Katia was an excellent waitress. The restaurant was swamped when we got there there was only one table it was a 8 place so the waitress was nice enough to split the table up to two tables for us so we could be seated. Taco Tuesday $2 tacos $16 for a picture of margaritas 12.00 for nachos supreme $8 for a nice sized serving of guacamole and their chips and salsa the only little gripe is sour cream was extra dollar. Everything was delicious I wish the nachos would have come out before the tacos but it was okay. But all the food was excellent good flavors fresh taco shells excellent meet excellent right amount of cheese their sauces very good they're guacamole is excellent the staff is is very personable

Fantastic place! Some of the best customer service and food preparation and presentation. It is a very clean and comfortable environment and the food was absolutely amazing, not too expensive either. They deserve ALL the tips!

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. The only thing that out beat the ambience was the food. It had amazing flavor and the portions were just right. The margaritas were definitely the star of the show. Service was good and the manger was exceptional, so attentive to our table and the ones around us. 10/10 would come again and definitely bring my friends ❤🫶💕

It had been quite some time since I had eaten at El Tucan. I had been away due to traveling. I was so happy that everything was as amazing as I remembered. Our waitress was very sweet and on top of things. The food was most delicious. Definitely get a slice of flan for dessert. It is homemade and a perfect ending. Expect a little wait though cause the place is always packed.

I know a lot of people are upset that the restaurant is under new ownership and quite a few people have said that this place is no good anymore but it's really really great. Just because it may be different than before it doesn't mean that it's bad. We always have great, attentive service and the food is delicious

We have been coming here for years. Pork mojo is my favorite, insanely good! My wife and I can't go more than a month without coming back. The guacamole is really fantastic also. My wife loves the Squeeze Rita because it is a lot less sweet than standard margarita. They have a good lunch menu, but some of them items are the same price as regular entrees. I got a pork (do you notice a theme) chimichanga for lunch it was as expected delicious!

We just had the BEST Mexican food near Cocoa Beach!!! The restaurant is very clean with a large open area, the service was TOP NOTCH!! The food was absolutely the best and we are already looking forward to going back!! I highly recommend El Tucan in Merritt Island if you want the BEST mexican food and service and not a far drive from Cocoa Beach!! He had the burrito plate and I had the chicken quesadillas, our server was extremely knowledgeable with the menu and recommended some different options and even offered samples of the hotter sauce and my first green tea!! They do have daily specials and offer a lunch menu from 11am till 3pm I believe, as you can see in the pictures these portions could easily be shared.

Good fajitas..hot ,fresh good grilled onions and peppers and nice white meat chicken …wasn’t mysterious meat which you can find at most Mexican restaurants!

We have the absolute best time food is even better than ever great company service was amazing and the manager was absolutely on top of his game, and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend this place not to mention the best margarita.

Dakota is a rockstar! We had a party of 9 show up on a Saturday around 7pm. The place was busy but we were sat in a reasonable amount of time. The drinks were strong, the food was hot and the service was GREAT. Despite seeming short staffed on a busy night our server was all smiles and got all separate tickets right on the first go. This was in addition to clearing all tables and handling the people coming in. Fabulous night - highly recommend.

We dined at El Tucan for the first time this evening, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had Aubrey as our server, and she was so friendly and gracious. The menu had a lot of delicious sounding options, which made it difficult to make a decision, so we asked for her recommendations. Let me tell you, she did not steer us wrong! My parents ended up sharing the Pineapple Chicken, which was an incredibly unique and tasty dish. I went with the Chimichurri Steak which was juicy and cooked and seasoned to absolute perfect! It was also served with a side of sweet plantains, refried beans, and fluffy Mexican rice. Everything was hot and fresh, and wonderfully delicious.
We will definitely be returning to our new favorite Mexican restaurant very soon!

First time I have been here. The food was awesome, the service was exceptional and it is definately a place that we will come frequent again. Our Server Anthony was great.

My two go to items that I enjoy and I can rate a restaurant by are the tamales and the chile rellenos. These were the best tamales that I have ever had in my life. The chile rellenos we're definitely in the top three. This is a must stop at restaurant and I give it two thumbs up and will be back. And by the way, the flan is great too!

Recently Rediscovered El Tucan and you should too! New ownership/management is great, and food is even better. Salsa is on point and Baja Bowl is signature! 🤌 Will definitely be back!

Had a great time with my girlfriend, date night. The drinks were amazing,food was great, service was top-notch. We will be coming here frequently!

We ended up at El Tucan Mexican Restaurant after traveling over to Merritt Island to try out another restaurant which was closed when we got there. But that ended up being fortunate for us because we found this little gem instead.

Although they were not crowded when we arrived just after 5 p.m. on 03 June, 2021, they certainly were when we left. In fact, I noticed a time or two there were a few folks waiting to get a table. Our Server was Danielle and not only was she nice & friendly, she kept our drinks refilled and kept bringing us freshly made chips & salsa while we waited our order, and she maintained this top notch level of service throughout the meal even as the restaurant got busier and busier.

I ordered the Beef Chimichanga and two Beef Chile Rellenos. The Chimichanga was loaded with chunks of beef, cheese, and other tasty ingredients all rolled up in a floor tortilla and deep-fried golden brown. It was accompanied by a generous portion of mexican rice & refried beans, as well as some fresh lettuce, tomato, fresh jalapeno pepper slices, and sliced black olives. In retrospect, I think that pickled jalapenos may be a better choice and compliment the dish better, but it was something that I would order again. I frequently order Chile Rellenos when dining out at a Mexican Restaurant and these Chile Rellenos were the star of this meal and stole the show! While they fell short of the title belt for the 'Best I've Ever Eaten', they were certainly 'Top Five Contenders'. Also ordered Flan for desert and while it checked off all the points that you look for in Flan, it fell right in with your average Flan desert ... wasn't bad, but also wasn't anything to boast about.

Overall though, I can easily see why El Tucan Mexican Restaurant is highly rated and seems to be a very popular place to eat.

While the wait for food is the only thing I thought was a little long. The food itself was really good. Everything was hot Fresh and well flavored.

There were so many choices to choose from.

The salsa and chips were perfect. A crispy, corn crunch with a flavorful salsa-we almost filled ourselves, especially when the guacamole came out.

The meal was large, hot, and delicious. I ordered veggie fajitas. They came with grilled onions, peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, and cilantro. I chose pico de gallo to go with it. It was marvelous.

The ambiance is very relaxing and informal. We had such a good time we didn't realize they were closing.

Holy moly the portions are massive. Split unless you are really hungry. Everything our group got was delicious. The pork in particular was excellent. Salsa and chips are free but I recommend getting the queso dip to compliment them. It's like a small soup bowl size worth it. Couldn't find the menu online so I posted the photos here.
