Town Square Cafe & Bakery

Amazing place with welcoming folks. We loved the place, and the food was awesome! I had salmon patties, brussel sprouts, sweet potato, with a "baby" vegie omlet. Wife had a veggie omlet with hash browns. And the bisquits! Oh my! Dinner was very reasonable at $21 for both of us.

If you look at the outside of this place you might drive right by. If you are smart you will stop and enjoy one of there many omelets. We all agreed a bit shabby inside but the breakfast omelets were the best we have ever had. The biscuits Were quite delicious too. Our waiter (may have been owner)was good and food came out pretty fast. The pastries look good but the omelets were just being enough to gill us up. I believe they were 3 egg omelets. So a great place for breakfast in Tellico Plains!

They have crushed ice and sell it by the 10lb bag for very cheap. Their sweet tea is delicious. Breakfast was amazing and the hash browns were phenomenal! The staff was very friendly.

My favorite place to drive to! Everything is excellent (try the pizza!) and the atmosphere is exactly what you want when visiting a small town in TN. Staff is so friendly and even when they are busy they take a moment to chat with you while filling your order. We drive there often just to get away.

The MOST wonderful staff and customers! As new travelers to the area (and always want local!) we stumbled upon Town Square Cafe on a sleepy Saturday afternoon. Those pies...sigh. The blueberry had the perfect amount of tartness! The apple popover perfectly frosted...and gone in a flash. Coffee hot, tea water served hot. The owners were so friendly, and the customers loquacious...absolutely loved our visit to this historical part of Tellico Plains.

We stumbled upon this bakery after driving the Cherohala Skyway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Awesome family environment. We were welcomed with open arms and enjoyed hearing stories from the owners!! The food is delicious and reasonably priced! Best onion rings I've ever eaten! We also got lucky and visited on a day that they had some Amish cinnamon rolls! YUMMY! I will definitely be back on my next trip!

The Cotton Picking Inn..First time there for a 55th luncheon with friends. Definitely will not be the last! I will be broadcasting Via word of mouth to others bragging on it. Friendly and just flat overall great service with a smile! The meals and appetizers were awesome! Don't forget the pies with ice cream! Will be going back soon!

It's off the beaten path family diner. Found it because of Google. Great place for breakfast. Food was great! It had nice touches with antiques fixed to the walls and the owner treats you like family.

We love the food and the folks who own and run Town Square Cafe even more! Going to the cafe is a strong tradition in our yearly trips to Tellico Plains! They are the very definition of good food hospitality!

The omelettes were wonderful! Great hashbrowns. Pancakes yum! Sausage and gravy wow, grilled. Chicken sandwich wonderful!
