This is my go-to restaurant in Kirksville. The food is great and the price is perfect for a broke college student. A big breakfast meal (two sunny side up eggs, half biscuits n gravy, hash browns & sausage) ends up being around $6. Plus they have 75 cent coffee!!

Good home cooked meals and good service. Not the fanciest decor but clean and well maintained building with a lot more seating than one might suspect looking at the size of the building. Menus do vary some through time but I've never left disappointed with the food or the service I received.

Locals recommended the fried chicken since it's Tuesday and that's fried chicken day. So I went with that and was not disappointed! Excellent fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Kid got a waffle and said it was the best waffle of her life.

Love it. Great for breakfast. Dollar coffee with purchase. It's a lovely, bright, family friendly diner. Simpler menu makes most things fantastic. Lunch specials are really solid too.

A cute little cafe with great food and even better service! Our waitress was very friendly and kept our coffee full, which is not an easy task with how fast we drink it.
I would recommend this cafe.

Great experience at Rosie’s today. Didn’t know till we got there, but today’s special was Fried Chicken. My sister and I both had it and it was very good. It’s hard to pick, but probably the best thing about Rosie’s was our server, Brian. He is the server every restaurant should have. Great server, good food, clean establishment. I’ll sure be back. We wore our masks in and no one said anything to us.

Food was fine but not remarkable.i had to ask for milk... Non-dairy powdered creamer was only thing provided on the table. French toast was serviceable, omelette pretty good. Lots of American cheese on the menu, so food is basic. Clean, Pleasant environment with slightly odd decor. Service wasn't great. Things like meals arriving at different times with no apology or explanation. No silverware without the request. And no real welcome or courtesy from the server. That could have been just our waitress. There aren't many choices for breakfast in Kirksville so this one is reasonable, but not terrific.

All the food is made from scratch. The waitress did an absolutely fantastic job. I asked what type of oil they used in the fryers and she went to look it up for me and then went out of her way to insure that my food allergies were addressed and the food was cooked properly.

Rosie's is one of the best places for breakfast in town. Their french toast ranks as one of my top 7 foods in Kirksville! Can't go wrong with the Bulldog special (2 pieces of French toast, 2 eggs, bacon, and hash browns). Great place for breakfast with family/friends, and they also have daily specials for every meal.

The pie is homemade and delicious. I've never had a bad meal here and the service is great. Plus it's family owned and you can tell they care about their customers.
