Orem Family Fitness Center

Recently refurbished, the Orem rec center is a huge place with many amenities for all ages. 2 pools, a gym, basketball courts and more, this place has everything and is a very popular spot for families. Their locker rooms are massive and they have changing rooms everywhere. It's very clean in here and they always have tons of people working so there's help everywhere. Check ahead of time before going how much to pay, depending on a variety of things. The kids pool is awesome, including slides, water fountains and a rapid river area.

What a wonderful community resource. World class views of beautiful mount timpanogos, high quality equipment, and plenty of space across 2 floors. Not to mention the great lockers in the change room. Shelves and hooks and space for all of my “go straight to work after exercising” needs. Thank you Orem!

Brought the kids here on a Saturday night at 7 for a swim. They loved the play area that had a slide and water sprinklers. They had lots of lifeguards which was good. And I like the large private dressing rooms that families can use. Don't forget the flip flops. Nice huge hot tub too!

These new facilities are really impressive and a massive improvement from the older building.

This place was great. Friendly customer service, clean facilities, well maintained machines, huge and expanded pool, basketball courts, and all around big place. The track is much better than before, with cows out windows instead of downstairs in the dark. I do miss the old rec center in some respects, especially the plethora of racquetball courts - There are only 4 of them in these new facilities. Other than that, it’s a great option for recreational and exercise activities. No complaints.

As city family fitness centers go, this place is the standard. It's pretty new, maybe 2 years old. The equipment is in good shape and well arranged, there are a large amount of classes that you can take, they have activity spaces available for all ages, and the cost is competitive. It would be wise for them to stop with the age limit on who can be upstairs and replace that with a minimum size if you're under 16.

Very fair price for annual membership. Enormous gym with space and equipment for all. Can get busy at certain times like any gym. Hot tub, steam room are a must for me and this gym delivers.

Great fitness center! My only complaint is the minimum age requirements in some areas/for some things.

16+ for the hot tub and some other exercise machines/areas.

Always friendly helpful staff and things are really kept up well.. our family uses all the areas.. sports courts the pool ..the kids pool area.. and the really well equipped weight area and walking track.. top notch facility

Love this place! My only complaint is they have fans (room ventilation on the ceiling) installed in every family changing room with a shower and there is no way to turn them on. They don’t come on automatically either. Seems weird to spend the money to install them and never use them.

Just remodeled. Stunning. They wanted to transcend from a red brick box, to a 25 million dollar showcase of design. The inside is almost a picture book that frames the surrounding mountains. As you jog or spin you will feel the outside beauty touch you.

Everything has been improved. Larger safer hot tub, better facility for families, and incredible design and function.

I do think removing racquetball courts that were constantly being used for nearly four decades is misguided, the overwhelming positives of improvement is not. Watch how the staff strives to deliver professional service!!

Love this Rec Center. The classes are affordable and fun. The swimming is clean and gets the wiggles out.

Swimming lessons and bouldering classes have been awesome! Wonderful resource for the community.

First time here since they’ve remodeled. Place is great. It used to have a sauna/steam room that I couldn’t find in the new place. Maybe it’s been removed?

Fantastic facility, Staff and Patrons. A saintly gym compared to any place I have worked out. Nothing in 45 years of trying to stay in shape compares

Went here for the racquetball courts. Stayed for the racquetball courts. Lots of things to do in this family friendly rec center. Try out the basketball courts or the entire workout floor. They have an entire floor dedicated to workout equipment and it's awesome.

I'm a 68 yo type 2 diabetic. Who needs a track to improve my health. I also have a pass and wold like to know the distance to achieve a mile. Thank you R Ortiz

Awesome facilities. Full length lap pool, large hot tub, steam room.

My family loves this place. It was great to work out and a good relaxing soak on the hot tub.

Hi, I am Scotty Peterson. I was able to volunteer at Orem Family Fitness Center (Sept 2022 to Dec 2022). I was able to work at OSFC because of my school, ScenicView Academy, who helped my get a internship there.

I helped as a assistant youth sports coach. I was impressed by the services that they gave and for the skills i learned.

I go there everyday to workout at 5 am. The staff is super friendly (especially at 5 am) the machines are great. They have a slide to get from the upstairs machines to the downstairs (way cool) and just really great place to workout. There are private showers as well, which is nice. Only downside is when it gets busy, the machines get taken. But that's because it's popular. 5 stars!
