Dr. Lee was great and very knowledgeable about my rare condition, the rest of the staff I saw were friendly and helpful as well.

I have had excellent experience with these docs. Extra good at explaining things.

Getting my 1st appointment took 13 months. Once, they had to reschedule, twice I had to postpone. Each delay meant an additional required 90 day delay for a new patient. It was very frustrating! The staff was very pleasant and professional. The doctor was thorough and answered all my questions patiently. I did not feel rushed. However, I am having trouble scheduling my follow-up appointments, so I am concerned about how long it may drag out before I can get my issues resolved.

I had a sudden onset of hearing loss in my left ear, so I went in to have it checked out. After running a hearing test, and speaking with the doctor, they confirmed I had hearing loss and recommended a surgery to replace my stapes with a prosthetic. Well, I don’t have money for a surgery, and as I have one ear that hears, I really didn’t have any options.

Fast forward a few years, and I went in to my primary care physician for a checkup. I told her about my sudden hearing loss, and she said it was odd, because the surgery the ENT recommended is usually for elderly people who have had gradual hearing loss over decades, not sudden hearing loss. She also asked if I had a cold when it happened. Yes, I did, and I’m barely decades old, so nothings lining up.

Turns out I merely had a gummed up ear tube called the eustachian, and it was from that cold a few years earlier. A simple prescription of Flonase and antibiotics cleared up my ear, but unfortunately, only about 80% of my hearing came back because my condition had gone untreated, thanks to the knucklehead “doctors” at the Maine Medical Partners office in Biddeford.

I’m seriously so taken aback that their first recommendation was an irreversible, invasive, expensive surgery that wouldn’t have helped my hearing problem, at all. In fact, because I had a slight infection, a surgery would’ve made my ear issues much, much worse!!

I just feel so taken advantage of, and even vulnerable because you should be able to trust your doctor! Why would this office jump to the most drastic measure first, if it wasn’t just to fleece me out of ten thousand dollars??!!!

You can only trust this office to act in their own interests to line their own pockets. Jokes on them because I’m too rich for Obamacare or MercyCare and too poor for private insurance, and also too poor to pay for surgery out of pocket. So, they only stole the money I paid for my two office visits. Otherwise, my pocketbook and my ear were safe from their clutches.

Even with the slight permanent hearing loss due to their greed, negligence and incompetence, I’m counting my blessing.

The moral of the story: find another office.

Both myself and my grandson have had to deal with this practice. In the last month they have messed up my appointment and his 3 times each. They set up appointments then when you get your paperwork, completely different times are written on them. When you call to find what happened to the appointment you originally had I was told "I have no idea" and they keep pushing it off. My 2 year old grandson was supposed to be referred to pediatric ent because he already had hearing test and instead try to give him another hearing test after waiting a month just to get in. The audiologist was arrogant. Rude and condescending. I have never in my life dealt with a physician practice like this one

A new appointment date and time. I went to the appointment and had a Biopsy doneIn the office.I made an appointment While I was at the officeTo find out the results of my test. I called the office to check the day and time and they told me I had canceled my appointment. I told them I hadn't. They said yes at the first of August. I they said I never made a new appointment. I told them I was in two weeks ago. And wouldn't give me a new appointment. So I couldn't get the results of my test. I will never go back there or Recommend that office To anyone. The office worker was the same person who made the appointment and talk to me face to face the day I want to my appointment. I couldn't get the woman to believe that I was ever there. She said they had no record of me being there. So for all I know I could have CANCER and not know it.

The people here are just rude, I had a appointment today for my right ear having problems. So I show up and Faye the audiologist does the hearing test and she is very controlling and does not like you talking, then when she finished the test she said “wow you really do have hearing loss” almost as if I was lying, then I see the dr his name was John when he walked in a asked him how he was doing and was completely ignored no wave no answer nothing, he then proceeds to sit on the computer for about ten minutes without saying a single word to then go on and look at my left ear witch apparently has a infection so he prescribed drops and said I could leave.... without even acknowledging the problem I came in for and everything I said was wrong. Overall they need to change their attitude towards patients
