Based on the contents, I had an idea that it would be an agreeable sandwich. I was blown away with how scrumptious it was. Also, the guava pastry is delicious. It has to be to follow that sandwich. It was all a mouth-gasm, so we also took a sandwich and dessert to go.
The owner was a wonderful host and an instant friend.

A must do place when visiting Homosassa! Good food - the Cuban sandwich was the best! Also was pleased with the devil crab and homemade chicken vegetable soup. While preparing your food, you can browse the owner's museum. A lot of printing press and Blue's music memorabilia, and other interesting items. If the owner is in, he is sure to entertain with stories about museum items or local life. Don't miss it!

A unique experience to see the printing antiques. Mr. Boe had a great personality and some great food. So glad to have the chance to spend time at a slower pace.

Cuban food in Old Homosassa. Great food. Ordered Cuban sandwich and black beans/yellow rice. Lots of history in the attached museum. Boe Cat cooks and sometimes provides entertainment. Juke box loaded with classic blues oriented selection. Check out the shoe display. No Air Jordans here. Put down your phone and enjoythe history.

This museum and cafe is the creation of it's genius owner, Jim Anderson. On our first visit he prepared our meals, told us his story and we checked out the museum of printing presses he's collected and operated until it was time to eat (he served our meal too). His Cuban sandwiches are spot on traditional the way they should be including the bread from a Tampa bakery. We enjoyed black beans and yellow rice as well, and a delicious pastry. Of course he's got sweet or unsweetened tea, and beer or wine. There's probably not WiFi here, he says he doesn't even own a mobile phone. If you're in the Homosassa area be sure to stop and enjoy Jim and his cafe/museum. And there's also a historic sugar cane site next door.

Jim is an absolute sweetheart!! He took my friends and me in during our trip to Dunnellon (we stopped to look at the mill and we took a stroll), gave us a tour around the area and gave us an inside look of his work, his history and you can tell he is passionate. I wish only the best for him! Definitely can't wait to return and pay him a visit. His smile is sure to brighten your day! As will his stories and his knowledge. The museum itself was absolutely impressive! So much history in one place. Love to see such passion and such a connection to the design world and the history of design. I am wishing only the best for Jim. For him and his band!

A delightful little cafe combined with a museum of printing. Excellent genuine southern fare, especially be sure to try the Cuban Sandwich. Boe is your host with the most, and will delight you with all sorts of info about the area. Only open for lunch, but make time to get there.

We visited this quaint local venue for the first time together this evening and found Jim (Boe) very interesting and informative! The printing press machines he described to the group of peeps there was amazing! His smile was contagious! We had a couple beers and a meal and it also was amazing! Definitely a place to share with all new faces in town! Thank you Michele for your lovely southern hospitality! Takes orders, cooks AND serves! It was an unforgettable evening! Anxious to hear music there! Thanks again!
