Hope has many locations now, and this is definitely on the smaller side, so make reservations if you want to pop in! We came in with a big group and a reservation, so all was fine, but they are strict on the reservation times, so do not expect to be seated early. The food is always decent, and the drinks always hit the spot! It's a fun place to go for a more expensive experience outside of the routine, and they change menu items periodically throughout the seasons.

This place completely ruined any other breakfast sandwich for me. Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! The toasted everything bagel was so good and the pimento cheese on it is so creamy and flavorful and blends so well with cheesy eggs and smokey bacon. We also tried the carrot cake pancakes and they are so good too! The spices in the pancake batter cut the rich sweetness of the cream cheese maple syrup and the nuts on top add a perfect little texture to the dish. The biscuits and gravy were ok, nothing to write home about. Everything else was amazing though. If you're coming on the weekend, definitely make a reservation online ahead of time.

Went for Easter Brunch. I've been on the hunt for good brunch spots in the Twin Cities as a college student who often needs a Sunday afternoon rally. After all the places I've tried, Hope may just be the best the city has to offer.

Hope, simply put, has its ducks in a row. The service is snappy. The 1-hr cap on dining time seems daunting, but you'll come to love it--it's a great way to keep customers coming in when certain types start sipping a little too slowly on their Captain Crunch cocktails. Being from the South, I'm used to brunch taking eons due to these types of tables. That's not an issue here! They're no-nonsense. Server was friendly and gave great recommendations. Every course was delicious and surprising.

We started with the Captain Crunch cereal milk Rumchata cocktail and raspberry lemonade--both of which were divine. Very strong flavors that taste exactly as advertised. Not too sweet despite what others have suggested. I got the pimento cheese scramble with bacon and baby monkey cakes--good lord. Everything was out-of-this world. The peanut butter syrup on the monkey cakes is like crack--again, I'm from Louisiana, so plate-licking dishes are a high bar for me. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles with the incredible jalapeno syrup (great dipping option for the bacon, too). He's a chicken and waffle fanatic and has gotten it at every brunch place we've been to--this is the best!

We will be coming back. Very reasonable prices considering the quality and inventiveness of the food as well as the excellent service and atmosphere.

Tucked in the busy downtown of St. Paul near Children's Hospital, Hope Breakfast Bar provides a big punch in a small package. Restaurant was previously a fire station that has been reworked into a small eatery. Space is pretty tight, and seating is limited, so reservations are a must.

We chowed down on the Bacon tacos, pillow pancakes, monkey pancakes, and the aptly named McHope sandwich. Custom lemonade, coffees, and adult beverages round out this hearty menu. Make sure you come with an empty stomach because portions are filling.

Fantastic service and amazing food will keep bringing us back to this amazing stop.

An Unforgettable Breakfast Experience at Hope Breakfast Bar Woodbury

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hope Breakfast Bar in Woodbury, and I can confidently say that it was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful meal.

The décor is modern yet cozy, with an inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The outdoor seating area is beautifully designed, offering a perfect spot to enjoy a meal on a pleasant day. The attention to detail in the landscaping and the overall layout truly enhances the dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely phenomenal! The menu boasts a variety of mouth-watering options, each dish more tempting than the last.

What truly sets Hope Breakfast Bar apart is their commitment to quality and creativity. Each dish is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are simply exquisite. I also sampled their signature Hope Pancakes, and they were hands down the best pancakes I've ever had – fluffy, light, and bursting with flavor.

The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and that our experience was nothing short of perfect.

In addition to the outstanding food and service, the sense of community at Hope Breakfast Bar is palpable. It's clear that this establishment values its patrons and strives to create a welcoming environment for everyone.

If you're in the Woodbury area and looking for an exceptional breakfast or brunch spot, look no further than Hope Breakfast Bar. It's a culinary gem that promises not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings!

Lots of good food options for both savory and sweet breakfast.

Big coffee drink menu, but the drip coffee is pretty good too.

Cool atmosphere at this location as it's small but two stories with exposed wood.

Parking is kind of tight, but not awful. Be prepared to park on the street and walk a couple of blocks.

We've been meaning to try Hope Breakfast bar for a long time, I'm glad we finally got there for brunch. Definitely get a reservation (you may even have to wait for a table past your reservation time).

The specialty coffee was outstanding - especially the Vietnamese coffee!

Our meals came out quickly, and I'd have to say the hashbrowns are some of the best (if not the best I've ever had). If you order the chicken and waffles (they are amazing), make sure to get all sauces on the side as the waffle was soggy (but still absolutely delicious).

Love what this establishment stands for and how they support their communities.

We'll be back soon!

Treat yourself, your family and your soul to a great breakfast this week at Hope Breakfast Bar. They just opened a new location in Woodbury - but there are other locations in St Paul, St Louis Park, Eagan, Edina, and at Gillette Children's.

This week, I had a perfect pairing of Vietnamese coffee and spicy tofu - but they have the best versions of pancakes and other breakfast classics. This pairing worked SO WELL because the subtle spices in the coffee, tofu spices, and a splash of hot sauce added to my breakfast blended in bites and sips. This is why you might see chef Brian Ingram competing on BEAT Bobby Flay in the new season. He’s really a wizard combining familiar and new breakfast flavors.

Did he beat Bobby? We’ll find out soon enough. Comfort food is Brian’s ‘jam’ and the mission of the Hope Restaurant Group. He takes this next level outside of his cooking and throughout his life — contributing comfort to those in need in our community and in his personal life. Brian’s heart and generosity is as big as his appetite and his passion.

Have a great holiday week. And, “Treat Yo’ Self” to a fine breakfast.

My Hawaiian Bowl was fantastic as was my coffee. My friend had the tostada breakfast and said it was spot on
Low marks on the atmosphere because the place is too noisy. I'm not a fan of that.
We were first offered a table upstairs - no elevator. My companion is disabled, so that was a hard no.
Still I recommend the he place.

I just love this place & hope I can return one day, especially to experience the fun drinks on the menu. Set up in an old repurposed firehouse, the restaurant has seating on two levels, bar seating, and outside. We had scrumptious breakfast including carrot cake pancakes, waffles, & a bowl filled with of doughnuts. Yum!

We had the granola bowl, donut basket, cheddar cheese French toast, and the breakfast tostada. All was delicious! For drinks we had the lavender matcha latte, peppermint matcha, and horchata cafe. Wish they had better parking. Highly recommend making a reservation so you can have a table

Outstanding food and service - Hope breakfast bar is arguably my favorite breakfast/brunch place in the twin cities because the menu is tempting from all sides: pancakes, savory bowls, breakfast sandwiches, espresso drinks, boozy drinks. Definitely get a reservation - seating is limited on the weekends.

Stopped here on our way out St Paul. I would recommend getting a reservation as this place was packed every time we walked by. I got the Horachata Cafe, Banana Churro Waffles and Cheesy Grits to share. Everything was delicious and the service was great. I loved that they donate 3% of their profits to nonprofits, too.

Goodness! If breakfast is your favorite meal like it is mine you will not be disappointed at Hopes. All the servers are astoundingly kind and Sophia A is a personal fav server of ours! Coffee is the best I have ever had (and believe me I have had a lot of coffee over the years). Highly recommend the banana churro waffle 🧇

What a phenomenal place to eat. Everything was absolutely spot on from the atmosphere to the food. We came here to celebrate after wedding dress shopping and it was so much fun. The mimosas were delightful, and the banana waffles I ordered were full of flavor. My only complaint would be that the music was a bit loud, difficult to make conversation.

One of my favorite places to eat! Such unique dishes and always delicious. I can never decide between sweet or savory breakfasts, so sometimes we order savory and share a sweet dish (and make sure we have food take home...) that's how good the food is!

So grateful to find Vietnamese Coffee here! It's my favorite and hard to find to since moving to MN. Also the biscuits and gravy were delicious with a wonderful mushroom gravy. The portions are huge. I could only eat half of my order. The music was all disco and rock when I went which was a nice pick me up on a snowy day.
