Special shout out to the manager on duty today! Thank you for helping my husband and I obtain his paystubs for a very important event happening in our lives even though he works at a different location you didn't hesitate to help us! The amount of care and compassion you showed is commendable and you are one of the greats and I have no doubt that you will go very far in life!! Thank you and God bless 🙌 Good leaders help their own but the best leaders help ALL!

I live in Centralia, Illinois and our McDonald's sucks. So does the service. So we drive about 15 miles to Salem, Illinois and here lately their food and service is getting bad. Was in Carlyle, Illinois doing Christmas shopping and thought I would try McDonald's. Omg I was shocked! Food was fresh! Fries was hot and fresh. Fish sandwich was actually on the bun instead of thrown together and thrown in the box. Food was really good. Guy who took my order and my money was nice and friendly but the guy who handed me my food was very unfriendly. I definitely will eat here again. I just wish it wasn't so far away from where I live.

We went through the drive thru and service was fast with no waiting

I had a big order, and received it quickly. food was good quality.

Took my daughters after a softball game, everyone was really nice and food was fresh and we overall enjoyed our experience, my youngest daughter dropped her fries and one of the workers used a coupon for a free fry for her!

Making this because today I could tell their team was frustrated. The 618 area isn’t known for having good McDonalds locations, but since I’ve lived in carlyle, this one has been satisfactory. They’ve never messed up my order and the food is consistently good. I hadj worked in customer service for 6 years and food service for 1 year so I can understand not every day is a good one. I hope this team gets the help they need because I genuinely like this McDonalds location. Good service and consistent food. 5/5

I will say this to everyone I am a deliver driver for many McDonald's .so please do not be upset at the slow service you receive at McDonald's. I know for a fact that most of them are short staffed and only have 3 employees total some days .so if you have a little wait wait patiently 😳and try not to be upset at the workers they are doing a great job pushing that food out as fast as they can being so short staffed

Came there on 6/19 near closing, they were very busy, yet they gave us everything we needed and there was this one guy apologizing for the wait, but he gave us sauce too, give him a raise good dude.

Friendly staff, warm food and a nice meal. Good Job McDonalds!!

The drive thu is so slow and have to wait so long then if they get the order right when they give to u it a plus but food is always hot and the looks of the burgers ate good

Not a fan of McDonald's in general, or Carlyle at all. But I was very impressed with my visit. Being right off the highway, and being New Year's eve eve, the lot was immaculate, the store clean, even the bathrooms were amazing. Dining in, our food was served immediately, and the young woman even apologized for any wait, (there was none). The staff was polite, and while obviously busy, even seemed to be in a generally good mood, not something usually seen in fast food. When in the area, 5/5 would visit again, if even just for my kids.

Been here many times when I am running freight from St Louis to other areas near by.
Always hot, as in almost burn your mouth hot.
I've never had that at a McDonalds before because it's never truly fresh...

This place makes it FRESH! I will continue to stop by for a bite to eat when in the area.

The food was fresh and tasted great. The employees got it to us fast and were nice.

This McDonald's has completely been renovated recently. Very clean and staff was very nice.

I ran in for a quick bite and Rhiannon dropped what she was doing to take care of me. You know, you just don't get service like that anymore. It blew me away. I hope the right people see this and your good deed does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

Same old story , a bunch of kids running a business with no idea what to do. Floors are dirty along with the flies, enjoy !, FOLLOW UP, recently went back, the place has been remodeled it won't be long and the place will be filthy, the employee's don't see the need to keep things clean they would rather play on their phones.

I have worked at McDonald's and I have eight at a lot of McDonald's and I have to say this is one of the very best ones I've been in a long time I was really happy with everything the food the customer service and the speed thank you keep up the good work
