The steak was amazing for $30. The burger was also delicious. There was a band setting up (Friday night) when we left. fun vibes!

I had been to O'Darbys in the past, working for a musical group creating video content for them.
This time, on 2/17/24, I was performing with Donna Angelle playing Zydeco music.
Both times, the atmosphere, service, and food were great!
Definitely recommend O'Darbys for food, fun, and dancing!

Great burger, & Monday and Friday are Steak Night! They also feature live entertainment most evenings. Smooth dance floor!

Absolutely amazing Steaks and cold beer good music

Didn't eat here, but this is about as authentic as you can get for a rural night spot in Cajun and Zydeco country. Saw a great Zydeco band. Definitely a real treat for me as an out of state guy.

The steak was one of the best that I've ever tasted! Luckily I spilt it because it was huge. There was a DJ playing music much louder than it needed to be.

The best steaks ever, they melt in your mouth, you just have to try one, also the burgers are delicious too!!!!

Steak night every Monday and Friday, steaks are to die for.
There is a menu also but the burgers are top notch. I drive an hour from home at least once a week to get their food.

Scotty cooks an amazing steak on Monday nights,... My fiance and I sit in the back, where there is a bar, sufficient staff to take your steak order as well as drink order, your choice of seating, bar or picnic table... (Picnic tables are are strategically placed for a romantic dining with a significant other or a little less formal gathering with close friends with a push button juke box, and a fire place kindled with the soothing smell of oak embers ) OR you also have a more traditional country / Cajun ho-down party choice.... Inside there are tables that seat up to 5 comfortably, a bar that stretches clear across the service area, and directly in the middle is a hardwood dance floor, to accommodate you and your partner's need to get that weekend cardio in and to show off those latest dance moves. Robert Darby, whom I might add has and will always be there to meet and greet his customers! Always decked out in his crisp ironed western shirt, tightly creased jeans, polished boots, belt buckle and of course, his cowboy hat and his friendliest smile. Before the live band begins to tune up, and does their sound checks, you will notice Rob has his routine "checks" as well... Staff, every one must be on time, ready and focused. on timely delivery of your drinks, acknowledging a customer even if you can not get to them in that exact moment, and always service with a smile! The live entertainment has always been a key attraction for his business, from local musicians who are well known for thier Cajun French lyrics down to the good ol country or rock and roll... Entertainers here love to interact with the costumers. Your requests for music is always taken into consideration from the band members to either play or to learn. Rob is all about giving customers what they like... So if there is something you want to hear, something you'd like to see on their menu,... ( his wife cooks all the ready go food and the gumbo is amazing! The burgers too! Mmmmm!) and all the food is cooked to your specified liking upon ordering, or if you just want to hang out, drop in eat a steak,( or call one in and have it ready when you get there) dance off those calories and wash it down with a cold one... Rob has all the amenities to accommodate you and your desired fun every night of the wk. Open 7 days a week! Call in orders are also welcome.

The best place u can go for down home southern cooked meals.
The staff and the owners are very friendly. I highly recommend that you stop by.
