Kirk Park Beach

This could possibly be one of the cleanest and prettiest beaches I have ever been too. Being from Brooklyn I am used to all kinds of debris (especially glass) on the sand when visiting Coney Island. I could see that this beach is very well maintained. The only thing you have to look out for is either Jellyfish or High Tide while either lying out or just walking on the sand. I was staying at a nearby motel, so I didn't have to deal with the parking situation, which I hear is pretty steep. I will definitely come here again the next time I am in the area.

Flat and sandy with the waves breaking at the shore (no body surfing unless you like the taste of sand). Best beach for lawn games like spike ball. On the less populated side for the area. Park nearby closer to town to avoid the parking fee.

Nice beach quiet swimming lifeguard on duty nice place if you can't swim with the stars you can go here no parking permit needed. Sandy Beach plenty of parking rate down here not busy today it's a Monday but if you came all this way and you're hot and itching for a place to swim turn on the country music strip down and take a splash

Nice and clean beach, was not too crowded on a Sunday, but beware parking lot was charging 38 dollars for 2 hours of parking. Found free parking near on the road.

Such great beaches! I love to come here in the day or night. When it's dark it's so beautiful. I would recommend bringing bug spray even though there aren't so many plants around which usually attract more bugs.
Parking is so easy and even if you have to park down the street you will have a nice walk there.

Loved this beach for sure except the one day they closed the entrance closest to our hotel to “refill sand” which made no sense why it would take half the day but anyway.. soft sand & beautiful views!

My favorite beach in the NYC area. Very clean, not too crowded, lots of parking space and the waves are amazing

It was a gorgeous day. The waves were high and kind of scary. There was plenty of space to stretch out and grab the sun.

Very nice beach for a summer day. They do have a separate parking lot for tourists. Remember to take the pass for parking during busy days.

A walkable beach from the village. The people are a mix from out of towners to locals. A family oriented beach too with kids making sand castles and boogie boarding till their hearts content. There are singletons where you can bask in the sun and one can find a spot away from the crowds. If you fancy some people watching, a good amount of surfers and beach goers will feast your eyes. The water is clear, the sand is soft among your toes. What are you waiting for, have a beach day here.

Beautiful beach, life guard protected, free parking, brand new public restrooms. A+++

Soft sand. Not crowded. Big waves. Parking is $35 for the day.

Watch out they hide and give tickets when you are leave the car. They change for beach permit only and you can't get the beqch permit casue everyrhing is closed casue covid. 160$ tickets but permit 200$ per a year. Where is logic ? Where is access to public beach ? Last time I check NATIONAL PARKS SHOULD HAVE ACCESS in USA for citizens, right ??? What a shame what they doing there.

Ample parking and beautiful beach. Lifeguards are present during the day. The kids had a blast here.

An excellent park for kids and families. A nice clean bathroom is available and you can park free and walk across to Montauk's picturesque public beach.

Was here with my mom and girls on Monday and it was so beautiful! Such a clean beach, the restrooms were close to the beach and parking lot too so it is not a hassle to bring the things you need for the beach. We enjoyed the ocean and it was so spacious and peaceful. Such a great time and thank goodness for wonderful weather 😎💕 will definitely return!

The beach is as if it came out of your dreams or from a movie set: after you climb atop of a small dune / heights, a huge, warm sandy beach lays before your eyes as far as you can see. It is windy and the waves are huge, but hey its the Atlantic!

There are a number of “entrances” to the beach - though there are no fences or any other barriers - its free to enter. There are a couple of hotels with their own private areas but most of it is free. Sometimes there are lifeguards, sometimes there arent, stat vigilant and stay safe, look out for yourselves!
There is at least one free restroom (called comfort room) in one of the parking lots.

Ample of parking near the beach..even if you park in the town and walk..its just 10mins walk. Lodging,motels availble in the area.
The beach is absolutely clean & welcoming. With many entry and exit spots.
We were just passing by the town so we stopped by at the beach for couple of hours.
With cdc guidelines everyone was maintaining distance. While walking was wearing masks. Kids were happily enjoying the waves. Its a great spot to be with your family.
