I myself and my 2 nieces had the best experience as a customer.Ms. Flo' we call her mama Flo'gave us the up most respect service with a happy smile and sweet spirit then came the gentleman who served us with chips and dips with a Happy Spirit I think his name was Mr Santos. Kudos to this establishment .We will definitely will be back and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. I'm sad I just found it. The flavor of the food is honestly mind blowing. And our server I wish I got her name. She was this little old (I'm sorry) lady and that woman was the sweetest. She had grandma vibes and was caring and just all around amazing lady. We will definitely be back

Grew up dining at this restaurant and have never had a bad experience. The staff is excellent, very attentive, and knowledgeable about their food. The food is always hot and delicious, and the drinks are strong and tasty!

PREFER HERE OVER TAQUERIA (jal. & vallata in tc are owned by the SAME family) ANYDAY their customer service is amazing everyone is super sweet! I dont get looked at crazy when i walk in they actually GREET you even if your by YOURSELF..And they give chips and salsa with to go orders ! Don't matter if it's only a 10$ order.. taqueria don't do that. Also if your vegetarian THEY HAVE ALOT OF VEGETARIAN OPTIONS.. taqueria don't.
the tortillas are fresh and homemade that's important for me as I'm Mexican myself..the Salsa is on point .. I was so wrapped up in taqueria I never realized how good terazas was . But that's why they are always packed! MAKES SENSE
Their not dirty like taqueria that has their meat just sit out already cooked! They make their dishes FRESH! I hate to compare but honestly I just want to enlighten everyone on how good this restaurant is OVERALL with their competitors! I believe it's very important. I've found beard hair multiple times in my food at taqueria trust me I didn't want to bash them but after I've been treated like crap every time I go there (WHEN I BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS!) and they started giving me expired salsa when I would ask for spicy salsa. It just was horrid. Then I got chicken that tasted like TUNA which is a clear indication that the meat was rotten because I felt sick IMMEDIATELY after.. so I would like to atleast give you this information because that's not fair.. I wouldn't want anyone to get sick! Food is nothing to play with especially CHICKEN. I'm spreading awareness I wouldn't want anyone ending up in the hospital over food poisoning !
I tried to ignore the fact that I was being treated horribly because i did like their food but once they started giving me expired things and me finding beard hair in my food.. yea I just simply won't go there anymore and I'm glad I found a good Mexican restaurant in tc that I can go to now! Want a good margarita?? Or some good Mexican food?? HERE IS THE PLACE!! Thank me later 😉

Love this place love the atmosphere the vibe the staff is very friendly. My experience is no complaints about anything haven't had any bad experience yet don't plan on it....

Amazing food. Always been going since they changed hands from an burger place to the place it is now. Just really great food.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would without a doubt. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated like family. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. She showered us with love and food. The beef fajitas were tender and flavorful. The queso was simple but superb. We will definitely be coming back.

Wow the good was great and you get what you pay for! Pictured is the Cuco combo and the shrimp brochette! Absolutely delicious!

Great place to get a quick lunch if your up for some Tex Mex. Fast service, great food and prices are fair.

Great margaritas and very good prices! The waitress and bartenders are very friendly. The waitress help each other out even if it is not there table. The manger steps up to help the bartender make drinks and serve the guest. My recommendation I would come back!!!

I grew up in the restaurant industry, I was recently in your restaurant on business sat March 16 , you have got to have the cleanest dishes and glasses, and silver ware I've ever seen in my life , im 59 .I asked the waitress, to give the people doing them my thanks and there doing a great job .

Chips and salsa were delicious! The food was fantastic and service was great. Terraza was suggested to us for a good margarita by a local...the wonderful food was just an added bonus! Service was quick and our service never let our drinks or chips and salsa get empty. She had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing throughout dinner. Highly recommend!

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Texas city!!! The store mgr. and his staff were super friendly, nice atmosphere, great food. I had needed some food catered and he put together a menu for me and my staff!!! Mr. Raymond ( forgive me if I spelled your name wrong)MANY THANKS TO YOU!!! ILL BE BACK SOON!!! JUST ASK FOR MR. We moved to Texas City from San Antonio so I feel accomplished in the art of Tex-Mex. Terraza serves warm red salsa and cold creamy green salsa. Both are great, although I do prefer a little more body in my red sauce. The drinks were good and decently priced. The queso was tasty and creamy. It did not rely on a lot of veggies to give it flavor and came out perfect. My daughter is sure to like that since she picks through queso and leaves me all the chunks.
Our main dish was the brochette combo which had 4 bacon wrapped shrimp and combo fajitas for under $20! Flavorful and filling.
The waitress was super sweet and attentive. It is very much like having family check on you as you eat after coming home from being gone for a long time.
The only issue, and it really didn’t bother us at all, is that smoking is allowed inside. It was a minor annoyance that can be overlooked because the rest of the experience was great. Unfortunately, we ate the food before I remembered to take a picture so here is what is left of the queso and salsa in the shape of Mickey.

Everything was so delicious! We will definately be back!

We go at least once a week. Best Mexican restaurant in Texas city. Hot sauce is delicious!!

To be serving 2 larger parties, himself, our server was on it. He managed to disappear once or twice, but I would too if I was serving our party.

The food arrived almost altogether sith maybe a side or two that was missed, but again, our party is a little "Can I get?" "Would you please" and "I'm sorry but can I have ___ instead?"

For the life of me, I can't remember what the name of the chicken plate I had was, but I'll be darned if it wasn't awesome. The seafood stuffed jalapenos were super crispy outside and soft and melt inside. Good flavor balance also.

Check it out if you're in the TC area, it's definitely worth it. Flavor and price wise.

Place is great. Most friendly staff you'll ever get. I have the enchiladas trio. It was great. Cheap drinks too. Margaritas are decent price for as good as they are made. Definitely will be going back and also I highly recommend checking it out. Oh and don't forget the chips and salsas are good too. My favorite is the creamy green
