Trading Post Appliances

Ice cream was soft in refrigerator freezer in the garage.
I turned up the thermostat and called Trading Post at 8:30 PM on a Sunday night and left a message asking if they had a used one and how soon it could be here tomorrow assuming delivery for a new one elsewhere would take at least a week.

Twenty minutes later a repair man called, I believe his name was Jess, and said the fridge isn't broken it's the temps outside and explained what freezers were designed to do when it’s too cold, warm up, and to put my food inside the garage door and it will stay frozen & as soon as it warms up outside I will be able to put all back!
1)Why would they look at a message late on a Sunday night?
2)Why wouldn’t they wait until Monday to call me back?
3)Why would they be so honest vs selling me a refrigerator and sending me the replacement tomorrow ?

I was in such a hurry to do as they told me I didn’t write down the man’s name…I believe it was Jess….I’m going to confirm that and go out there to thank him and because of the honesty get business cards for friends and neighbors and my future needs so we can do business with such honesty as this at Trading Post !

I inherited an old washer/dryer. I've always heard the older ones are better than new, but the washer needed to be repaired. I called Trading Post and Jessie answered. I described what the washer was doing and he said it could be one of four things. Then immediately listed all four possibilities of the issue. He was able to come out the next day and fix it within an hour. Jessie is truly a master of his craft. Honest and up front about what he will do and what the pricing will be. I highly recommend using Trading Post Appliances either for repairs or buying appliances directly from them. My mother and grandfather have both used Trading Post and had great results as well. Any issues I ever have, I will always go to Trading Post Appliances after this great experience.

These guys are awesome. They don't beat around the bush and they tell you exactly what you're getting. I wanted a bare bones washer and dryer because I don't want the issues (or the price tag) that new ones seem to have these days. That's exactly what I got. They're not pretty but who cares. They work great and the price was definitely right. Had some noise from the dryer after installation and Aaron came back and fixed it no questions asked. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a washer or dryer.

These guys are great!! My washer went out and was unrepairable. I called Jessie on Wednesday and he had me a great used one by Friday! Today, Saturday, I’ve done three loads so far and it’s working great! I had thought about a new one but they just don’t make things like they used to. Most have computers and don’t last much over two years. Very mixed reviews on new ones I looked at. As long as these guys are around, I will always call them. Very friendly, they are very affordable and have a 90 day warranty. What more could you want?! We also bought from their dad before them. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

First time I went to this store, I was looking for a replacement knob for my dryer. They didn't have an exact match for me, but Aaron gave me a knob from a broken dryer that would work and allow me to use my dryer. I was willing to pay for it, but he just told me to take it. I was truly surprised. They did have a good selection of used appliances that looked to be in great shape. They also service appliances.

I called Jessie about a problem with my older model washer. Since it's a good one, and one you can't find anymore, he said he'd like to take a look and see about fixing it. He came to my house and decided it was worth fixing and he could rebuild it for me instead of me buying a new one or a used one from him, and it would be an affordable price range for me. He took it from my house and brought it back within the timeframe quoted. He also stuck with the original price he quoted me. Him and his business partner are super nice, friendly, and good people. I would recommend this business to everyone. A trustworthy legit small business that I would support again

Over a month and my washer is working fine. They even came out to my house to look at something I was concerned about which didn't require any service. I got the impression that both the Dyson brothers that work there are good people. I would use this store again.

Go here when you need an appliance! I needed a washer and dryer to take to the lake. You know how washers and dryers used to wash and dry better, lasted longer and were built better? Jesse will build you an appliance with those parts that were built better and you end up with a reconditioned appliance that works better than the new stuff that is sold now and you also get a warranty. He's been doing this forever (dad started the business) and he'll tell you exactly how it is. Prices are comparable to the online garage sales and you don't know what you're getting with them. You can also tell him when you want it - now or in a month. He was a great find.

My washing machine crashed and burned. My husband found these guys on line. We went to check out there inventory and opted to get a revamped washer from here. Aaron was just great! He was over to my house 3 different times and was willing to come again. Aaron and his brother delivered the revamped washer, took the old washing machine and didn't charge for the service. I was quit pleasantly surprised. We could have gone to Home Depot and had a service charge for the delivery and another for the removal of the old machine, paying nearly as much for the service as the machine.

Within 3 hours of calling, I have a fully operational washing machine for a fair price. Our washer stopped working properly, so I called Trading Post. Over the phone, they were able to tentatively diagnose the problem, give a price for the fix, and schedule the repair for the same day. Came by and fixed it really quickly, couldn’t recommend enough!

Great consultation over the phone about my broken GE Washer. With GE's "built-In obsolescence" washers, Jesse made it clear I shouldn't waste time and money fixing it. I purchased a quality re-manufacture washer from Trading Post Appliance. That saved me a ton of money and wasted time. Thanks Jesse!

I bought a stove for my daughter a few months back. I didn't have a lot to spend at the time , and the owner worked out a deal with me on an older stove. He had just gotten this one in but still went through it and I came back the next day and picked it up. Still works well and I will definitely be back soon as she is in need of a washing machine.

I called Jessie about my dryer it was not getting hot told him the parts that I had already replaced on there he told me the last thing it could possibly be while I talk to him on the phone he walked me through exactly what I needed to do.I did it my dryer started to get hot I had to replace the fuse to the housing he told where to go get the part and everything I was able to get a lot of Laundry done Thanks to his knowledge he was very patient and knew exactly what I needed Big Shout out to Jessie!!

I have used these guys 20 plus years! I have bought several washer and dryer from them over the years and they have never let me down! ( I have bought several because I like to move a lot ) lol...

Very helpful and friendly!!!!! Talked to them on phone after our washer broke down. They suggested bringing the washer out to there store to save money. They will come to your house also. Took washer out there this morning. Motor was burned out. They replaced it and I was back on my way home in less than an hour. All for $100!!!! Have hooked washer back up and it works like new!!!!😁😁😁

They are honest and price their appliances fairly. They always have a limited warranty on their products, which I actually had to use. It was not problem at all, he came out, looked at the refrig and said he would simply give me another one.

Walked right in talked to Jesse about needing a new burner for my stove. He knew exactly what I needed! In and out in less than 5 mins. He even showed me what else could be wrong if burner doesn't have power. So thankful there is still honest good people in this world. Thanks!

After a different company was a no call, no show to come fix my washer this guy messaged me back and forth for over an hour helping me locate a problem. Even sent me a video of what he thought it may be. Offering multiple times to be out here to help me first thing in the morning. He was 100% right on what it was without even seeing it! It was an easy fix that I did myself because I wanted to see if I could, but would not have been able to even attempt it if it weren't for this guys knowledge and compassion to help out . In the future I will be calling him first and definitely recommending him and his company to my family and friends . Again, thank you for everything!!

Jesse is a great person to work with, explained everything and even showed us what was going on with my washer. Very reasonable rates. Trading post has our business.
