billie-Jo is inviting and makes you feel comfortable. She also goes over the results and makes sure you understand them. First time hearing aid person and I could not be happier with Billie-Jo and her handling of my needs. Yes I did research on line and was a little pessimistic and confused. Billie-Jo treats you with patience and answers all concerns, she is very knowledgeable and super polite. She wont oversell you into a hearing aid but helps you into what you need and can afford. Kim makes you a priority at the front desk and on the phone. If your a first timer definitely schedule with American Hearing.

I have had my Unitron hearing aids just a month short of one year and they have made my life so much easier to continue my goals in my retirement years. I was very stubborn in the beginning about admitting that I needed hearing aids, but with American Hearing + Audiology to be there for me every step of the way, it has been an amazing transition. My son and I are roommates and it has made our lives a lot easier (less frustrating)! I definitely recommend American Hearing + Audiology you can count on their support and guidance in this amazing journey.

My first time here and it was like family. The receptionist made me feel welcome and was very informative. The Audiologist answered all my questions and in full detail. Very professional, but a level of friendliness which was unusual. I am quite pleased .

Dr. Billie Costa and office staff are extremely nice and professional! Listens to patient concerns and finds answers to assist with your needs. Would highly recommend!

The people at American Hearing in Blue Springs are friendly, compassionate and VERY competent in their field. They took time to make sure I was comfortable during the hearing test and not overwhelmed by the outcome.

This is the second year I’ve used them for my hearing needs and it will not be the last!

I will need hearing aides and when I go in to be fitted they will take their time in making sure they fit properly and the it is on the correct setting for correct hearing

Loved this clinic they were great with everything from the receptionist down to getting my hearing test done with the doctor i highly recommend going here for your hearing needs.

I had a wonderful experience with the technician at the Blue Springs location. From the moment I called to make the appointment with the receptionist I felt like I had been taking care of the whole time. They were able to get my insurance set up right away so I got the credit for each ear while i was there. The technician I worked with was Billie-Joe Johnson, as far as i am concerned and no i have not had any proir knowledge or experience with the process nor their competitors processes, i feel she retains the highest quality of service i could have experienced of anywherei could have gone. As Hearing Instrument Specialist, she went what I feel is above what she needed to do. I walked away with a trial pair of hearing aids tonuse the next week along with knowledge and the expertise to begin my now relatively effortless journey towards correction of my severe hearing loss. I have been blessed by their professionalism and I 1000% recommend them to everyone regardless of how far you are. I cant wait to get settled with not just the opportunity to listen like i have been, now I am celebrating hearing, clearly.

Billie Jo and Kim provide the best customer service. They listen and explain how everything works. They never rush you in and out. Would highly recommend them!!!

I have moderate hearing loss. I can get by without a hearing aid.

I tested their hearing aid for 10 days. It certainly improved my hearing.

But the cost (6k) was insanely prohibitive. I can’t justify the expense (in my case) because the benefit was marginal. If I had profound hearing loss I’d certainly spend 6k for the hearing aid.

The people were polite and knowledgeable.

Now I’ve ordered an expensive (1k) hearing aid from Amazon. If it doesn’t work (I expect it will) then I’ll try another one.

From the onset in the door greeted and conversed with Kim. Billie followed suit. Both the ladies are super pleasant. The hearing exam was comfortable and explained in depth. The follow up for trial aids was just as remarkable. Billie worked hard to get me the best deal possible for my purchase. I will continue my hearing needs and care with them. Recommend them highly!

Billie is an exceptional employee, going above and beyond to make her customers feel relaxed and comfortable taking the worries of not hearing so well, and making a positive experience of it all. I hear so much better now, and the constant cicada nose (ringing in my ears) has almost completely stopped!!

Excellent service, very honest. I might add very frank about choices of products. The top of the line hearing aid fit my needs exactly, but they offered me reasonable alternatives and allowed me to make my own decision without any pressure. Completely thorough examination and answered all of my questions. I can't wait to try my new hearing aid when it arrives in a few days!

Took my grandma to get hearing aids. They were so kind and very helpful. Didn't have to wait long and I appreciated that. The receptionist was so sweet too. I highly recommend going to them

I have only had great experiences here. They provide excellent service, a wealth of knowledge, and overall just wonderful people to work with. Couldn't recommend them more.

Update 2023-09-06: Wish I could add a sixth star. My right hearing aid was acting up and I couldn't hear anything from it. After walking into their office they just fixed the issue at the front desk since it was apparently something simple and I was back able to hear from it again. Amazing service!

Dr Hosta was a wonderful audiologist to deal with. She was very thorough with explaining both my hearing test results and the best course of action towards a hearing aid that would actually work for me. Way better than someone who's just trying to upsell everything for numbers that I've dealt with in the past. I would highly recommend!
