East Harbor State Park

Thanks to the wonderful staff for maintaining this awesome place. Absolutely gorgeous. I can't imagine a better place to experience the total Eclipse. One of the most memorable adventures of my lifetime. Still can't find the words to describe the experience from this magnificent place. Traversed "hell AND high water" to get here. Blessed with an immemorable experience.

I love this place. Brought back so many memories from when I was a child. I missed this place as I have lived in AZ for the last 28 years. The water is still a little brownish after all these years in 2008. But still a beautiful place. Great for pic backdrops

Great campground right on the lake. Site c215 is our favorite. I've been there the last 2 years for Bird Week, and that site gets tons of little visitors.

This is hands down the best state park I have been to in Ohio and my absolute favorite. The hiking here boasts of a variety of trails from wooded/marshy to sandy/beach trails. This place is teeming with wildlife, wildflowers, and just sheer beauty. There are so many birds here of so many different varieties. I honestly can't say enough about this park. If you're looking for a place to come day hike, come here.

Beautiful campground on a beautiful lake. We will likely come back here sometime.

Love this place . Lots of wildlife. Bathrooms are clean . Play areas for the kids . Swimming area in the summer. Fishing. Camping with dog areas too. Trails to walk .

Beautiful shady pull through sites in the B loop. Nice paved bike path to Lake Erie. Pete are welcome and there are playgrounds scattered around the park.

Beautiful park with lots of parking on lake Erie. A nice cool breeze coming off the lake on a hot day with plenty of shade trees makes it a good spot for a picnic.

Such a great place to enjoy the sounds and views of nature, no matter what time of the year you go.

Love going to East Harbor! Always a relaxing stay! Although this time the showers needed a little more attention this time bc of mold growing in showers. Grew up coming here and it has always been a state park favorite. The employees were very nice and welcoming and lawns well kept.

Beautiful park! We stayed at the campgrounds, which is nice but entirely too tight for our liking. Luckily, our site was not backed up to anyone. We drove around the park, took our dogs for a walk, and were amazed at how large the park itself is. We will definitely return again and again.

Very nice Ohio State Park and campgrounds. Stayed a week at the campgrounds and had a great time. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The camp store has all the essentials, plus extras, and everything is reasonably priced. The bath houses are clean and there is fantastic water pressure in the showers. The dump station is outstanding but could use a trash can for disposal of rubber gloves after dumping tanks.

East Harbor is a great place for children as the water is shallow near the beach. You have to go out pretty far before the lake becomes deep. Pets are not permitted on the beach, but they are welcome in other areas of the park. Great campground and picnic areas!

A very nice community park with a narrow sandy beach and shallow sloping shoreline so that the water is shallow for 100 yards into the water. There are good bathrooms and an outside shower to rinse the sand off.

Will always be one of my favorite campgrounds!! I grew up coming here and bring my family eith me now. It's beautiful year round and if you can manage to get in for a Halloween weekend, it's a must!!

Great campground with a beautiful beach. We enjoy meeting up with family and friends at East Harbor.

A good place to spend your family day out. There are some small beaches and short bicycle trails. A lit of camping grounds are available and there is an RV park too.

Great place to spend time and relax. Campsites are clean, showers and toilets clean. Nice beach area to picnic and swim, boating, running, biking and hiking has it all!

Amazing state park. Relatively clean for a park of its type, and super dog friendly! We loved the dog beach and were able to go off leash with our two Aussies. Had an amazing time!

Beautiful and clean. Grills everywhere, camping area, convenient store, showers at the beach, hi can walk out for ages and it's still shallow..highly recommend!
