First time being here. This place is awesome. The service was excellent the food was beyond good. I'll definitely be back. Very clean and employees are very friendly. I had the Bigfoot chicken fried steak with Mac and cheese and green beans. That was so good and feeling. I literally was in a food coma. Definitely be back.

Very good food, better than I remembered it. Very friendly service and a great overall experience for my wife and I. Would definitely come here again. Also affordable for what you get.

We didn’t have to wait too long to be seated. The service was pretty quick. The portion sizes here are always big and filling. I love how they added powder sugar on top of the pancakes. The bacon was thick and crisp.

Tucker, thankfully, helped me design a car that runs on water, causing most of the Middle East to become obsolete. Now that we can’t use oil as an excuse to invade those silly rascals, I constantly watch my surroundings for CIA agents who may be lurking on rooftops to take me out, Americas strongest, most loyal citizen. I may have developed a harrowing affliction, often referred to as schizophrenia, but I now know where I can enjoy a delicious family friendly meal.

If you are looking for a large restaurant with large portions and large amounts of bears of all kinds of sizes and types with not very large prices in this economy, but with large amounts of wonderful flavor, you have found the place. An important note is that if you don't order the chicken fried steak, you are out of your mind.

Truly, this chicken fried steak is extraordinary. Highly recommended. The grits are divine as well. The pancakes are stellar, too.

The food was hot and fresh. Service was great as well. Our server kept our coffee full at all times, which was a 10 in my books, and was always around in case you needed something.

Tony was our server today and he did a great job. I’ve been going to this diner ever Saturday morning between 8-10 am for a few months. The food is always delicious, and the servers are really good too!

I came with my neice today to redeem my free breakfast for my birthday and it was super packed, but despite that everyone was on top of it and our wait time was not very bad at all!! We were lucky enough to have Josh as our server. He was a knight in shinning breakfast!! Full disclosure, I am not a paid actor. Josh was on top of his game. He apologized constantly for the wait times, and it looked like he had so many tables!! But we were treated as though we were the only table. His attention and service was unmatched. He made us feel so appreciated for coming in and voiced that as well! I have never felt so appreciated for coming in to a restaurant & on top of that he gave me a free dessert for my birthday! He is the standard that all service should be measured by. Ive visited this location before, and will definitely be back and 45/10 request Josh's section!!

Our server Andrea was AMAZING! We were a bigger, loud group with kids, and she kept a smile and great attitude the entire time! Our demands never stopped from needing more drinks (because the others got spilled, which is frustrating for anyone cleaning up after us) to needing more crayons, and ordering more & more food after our original food was delivered to whatever. The food was great, as it always is at this place. Thank you for being so kind to my family & for a great experience, Andrea!

We came on a Friday night. Relatively busy and the wait after we were seated was slightly longer than usual. The food was amazing, portion sizes are huge for the price and staff was friendly and personable. Great experience all around. We got the Bigfoot chicken fried steak, waffle, and biscuits and gravy with some lemonade. Everything was hot and correct.

Andrea was a great server. She helped us understand what was in things we had questions about. She made sure everyone got their meals quickly and was attentive to our needs. We'd love to have her serve us again!

As always, the food is reasonably priced . When the place is packed, there is a bit of a wait. The staff are friendly and work hard for your good dining experience. The atmosphere is delightful. Love the fresh squeeze orange juice. We have been here several times recently. Jayden, Tucker, and Andrea are wonderful and delightful servers.

It was my first time at the Orem location, and I enjoyed the food quality much more than at a location in Sandy. The bacon was crunchy, the French toast was great, my wife liked the eggs Benedict, and the kids portion of the scrambled eggs with ham and cheese was huge. Everything was fresh and hot.

We would go back and recommend this location.

Our most recent experience at Black Bear was above expectations. We usually visit about once a month and this time our server Sarah made it one of our best yet! She was very attentive and friendly. Our food portions were above average and the food was hot, fresh and delicious.

My friend and I had a great experience at Black Bear Diner. Our food was prepared quickly and tasted great. Our waiter was Tucker and he was the best! He was always asking if we needed anything. Tucker and his coworkers were very friendly and provided great service.

Writing to review our service experience at Black Bear Diner in Orem, UT today. The food is typical diner food and always delicious. Our server today, Tucker, was exceptionally attentive and cheerful. We’ve been to this location several times, but today was our 1st time being served by him. He had a friendly conversation with us, he thoroughly knew the menu, we received our food quickly and he checked on us several times during our visit to be sure we had what we needed. Truly, excellent service Tucker! Thank you!

Great service and even better food. I went with my grandparents and I got the Denver omlet. (Highly reccommended). My grandma got the chicken avocado sandwich. And my grandpa got the largest burger they had. We all loved our food and we will definitely be going back there. (Also the food looks better in person than on camera.) Try to get the server Eden. She gives spectacular service!

Good food, atmosphere, and friendly waiters.
I enjoy the large variety of options, including the all day breakfast that can be fully customized. Especially these days, I feel like the food here is affordable and delicious.

Five stars is not enough for how amazing Andrea was tonight! She made the entire visit so enjoyable. She was fantastic with the kids (and us kids at heart) she was patient and very entertaining. I'll definitely be back because of her!!
