Great place to be, beautiful water side views. Good food and the bands are good. Good place to cut a rug and they have nice rooms at reasonable rates,so you can party all night long.

Best for pontoon rentals. Great food too! Had the blackened fish tacos, which were great. The live music on Saturday night made for a fun evening. Rented a pontoon boat for a couple days. Super helpful staff with fishing tips, etc. I thought the price was pretty reasonable, but they might charge more in peak season. I understand they are the only rental place around that will rent overnight - which was a plus since the vacation house we rented had a dock. Well stocked bait house. Everything a boating and fishing trip could possibly need.

Crazy fun bar on the water! Drove over an hour to check it out! Great dancing to Groove 41 band!!! People were so kind!

Been using them for 12 years. Get there early to find a parking spot. Bait, light tackle and ice all available. Filet table on site. 2 lanes at the ramp.

This place is so amazing. Everything you need is here. Great rooms, entertainment, great food.

I met the man I was going to marry at the Shed.
One year and one day after a first date, we got married there on what was then, Wednesday dollar beer night. 2016

Gator McCrae, went out of his way to make sure it was a perfect evening for us. He even had numerous tall torches made for us, with a log bottom , drilled in the center with a hole, which made it about 6 ft tall. We still have them in our yard.
He got in touch with the band that we wanted to play and set it all up.

He and his staff just went all out for us!

It is still our favorite place to go.

Excellent music, food bait store, boat, rental animal chow there with a gift shop wonderful star wonderful people who work with you and whatever rental or venue you need live music on the water you can’t be a historical place like McRae’s

I love the food the service been going there for years.

Dined on the waterfront, had a great time with family visiting from NC. Had the fish and chips (flounder). I would say it was ok, the fish had little to no seasoning but I spiced it up a little at the table. The ambiance was the ticket here, love this place.

Loved “The Shed” great music on the water. Reasonably priced. Great place to chill.

Second time here and love it! Rooms are very clean, most if not all are efficiencies. Original McRaes house on site-lots of history. Huge bar in front on the water with live entertainment. Air boats, boat rides to see the manatee, nearby mill and lots more! Worth it! Our double queen room efficiency was $150!

Nice beer bar on the homosassa river. Has a little food truck with a nice size menu. Been going here for years. Nice view of the homosassa River. Plenty of boat parking. Right up the river from the springs n wild life park.

Stayed here with my parents and loved it! This isn’t just a motel, it’s a place that feels like family and feels like home. Everyone was so welcoming- from the gal who cleans the rooms to the guy who works in the bait shop. Our kitchenette room was clean and cozy, and had a good amount of space for 3 people. The fold out couch had an uncomfortable mattress so we dragged the mattress off the spare bed in the bedroom and plopped it ontop of the fold out and then it was nice to sleep on! The Macrae family house is on the property, which just adds to the charming magic of this location. What a gem! Macrae’s just earned a little piece of my heart!

What a great location to rent a boat. The staff were willing and able to help answer any questions and provide guidance and directions. The most amazing part was we left our fishing gear on the docks and they called and were willing to stay open late so we could retrieve it. Would definitely rent from them again when in the area!!!

We have been coming to this resort for 10 years. Wendy at the front desk is very accommodating to our large group. Love the upgrades in the efficiency’s . Everyone is super friendly. Excellent location and great live music on the weekends.

Docked our pontoon and had a great meal and got bait all at the same place. Busy, friendly atmosphere plenty of room plus they had karaoke.

Have never stayed in the rooms so can't comment there. I use the the boat ramp and the bait store and is awesome!! Live down the road and fish this area a lot. Love the fishing here and had friends stay here that said it's nice place to stay. That's all I know about it. Has been here for years..

Eaten here many times always great food. Last few times I went out scalloping with Reel Burns charter. Got a bunch of scallops, had them cleaned at the docks. Took them straight over to the restaurant. They cooked them up 3 different ways with sides and they were magnificent.
