Uncle Mikey's Pizza

Uncle Mikey’s Pizza located in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina is a GREAT place to eat. The food is amazing. We ordered the Uncle Mikey’s special pizza and we absolutely loved it. There is free parking in front of the restaurant and there is additional parking on the side. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food that you receive. We highly recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to return.

We are from massachusetts the Boston memorabilia give it the feeling like home vibes. The pizza is amazing. It’s great to have Boston pizza again. This is our go to pizza for now on. Buy the T-shirt!

Hands down the best pizza I've had since my visit to Italy. Why? Thin crust, wood fired, plentiful ingredients that are authentic (you can taste the difference)! As we walked out the door the guy behind the bar who I assume to be Mikey asked if it was good. I replied out of the park and he said he's been doing it for 54 years. I think I heard him say he is 78. This is an example of what makes America great in my opinion. The environment is like what I've experienced in Italy. Kinda homeish, laid back, and like your grandfolks house. The food is like wow! I saw the other dishes going out of the kitchen and they looked amazing.

Oh, and the lemoncello cake is spot on amazing. I'm going back soon!

Handicap accessible, the owner makes you feel like family. I've only eaten food this wonderful in Menane, NC! Best Arnold Palmer I had my entire vacation in SC.The food was quickly prepared and served. My own dislike, the sign identifying the place. We past it three times before identifying it.

I have NO words for how amazing my food was from here tonight. Mikey was amazing, our pizza had the best flavor I’ve ever had, he suggested the BEST wine to go with it. He threw in all of the little things that made this place feel like I was sitting at the dinner table at home. He welcomed us like family. The desert was phenomenal also. If you want to dine somewhere where they make you feel like the only customer in the building, you should go here. Fresh, hot, & incredible flavors. It’s the best meal I’ve had here in the Murrels Inlet area thus far. You won’t regret a visit here! Mikey values God, family and hard work, and boy does it show in his restaurant!

The Mikey makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. Laughed with him and others waiting on my order. He is hilarious and the pizza is huge and absolutely delicious. Love my “Legalize Marinara “ tee shirt.

My friends and I visited yesterday afternoon and were immediately won over! Uncle Mikey and our sweet server (I didn't catch his name, but he was so kind to us) made us feel so welcome and the pizza was amazing! We ordered the Uncle Mikey's Special and I loved how the meat was chopped so finely. We had plenty of leftovers for later.

We also ordered appetizers to share -- garlic parmesan chicken wings, meatballs and fried mushrooms. All were absolutely delicious!

We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

A little slice of coastal heaven! Uncle Mikey and his family/team make you feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. Located by the marsh walk area, you can enjoy homemade fresh food while sitting inside or outside enjoying the positive vibes the coast has to offer. Great food, great people, great prices. Love this place!

Terrific pizza! Ultra-crispy crust and an enormous amount of cheese with quality toppings. Even the soda was bubbly and fresh tasting. Some reviewers are critical of the appearance of the interior. Indeed, the place could use a bath and some updating, but all that is forgiven and becomes invisible when the product is superior, which is the case here!

Omg the best atmosphere of any place I have tried in MurrelsInlet or Surfside. Uncle Mickey is precious. The. Food was superb! Will be back!

Very Italian as you enter the smell is delicious I had the jalapeno poppers they were awesome served with fresh hot Italian bread on the side My husband had lasagna also served with fresh hot Italian crusty bread on the side. I would have tried the pizza but it only comes in the extra large size They also offer beer and wine . Great place

Excellent service and so far the best pizza I've had in the area since moving to Surfside Beach last March. Uncle Mikey is a great guy and his main man, the quiet guy, is fantastic too!

Overall a great experience. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we didn't have any problems with our food. The pizzas are big ol 18 inch pizzas and they are very good. It deserves it's 4.7 star rating and I would gladly come here again.

The place could use some sprucing up, but the food and personal service can't be beat! There was only one waitress working the night we went, and she did an awesome job juggling all the tables and stayed pleasant despite the busyness. Uncle Mikey personally greeted us from behind the bar as we entered and came to the dining area twice while we were there to speak to patrons and publicly announce his appreciation for the waitress.

We recently dined at Mikeys for the first time before going to Brookgreen Gardens. Mikey was super friendly and welcoming. He came over and chatted with us, he’s quite the comedian. We ordered a salad for the table and a large margarita pie with sausage. It was amazing! And the service was even better. We laughed so much our stomachs hurt! Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely a wonderful dining experience! Our waiter was fantastic. We got to watch our pizza being made. The lasagna and the spaghetti were fabulous! We will definitely be coming back!

Most importantly, this was the kind of spot where Uncle Mikey himself is greeting and chatting and smiling warmly. Business was appreciated by all his customers and all his customers were warmly welcomed. I will be back for years to come, Mikey is a treasure and so is the food!!

This was our first visit. It was a really good pizza and salad. Very hard to park, but worth the effort. It is our go to pizza place in the Myrtle Beach area.

I can’t say enough about Uncle Mikey’s. My first visit I had his pizza. There is just no words. The crust was perfect and the toppings? WOW! My second visit… His spaghetti and meatballs. I didn’t just have it at the restaurant, I took it home with me too! I am almost done with it and I am ready to drive 6 hours back to get some more. DELICIOUS!!!! I can’t get back soon enough.
