Nance's Creekfront Restaurant

For years we've mistakenly driven by Nance's, maybe judging the book by the cover. Glad we finally got around to going because we loved it! Obviously, many locals are regulars and the atmosphere is fun. Two of us shared the big ($86) steampot. That is pricey but is enough succulent seafood (mostly local) for 2 or 3.

Amazing food and great staff. We went back in the fall, and the waiter we had that day was great when trying to help to find me something gluten free I’d be able to eat. Also an amazing view. I will be sure to stop in next time we are in town.

This place is well worth the drive from North Myrtle! Beautiful view of Murrells Inlet. Food was fresh and delicious! My guys loved the steam pot! I tried the clams from that dish and they were the perfect briney sweetness. My shrimp basket was excellent! They were Lightly dusted before frying which was a welcome change from the heavy battering that so many of the restaurants in the MB area have. Entertainment was appropriate for the space and quite enjoyable. Try the High Tide cocktail! Overall, superb!

As good as its always been... but with a fantastic new updated atmosphere! Long gone are the carpets from my childhood and most of the country kitchen chairs. The tables are new, but still have that familiar "oyster hole" to toss your shells through into the bins. The new bar is beautiful and there's plenty of TVs to watch sports or true crime docs in that area. The servers no longer wear jeans and tee shirts, but are a bit more spiffy now! Make sure to try to get a window table and enjoy the sunset over the creek, and walk out back and onto the marsh walkway. Toss a shrimp to a cat, too. 😉

Arrived as they were opening and were able to get a great table in the bar area looking out over the water but where we could also see TVs to watch Saturday football games. Ordered a double bucket of oysters and fried okra. Hush puppies were also brought to the table. Drawn butter, cocktail sauce, and horseradish were served with the oysters. They were delicious. The server who was also the bartender made great suggestions for a couple of alcoholic beverages which were thoroughly enjoyed. This is a special place.

Great Food and People ! We have been going over 10 years. We probably go 20+ times a year and we live 160 miles away. Love all their food, but the local oysters are better than anywhere else. We love the new bar and live music.

Love this restaurant! The views are beautiful!!! The food is delicious!!! Steam pots have the best claims, oysters, shrimp & crab legs. Hush puppies are amazing!! Service is great!!! This restaurant is a definite go to every time I visit!!

We had looked forward to roasted oysters for years. They had them and they were wonderful. Wait staff was great.

I got the grilled salmon and my husband got the seafood platter. They were both incredible! Easily in the top 5 of green beans I've ever eaten. The baked potato was perfectly cooked. Our server was kind and gave us great attention. We will certainly return!

We had the petite boil my husband and I shared it with a side salad. The hush puppies were fantastic. We both enjoyed our meal it was quite plentiful. The servers were very nice. I would visit again when traveling back to SC.

Nance's. One stop to a great and experience. Jared is a great host at the bar. The good food is only outdone by the view to the water and friendly locals. It's Marsh Walk off the beaten trail.

A lot has changed since I was here last. We had a big group and the staff did a great job accommodating. (We were a group of 20!)

Honestly one of the best kept secrets in Murrells Inlet! My family and I came in approx 7pm last night, our server Jennifer was AMAZING to say the least. It was absolutely phenomenal. Jennifer was so helpful, upbeat and 1000% accurate. Not one person at our table went without a thing our entire meal. Not one guest had time to ask for condiments, napkins, or beverage refills she was on point the entire evening!! The kitchen staff as well are simply top notch! Our entire experience was truly flawless. We all received hot fresh food, multiple special ordered menu items, and not even one minor mistake; mind blowing! We are already planning our next trip back! Thank you again to the entire staff, absolutely a job well done!

The absolute best restaurant, seafood, service in the area. Our server was cheerful and so welcoming. You will not be disappointed. We got to see dolphins 🐬!!! I could not have asked for a more perfect dining experience. Will come here every year while on vacation!

We have been coming to eat at Nancy's for at least 40 years!! They have always been our favorite place for the best steamed Oysters and Red Clam Chowder and much more!! The staff has always had great service and made the experience memorable and enjoyable!!

This is a wonderful local restaurant with great atmosphere and lovely marsh views. The inside has recently been updated and it is cozy and warm. I highly recommend their steam pots--they are a great variety of shellfish that gives you a taste of everything and leaves you feeling satisfied. The staff are all very friendly and the service is generally quick. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Murrell's Inlet or the surrounding area (and of course locals too!).

Very spacious dining area, with beautiful scenery. Felt a bit old fashioned and country style but it did not detract from the food quality. Seafood and land lover items were great.

One of the best restaurants in Murrells Inlet. Great food, fantastic and friendly staff, beautiful views of the Inlet.
