I use Rustic Renegade for my FFL transfers and this time it was for one of my dream firearms, a Colt Delta Elite 10mm. Transfer fees are a little pricier than some others, but worth it for the convenience (right around the corner from my house), the quick and hassle free transfers, and the great shopping while waiting for a background check to be completed. Caleb and his team are extremely knowledgable and friendly making every trip there a pleasureable experience. Go for a visit and see for yourself, you won't regret it.

The questions I had were answered promptly and with great patience. Not only did the staff help me, they took a little time to teach me. The Rustic Renegade isnt like the other gun shops where you are treated different because your knowledge (or lack there of) does not match their expertise. I am truly impresssed with this place and will continue doing business with them.

Great place and knowledgeable, mostly veteran staff that's very friendly and hardly ever grouchy. Lol The in house gunsmith is friendly and very good at what he does. They treat me almost like family every time I walk in. They have a great selection of guns, ammo , accessories , knives , tomahawks , coffee, cologne ,and soap. They even sell syrup and other stuff. There's even a tomahawk range out back...
So what are you waiting for...get over there have some darn good coffee and enjoy the experience..

If I had to choose only one gun shop in the Lafayette area, this would be the place. A large and knowledgeable staff (the vast majority of whom are veterans), extensive selection including items I have not seen in other places, and a great atmosphere. The feel of the place really lives up to the "Rustic" in their name, with the interior being a mix of old time flavor with modern amenities.

Just be prepared that your wallet might take some damage. That they actually have some items which other locations tell you they can't get will tempt you to spend more than you planned on.

The atmosphere was very pleasant. And the gentleman took is time,and explained everything to me. I'm very pleased. And I would like to continue doing business with them.

The Rustic Renegade if you’re man and you haven’t been there, you need to get there. Everything that you could possibly ever want under one roof the rustic renegade has some of the best most knowledgeable staff that I’ve ever encountered. They truly care if you leave happy and want to make sure that your purchase is not something that you don’t need. They want to make sure that you leave with exactly the right thing for you without being concerned about making a boatload of money on every sale. They are fair. Their prices are competitive and they don’t sell junk; quality gear for the outdoorsman sport shooter or just the novice looking to get into firearms. The only place I shop when I’m looking for a knife or rifle or just a good cup of coffee and a good conversation.
