The washers did its job😁

They have really started keeping it cleaner. I live in Forest City and in the summertime I use it on a weekly basis, because I am camping at Pammel Park. I have noticed they are staying on top of their game in fixing the washers and dryers and cleaning up more often.

Just trouble finding a good dryer

Does the job & is a lot cleaner than the Algona laundromat. I’ve found the washing machines on the left side do the best job. Some of the machine linings have a bit of mold. The floors could benefit from some more frequent sweeping and the trashcans some more periodic emptying.

First washer didn’t work and we lost money. One of the dryers we used didn’t work so lost money on that, too. No contact info posted. Theres a sign asking you to fill out a slip of paper with my contact information and the box to put it in isn’t secure. So anyone can now get my phone number and address. I have not heard from them yet.

Good place... but watch for some of the machines..

I met one of the owners of this laundromat. As a business owner, I have recommendations:
-make sure the AC works
-if there are rugs at the doors, vacuum or replace the filthy, broken rugs
-attach missing baseboards using screws since the nails are popping out along with the trim
-WASH the floors and tables daily
-Wash the dirty baseboards
-remove the cobwebs in the corners
-6 chairs and 11 working washing machines
-have service stop by once a month, don’t WAIT for machines to break down.
-The walls still have blue painter’s tape from the last time the walls were painted.
-Replace (using screws) the missing baseboards
-Empty the trash and WASH the trash receptacles daily
-Spend an hour in the bathroom with proper cleaning supplies
-Number your machines so when we call the emergency phone numbers that are posted on the wall, you will know which machine just ate our money, which machine has malfunctioned, which machine’s coin box is full
-wash the machine fronts and tops
-empty the full coin boxes…this is a for profit business?
-Dryer buttons don’t work
-owner lives a block away and did not stop by to return our lost money.
-Weed and sweep the exterior front of the laundromat
-sweep the loose river rock between the parking lot and front door
-This place needs TLC
-Put a functioning lock on the bathroom door
-fix the leaking roof to fix the crumbling interior walls
-laundromat owners need to read and respond to reviews

The owners need to get together to clean, paint, repair/add trim weekly or they need to sell the BubbleMat.

Many machines out of order ; no one to call to report lost money. Not the cleanest laundromat either .

Half the machines are broken

One star is being generous. Most of these front loading washers have a repulsive amount of mildew actively growing on the gaskets. Do yourself a favor and be sure your laundry needs are already taken care of when you come to visit Forest City, IA.

This place is the only place in town to do laundry. There is machines broken everywhere. The place is filthy and stinks. Nobody has cleaned it in weeks.

disgustingly dirty. I walked out and did NOT do my laundry here. Machines were smelly, moldy, crusty and half of them had what appeared to be dog hair in them. Garbage has not been emptied for quite some time. I was there on a Tuesday morning. I drove 11 miles to go to another laundromat in Garner. It was worth it.

Not a good place. 5.50$ for lg load but don’t stop the machine or you’ll be paying another 5.50$ . Nice customer let us know which machines were not working. 4 out of the 5 we needed didn’t work. 4$ for regular load. Other customers waiting on the larger machine. Ridiculous.

Two of the dryers I used did not get hot at all did not work!!
There’s no number to call anybody!
Worst place ever!!

This place is filthy. Machines are dirty and stinky and floor is filthy.
