Old Mill Tavern

What a lovely find! We love coming to Homosassa a few times a year, but just tried this restaurant for the first time and what a happy find! Looks unassuming from the outside, but wow, lots of personality on the inside! Service was great, food came fast and delicious!! We had wings for appetizer, meat with lots of flavor. For the main course, I got the grouper sandwich blackened and it was delicious, so tender and tasty! Hubby got the French dip and was thoroughly pleased. We will be back again and would definitely recommend!

The food was outstanding, but the service was a little slow. From talking to someone else who is a regular there, that doesn't usually happen so dont let that be your deciding factor. Staff was friendly and accommodating otherwise. Will definitely eat here again next time I find myself down this way.

This place is always great!! It's the best little local spot around. Great food, service and decent prices. Heather is a great waitress. Try the French Dip. It's amazing! Happy hour until 7pm.

We had our pupper & the outside patio , tables , & the band was great. Kinda divey It's pretty much fend for yourself. We just had drinks & a fried app & both were delicious. It is the holidays but don't fret we were told the Xmas lights are up all year 🧑🏽‍🎄

I review a lot of places, and this place is one of the few that deserves six stars. It's a classic dive bar vibe with a high energy atmosphere (especially on weekends), and they punch way above their weight in food quality. The wings and ribs are excellent, and I love the grouper sandwich. The staff are funny, personable, and on point. It's one of those places that makes you want to be a regular. I've heard so many great stories from my father in law about how well the staff take care of them. They also do karaoke Fridays and Saturdays. What's not to love?

This is our go-to place for wings. Although they have other food we are just die hard fans of their wings. There seems to be a lot of camaraderie here. We always meet people and are able to engage in conversations with them. It's nice to meet people from all over and to be able to communicate and meet people who will become friends. There is generally plenty of parking. However since this is a local hotspot sometimes it's touch and go.

The lightly breaded shrimp is certainly among the best I've ever had. You can order by the half-pound with any of a long list of dry rubs and sauces. We had ours tossed with grated Parmesan - which was awesome. Friendly, neighborhood bar atmosphere that was floor to ceiling densely decorated for Christmas. Loved it!

Best karaoke ever and I’ve been to spots in many counties all over Florida. Christine is simply the best! She gets the party started and keeps it going until closing. In addition, she sings & dances her way into everyone’s heart.

Worth the wait!! Best food I’ve had at a restaurant. Staff is so efficient and moves the crowd right along. Marianne was our server and I never had to ask for a thing because she was on top of everything. Thank you Old Mill this experience was amazing. 🤩

Not from the area but like trying different local places when we vacation. Husband ordered an appetizer and so did I and also a meal. Very good food, waitress was very friendly. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back!

Had to stop in for some Gator and so glad we did! Lightly breaded and big juicy pieces. Best Fried gator we had the whole trip. Cool atmosphere and vibe. Service was friendly and fast!

Always a fun place. With entertainment almost daily and karaoke on Thursdays, we ate there a few times and I hate to say the food wasn't the greatest, but the service was always friendly and the beer was always cold.

Met up with work friends. Very good wings with many, many different ways to enjoy them. Quick and friendly service. Music outside but unfortunately it was very hot that day. We opted for inside, small dining area and bar. Not fine dining but good bar food.

This is a fun local watering hole. The Friday night band was good and people were dancing under the festive lights. The French dip sandwich was good as were the wings. Their suicide wings actually require a waiver and our son, who loves very hot wings, was satisfactorily impressed.

Stopped in on a Sunday night for a drink. They had live entertainment. It was laid back and relaxed. Definitely recommend visiting.

This is one of my favorite places in town! Rich is and has always been the best bartender. My favorite item to eat is the chicken wings, they take a bit but they are crispy and the perfect size. Live music on the weekends and karaoke some of the others. Make sure you stop in here and enjoy this little bar!
