I went on a walk and came across this place unexpectedly. I decided to grab a coffee and some breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast and lavender mocha. The toast was more food than I expected which was great for the price. The mocha was delicious. The atmosphere was chill coffee shop vibes. Lots of customers were having meetings or chatting with friends. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Consistently great coffee and service. Tried the Morning Cure breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. My husband had the Smoked Rosemary Club and said it was one of the best sandwiches he’s had.
There is plenty of seating inside and outside. All around great coffee shop!

This is my second time here. I love all Cure Coffeehouses (Smithfield, Norfolk), so it's no epiphany that I love the ambiance of this location. What's there not to love. Large windows and doors overlooking the Town Center fountains. Seating example with long bench along the back wall. It's the most spacious , centrally located bar area in the middle, plenty of staff to greet you and take your order and fulfill them. Today I ordered the candied orange latte (yum) and the southwest breakfast sandwich to go. Definitely a destination when you drive to Newport News!

Great spot with a casual vibe that’s modern enough to use for a work lunch, but cozy enough for a brunch date. View of the fountain from inside, outdoor seating and thoughtful menu options make it great! They bring the drinks and food to you, but it’s up to you to buss your own table. Lots of fun latte options including the mexi mocha (mocha with cayenne) and churro. The lox bagel is one of my faves and these special Father’s Day tacos were *chefs kiss* and vegan as an added bonus!

This is a fantastic place to relax for the day! The atmosphere is easy-going and quiet.
I got their special drink, Peachy-o, which is an Arnold Palmer with Peach flavoring added. It's very sweet and has a sharp lemon flavor. It's made with Green Tea!
I also got their Granola, it has Greek yogurt, their Granola, a nice drizzle of Honey, and today they used Blueberries!

The staff are so kind and let me know that I could stay here for as long as I'd like after I placed my order.
I thoroughly enjoy the inclusivity with the Pride Flags hung in the shop, letting me know I'm safe to be myself here. 🖤

This is a great place of your looking to get some work in, in a relaxed atmosphere. The counter people where freindly and they made my drinks in no time. I love my Chai tea latte's or my Chai Tea and Green Tea Matcha smoothies which they make some of the best if you like em. I'm a vegetarian so they had my Almond milk and Oat milk options.

I highly recommend this place to my coffee, tea and wine drinkers. I great place to have a meeting or just catch up with freinds and family.

So glad I finally stopped by! It’s my new favorite spot. Their coffee is excellent and the sandwhich/bagel options are to die for!! (they also offer gluten free bagels and several vegan/vegetarian options). The vibe is excellent and the staff has always been friendly and inviting. Sure it’s pricey, but the quality is worth it. Highly recommend!

I really enjoy this Cure Coffeehouse location in City Center. The breakfast, brunch, and lunch options are great, and the design of the shop is simple, yet clean and spacious. This is a great place to meet with friends and/or family or to do some homework/online work. I'm definitely going to be back for more coffee and food. This is a great addition to Newport News.

Cure is so much more than just coffee. It’s a vibrant meeting place for the community. In addition to their very good coffee they have a diverse selection of other drinks including 🍹 🍸 cocktails. The view of the fountains is perfect for a morning meditation or an evening walk. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

The best speciality coffee in town I guess I tried some coffee in Newport but in my opinion this is the best one and I I ordered cortado with half and half milk.. the taste was so nice.. thanks for the service and I will definitely return to this coffee

I totally prefer local coffee shops like this over just going to your average Starbucks 🥰

Just had the best experience here. JUNE was our fabulous barista they did not steer us wrong. Signature iced latte with honey cinnamon and the best note of lavender added in the mix. The cold brew that we ordered was so smooth and on point. Both were made at the desired sweetness levels we requested. Thanks so much!!!! Highly recommend . Wooot 🌟

My favorite coffee shop in the area! Their lattes, chai, and bagels are the best 😁

Their coffee is what I'd call third-ish wave coffee. They have single origin beans available, and their drinks aren't so sugary you can't taste the coffee, but it's far from the cutting edge coffee science or flavor that a solid third wave cafe might have. But that's fine! I really enjoyed the flavored latte I got - carrot cake, a seasonal drink. I wasn't expecting much, but the flavor was fantastic, very heavily spiced and aromatic, and not at all too sugary. The coffee stood up well to the amount of flavor added. I definitely get the vibe that flavored lattes are their forte, but they do offer some of the old classics - lattes, cortados, cappuccinos - as well as some new classics, like the espresso tonic. The drip coffee didn't particularly impress me, but it was cheap, and that's hard to complain about.

This place is a great place to get your coffee fix! Staff are very polite and friendly. The coffee is Soo good! In my opinion.. it's better than most of their competitors!

Great coffee and tea selection. Really good food too. Only complaint is I wish there were more softer surface seats available.

One of the best lattes I've ever had (a candied orange mocha), and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient. Bonus: If you're an almond milk fan, they use the Barista Blend version that froths and foams better in lattes. 👍🏻
