Food & Drinks,
They offer a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts like turtle cake, lemon cream cake, their deli sandwiches are made to order. They have a great variety of drinks as well.
Atmosphere of The cafe has a welcoming vibe, perfect for people-watching or a casual meal.
Service generally, the staff are friendly helpful. The cafeteria set up allows for quick and varied dining experience. I would definitely recommend the dining experience.

This place is great. Lovely spot to come and grab lunch and especially the dessert! They all looked so good I couldn't decide. I chose the tiramisu and loved it. Will definitely be going back to try more.

Love this place, they have the best food and cakes! My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t been! My favorite food items are the chicken salsa chili, I get it every time, and the chocolate chocolate cake is the best. You can also order whole cakes and that is really nice for birthday parties or weddings. They really have something for everyone here from salads, sandwiches, soups, wine, coffee, and even pizzas! So definitely recommend!

The latte here is delicious, with a generous amount of milk. But it’s their cakes that really steal the show—some of the best you’ll find! Many locals come here just to buy an entire cake to take home. Unfortunately, I’m currently on a diet, so I had to pass on those tempting treats this time. Btw, I love the store's slogan lol

The only thing is that is may be a little pricey

What can you say about Cafe Latte? It had been there "forever" and the cakes never disappoint. Their assortment of chocolate truffles are stupendously delicious. They make really, really good cheesecake, but are known for their assortment of chocolate cakes - particularly their turtle cake.

We got there really late, and they only had 3 types of cake left. You can't go wrong with their tres leches cake, which is perfect.

They also do excellent salads and soups, but honestly - it is all about the cake!

Delicious food and fast service. The cakes are delicious! The only thing I would change is to add more sponge cake and less cream in the tres leches. The ratio is a little off, but of course, it was still delicious 😋

Cafe Latte has earned a high spot on my list of favorite destinations on Grand Avenue. The atmosphere exudes style, the servers smile, and the delicious coffee is reasonably priced. Oh, and each slice if Chocolate Chocolate Cake is irresistible, beautiful, and decadent.

It’s a good thing that I live seventy miles away. Otherwise, that Chocolate Chocolate Cake would take up a large share of my daily caloric intake! But it’s a wonderful little part of life.

My favorite is the classic strawberry cheesecake and I keep going back for it! 😋 SO good! I also recommend their tres leches, mango and blueberry cheesecake, sandwiches and salads.

Other than cake server not knowing which kinds of nuts one cake contained and not offering to find an answer, this met all my expectations.
The neighborhood is so beautiful & full of fabulous walking opportunities (old homes) + other awesome businesses.
Fabulous variety of options but my favorite are the cream cheese spread platters w/ bread & vegg (so unique! YUM!), and the CAKES.

Good cake options are a rarity everywhere else I've lived (not Twin Cities, but still reveling in all the options). Choosing one was so hard as they all look PHENOMENAL. The raspberry cream was absolutely beautiful in every way but I look forward to trying all the chocolate ones!

It's got a classy late 90s / early 2000s modern vibe that we love (upstairs seating is so cool!). That + the name reminded me of You've Got Mail & Cafe Lala or w/e it was in the movie. 🥰

1st timer, and it didn't disappoint! Highly recommend the pizza. It's probably some of the best I have ever had. It's light and airy. Legit enjoyed eating the crust when the pizza toppings were gone, which I never do. Perfectly sized pizza, too. The desert was also very good. The pieces are huge. 2 slices filled my family of 5 (3 kids under 11).

The service was extremely fast and good. Taking kids out to eat usually isn't ideal, but when you order 4 pizzas in get them less than 15 mn, you can't beat that!

Busy around lunchtime so line was a bit slow. Mostly enjoyed the fresh bread and Tiramisu Tres Leche cake! Yum!

Surprisingly tasty - it's a kind of cafeteria setting and one of the few places open on a holiday; I was hoping for a more formal sit-down dinner, but this place was really yummy. My guacamole and chips were the standout, but the two fresh salads I chose (Caesar & pesto pasta) were also quite good. You select your dishes, add them to your tray, and take them to your table after paying at the end of the food line. Service is fast and friendly. The desserts looked fabulous, but I resisted!

The food was really good. The atmosphere was a bit fast-paced and noisy....but getting items cafeteria style was fun. They have lots of choices and are willing to adapt to anyone's food preferences. The Latte Caesar salad was amazing. Their pizzas seem small but are very flavorful and filling. The ham sandwich was simple, yet it hit the spot. This is a great place to go either by yourself or with friends. We got multiple items, and everyone shared. It's definitely worth a trip there. Parking can be a bit tricky though....the street parking was free but limited near the cafe....otherwise you might have to walk a bit.

The German chocolate cake was absolutely delicious... and the perfect way to end my meal.

I also appreciate the helpful and amazing staff that works there!

What a terrific experience!
Visiting the twin cities for just a couple of days and our host treated us to Cafe Latte for lunch.
We enjoyed lunch very much, but it was the desserts that knocked our socks off! The turtle cake is not to be missed! The lemon cream cake was lightly lemon and delicious was an epiphany!
You should stop here!!

Excellent customer service, clean friendly staff. Line may be long but it moves quick as they are pretty efficient and food taste fresh and delicious!! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

Great soups & salad choices. Not to mention delicious cakes & slices! Always very fresh and healthy. Nice assortments of breads for meal choice also.

Great service and great team! Always attentive and take my gift card anytime I have one! Best desert prepared by the most amazing staff! If they don't have what I am looking for they take great pride in making it right and getting me what I need.

Great cheesecake! Lots of tea, chi, and coffee. Great ambiance. There was a guitarist playing and singing. Plenty of excellent dessert options and dinner salads, fish, sandwiches, and terrific pasta salad. 👌👌⭐⭐⭐
